'Complete distance of the bridge will stretch over 1550 miles' Ridiculous AI nonsense is taking over YT
Yep Ai narrated for sure. Nobody proof read thiS
@ericcousino2068 What a joke along with loud stupid music...
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They forgot a decimal and it's closer to 1.5 miles
They could have named the bridge: “Elbows”, since that was Howe’s nick name because he liked to frequently elbow in the game 😂 You gave the length of the bridge wrong at: 1,550 miles 😂 at 4:06.
Gordie Howe is from Saskatchewan not Windsor, but they are both in Canada.
Thanks for pointing that out! You're right-Gordie Howe is from Saskatchewan. He’s a Canadian icon, and his long career with the Detroit Red Wings made him a fitting namesake for the bridge connecting the US and Canada
Its nice to see a bridge named for someone whos not the governors dad. Will always be the "Tappen Zee"
stupid rename.
This bridge has a stupid name. Used to be called Ambassador Bridge.
As a native Detroiter and a Red Wings fan, I’m very proud of both countries for cooperating on this project! Can’t wait to cross it to visit wonderful Canada.
Will Become The World's Most Beautiful Bridge
Fifty five percent of the workers are not Americans or Canadians. We will see how many used it when they find out it costs 25 dollars to cross.
@@karenjobagy5822 Did you pull these made up stats out of your behind? LOL! Not true! And you can't provide proof of that either so don't go arguing with me to "check google" because saying that doesn't make it any truer either 😂
Indeed is a good candidate, but there are a number of other great ones, such as this one: ua-cam.com/video/dlFOpGjILko/v-deo.html
Think the Canadian government is paying the entire cost of constructing the bridge.
And the full legal costs of fighting Matty Maroun for 25 years! 😜
Howe was from Saskatchewan, not Windsor.
Saskatchewan is in Canada isn't it?
Yorkton to be exact
@@karenjobagy5822 Yes, but his home town was referred to as being Windsor.
@@speedwack downtown Yorkton to be very exact
congrats to USA and Canada
262,000 litres of concrete is a joke. That is only 262 cubic meters, That would barely do a swimming pool. I think you mean 262,000 cubic meters of concrete. PS, NOBODY on the planet measures concrete by the litre.
I believe he meant to say 1550 meters and not miles, AI needs fine tuning😅
Oops, looks like we had a typo there! The bridge span is actually about 1.5 miles (or roughly 2.5 kilometers). Thanks for catching that-our scriptwriter might need a bit of fine-tuning! 😅
It always pays to be connected.
Wow the video states the complete distance of the bridge will stretch over 1550 miles. That is a long bridge!
Like so many videos on UA-cam lol. People make videos on things they have no clue about lmao. Likely meant to say 1.550 metres. But who knows....

Did I hear it right? 7 years to finish this small bridge that only have 853m clear span. This is ridiculous. The Construction of this bridge should have never lasted more than 2-3 years. Americans are wondering where the f_cking money goes.
Let me guess, the initial cost of the project was 2 billion and it was finished for just below 15 billion.
Cyclists lane? This is shows how corruption is in play, they don’t let u cross border on bicycle or on foot.
I havent been over there since they first started on it. I had forgot about that bridge after work got halted for something i forgot 🤷🏾♂️ But good job to the trades 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
This whole vid sounds like AI made it.
Ha! We promise there are real humans behind the scenes, but maybe we need to sprinkle a bit more personality into our scripts. Thanks for the feedback! If we start sounding too robotic, just send us a virtual poke. 😆
Maybe we need to build a bridge at the Peace Arch crossing between Washington and British Columbia as 11 minutes is way, way faster than the time it takes to cross the border on I-5/Hwy 99... :D
Well done, boys!! I am looking forward to our increased trade with the United States. 🇨🇦🤝🇺🇸
Fingers crossed!
This bridge is not for our benefit.
Amazing channel my friend, congrats God bless you! +1 like +1 subscribed
Thanks for the sub!
@MegaBuilds5280 Stop using AI and proof read, (1500 miles).
Just came here to write that Canada sucks
1550 mile long bridge? wow ! Try again.
Ha! A 1550-mile bridge would be quite the marvel, wouldn’t it? 😅 The actual span is about 1.5 miles (or roughly 2.5 kilometers). Thanks for pointing that out!
Can’t wait too see it finished
The Detroit rivers???😂
Apparently there is more than one we didn't know about there!!🤣🤣🤣
Oops, looks like we got a bit carried away with our plurals! Just one Detroit River, but it's big enough to feel like more! Thanks for catching that-our scriptwriter must have had water on the brain. 😉
@@MegaBuilds5280 It was our pleasure to point out your obvious faux pas!!!🤣🤣🤣
This by far in history is the cheapest built bridge in the world and no bridge will ever match the cost of this bridge considering it is 1550 miles long (at 4:07 in the video it says it’s 1550 miles long ) its distance is simply amazing how did they do it?it’s absolutely the first wonder of the world now a 1550 mile long bridge unbelievable!there next amazing bridge will be connecting Hawaii to California ( little less than 2500 miles) what’s another 1000 miles just a matter of time !😊🎉LOL
4:07 1500 miles you mean 1.5 miles. 1500 miles is Buffalo NY to Key West Florida.
And the company who is the lead in financing and building the bridge is Spanish (ACS Dragados)
4:06 show no concrete road panels on Canadian side. And no steel crossbeams to support them. Area just under Canadian flag.
glad they didn't name it after some Efin politician. like when they changed toronto international airport to pierson int airport. i could see trump demanding it be named after him .
The needs of Canadians for the goods delivered by truck from the USA is a major reason they built this bridge. Therefore, all the caviling about the Canadians paying for the construction is somewhat misguided. We will not even be collecting tolls on our side. Tolls will all be collected on the Canadian side.
Not misguided at all. The crossing is needed for both countries. The auto industry alone is very dependent on reliable cross border traffic. Your comment is but an excuse for the lack of investment from the American side.
I want to walk on the bridge.
All well and good until some wayward ship’s captain runs into it…
Kind of hard to do with a Cable stray bridge like this unless a ship can levitate while moving left or right
Ambassador is redundant dinosaur whose time is ticking away. A liability waiting to become tragedy.
nonsense, its in great condition. its also been obsolete since the 2000s.
why is it named after an NFL player? doesn't make sense
Gordie Howe was actually a famous ice hockey player. He played for the Detroit Red Wings and is a beloved figure in both the US and Canada, which is why the bridge is named in his honor. Thanks for your comment!

.
Too bad it won’t open to sept 2025 so they say 😂. Project started in 2018 and been hell every since
remember covid
@@barrykervin4219 is that ur excuse? 2018 the project started and today is June 21,2024 . Let’s keep blaming Covid for everything 😂
@@ATF1985 Lawsuits did delay it, but did you listen to the entire narrative? So did Covid.
@@refich lawsuit delayed it to the project start date 2018 😂. Bridge should have been done 7 to 10 years ago
Thank you.
You're welcome!
i hope they don't demolish the Ambassador bridge.
They won’t
@@RailMan102_Productions Well, eventually they will, but as long as it's structurally sound, its owner will want to keep collecting tolls.
@@montyharder3663 they'll probably only do it if it becomes structurally deficient(despite being nearly 100 years old its not), also it hasn't even been 20 years since its received renovations, as it deck was picked and reconstructed in 2019.
@@montyharder3663 Are you sure the city of Windsor is down with continued traffic through its neighbourhoods?
@@fumblerooskie; The Ambassador Bridge accesses provincial Highway 3. The city of Windsor does not control access to Hwy 3.
Why are you mixing English and metric units, in America we refuse to use metric and all of our roads are in miles and trucks are in yards3. Exciting project and progress, been following.
Great observation! We're just trying to keep everyone on their toes with a bit of both worlds. 😉 Thanks for sticking with us and following the project.
Well it’s an international bridge between the US and Canada, which does use metric units.
The metric system is better
your cars are all metric . i hired a maintenance guy who was a mechanic in the us at pep boys for 12 yrs. he only has metric tools.
I respect each person's opinion however please take a look below the surface. The Metric system is used extensively here in the United States where the USCS (Imperial) is mainly still around on the surface.
The connection was finally finished on the 21st or 22nd of June your videos doesn’t show the full decking finished. If you’re going to say it was connected before get the facts right.
