Esther: "Think of the child!"
Zach: "YES! KILL!"
"I KNOW, THEY'RE NEXT"
Ironic.
She's still hiding behind children to try and escape Zach
"Don't chase revenge, but if the opportunity for revenge shows itself? Take it."
SUCK IT BATMAN!
I love that the auto save shows his stat as "Messiah" AS he's shotgunning a pregnant woman in the chest, stay classy new vegas.
Fortunately that pregnant woman is just Esther so who cares
Messiah just means you have a Karma stat of over 1k.

Oh hey, I got to revoice Esther here, always love seeing my characters get blown to pieces lol - glad to see you had fun doing it too x
Love your work🎉
You did some convincing voice acting, I remember this encounter being a really tough decision. Esther genuinely seemed like she'd changed, with your performance.
Glad to see this finally got done, thank you for your work
Just another person chiming in to say your performance was *amazing*
This was a rlly fun mod
"Zach starts haggling Brookshire up to 1.75 cause she was pregnant"
"Brookshire thinking to himself that this guy is absolutely mental and gives it to him so he doesn't get murdered"
Too bad it wasn't an option. lol
Esther: "I'm gonna sell children into slavery!"
Also Esther: "Nooooo think of MY child that I am going to horribly mistreat, too!"
Reminds me of that old cartoon "Kids next door" where the guy "Mr.Boss" hates kids, but not his own. Tho, changing Mr.Boss who is a jackass boss who overworks his employees for a Slaving Scum bag, I can understand why they pulled the trigger. If only there was an option to terrorize Esther after she gave birth- nah probably the baby would turn into some vigilante hunting after us.
Pull a syndrome and steal her child, kill her and her husband, and raise the kid to be your sidekick
She wants you to think what will happen if she doesn't sell this last child into slavery.
@@Become-EggplantI fully get what you mean but I do want to add that Mr. Boss is Numbah 86’s dad. We know he loves his kids. But yeah Esther is just horrible.
Esther's voice acting is incredible, whoever played her did an amazing job.
Esther is not voiced on original NVB3 tho cus I vaguely remember playing the mod without Esther VO on it, and iirc Esther VA dipped the project and disappear.
@@endochronic_ yeah, it sounds like the VA for this one is different. The accent seems slightly different and there's a notable difference in their tone - I have no idea how long it's been since they first met Esther, so it's possible the VA just got better equipment for voicing stuff as well but I doubt it.
Either way, she did a good job here
Really not sure how to get her voiced, just played the most recent version off nexus and she was completely unvoiced. I love this mod still though lol
@@aaronnorrie8225 they probably fills the un-voiced by hiring VA or smth
Zach's reaction to seeing Esther was solid fucking gold XD He doesn't remember many people he killed or interacted once or twice a long time ago but he instantly recognized Esther.
When someone does something that scummy, you remember them.
@@senounatsuru6453 child trafficking is as evil as you can get short of sexually exploiting them. And even then, you are selling them to people that are likely to do exactly that... okay, she is nothing but a monster. Probably got herself pregnant to use it as a shield no doubt.
I mean mail bombs aren't very discriminate and usually kill more random secretarys, clerks, and interns. Because do you think any high ranking civil servant or politico opens their own mail?
Not to mention the shrapnel is gonna k anyone that is nearby as well
I'd imagine after the ordeal the duo had in The Frontier, Zach is pretty sour on the NCR as a whole.
@@Krisars that's kinda unfair, but understandable.
@@RomanvonUngernSternbergnrmfvus I think that’s pretty absurd because most people that work in government clerk positions do that as a career regardless of who the political figure is. They just keep the basics running they don’t make policy. For instance if say such a package was sent to a senator, it’s not gonna be even the direct secretaries of that senator that opens the mail. Nope gonna be a career clerk who opens and sits the stuff.
Just look at the records of what happened during mail anthrax attacks. It’s messy and stupid
@@RomanvonUngernSternbergnrmfvus This is a psychotic thing to believe about Civil Servants

When I saw Esther pop up, I think the grin on my face was as big as Zach's.
I can imagine the kind of "chores" Esther would give her child.
1. Clean the windows
2. Feed the dog
3. Produce ≥ a quota of 40 pounds of iron from the dark dangerous mine
*daily chores
I thought you were going to go down the luring other potential "orphans" route.
@@larsfairley3835 that's especially dark
@@eren34558 that's actually how it would most likely go. Very little chance a morally bancrupt parents like these would bring up their kid in a morally sensible way. Not with that "if you can get away with it, do it" code of theirs
The slaver who sells kids is still hiding behind kids.
Just the *massive* neuron activation In Zach's brain upon remembering Esther lol
Considering Esther's history with children, killing Esther then and there is the most merciful thing that could be done for that child.
She would have sold it to the legion 3 hours after it popped out
As soon as Esther showed up again, all I heard was the “kill bill siren”
(11:55) for some reason I can hear rusty saying "shoot the tummy that's her weak spot."
I love the auto saving:
Screenshot of something cursed
Zach lv 40: MESSIAH
*something blessed
Zach ten seconds before entering." Let negotiate"
Zach seeing Esther " The negotiation are short."
When Esther begged for mercy, I actually laughed.
From a quick search, it has been nearly 3 years since they last saw Esther. It has been that long yet Zach remembered her almost instantly.
One way or another, she is a memorable character, and even more so thanks to their vids on these mods.
ah man "think of the child" quickly turned into "let me put on this EOD suit so I don't blow myself up with this grenade I'm inevitable going to fire"
A mail bomber who worked against tax workers who lives in the Rockies alone in a cabin who is known for his vast intelligence.. that sounds familiar.
14:30 Jackson truly knows the proper things to say to save the life of his unborn child.
I've been waiting for this one! Really wanted to see how Zach would handle Esther. Just as I wanted, an itchy trigger finger and a loose set of morals! So funny!
If Jackson didn’t remind me of the horrid stuff Esther did I would’ve kept her alive in my play through lol
I forgot who water was and then Jackson just had to remind the bad karma trigger happy courier most likely still pissed at his partner for the shit she did of the shit she did
It doesn't help that he start making funny of you for falling for the ophange bit. At that point it seems like he looking for a reason for you to kill him.
Funnily enough I did NVBIII before The Inheritance kekw
Not much of a pragmatic survivors after all I guess
I wouldn't every time I have played fallout I operate off of a death to slavers policy or as I like to call it the Lincoln doctrine

"We'll have to dig several graves each time because she has a baby."
And the award for darkest joke of the month goes to...!

Surprised how Zach didn't catch on the fact that Godwin is a reference to Unabomber.

@@RyuKaguya Sounds like you're afraid someone would be inspired by his ramblings and run amok. Considering the absolute state of society as it is, that fear might not be unjustified.
9:54 - 10:01 the way Zach was able to convey the emotions from surprise, to disbeflief, to pure unbridled rage all in 7 seconds, and with so few words, 3 to be exact (or 2 if we dont count 'OH' as a word.), was pretty amazing/hilarous.
There needs to be more media about the opposite effect of revenge. A lot just say you will end up with nothing and how you will feel empty and with no purpose.
Then there is the other side: you killed the gang that terrorized your family, you have this new confidence that was likely earned/needed to hunt them down, you likely made new friends on the way and now you have this story about bravery, determination and justice to your kids and grandkids
When I think about taking personal revenge, I really see how it could be a consuming fire, that doesn't fix anything, and lets the pain fester in your soul. You're too close. However, that doesn't mean that I don't think Justice should be served.
All the time someone seeks revenge, they should be grieving and coming to terms with what happened. They are emotionally injured, and need to heal. But if you seek justice for others, like Batman and Spiderman. They do what they do so that others don't have to suffer like they did. That is a public service, and a source of strength.
That was a straight up lizard brain reaction when you first saw her. Loved every second of it.
OMG.....that " Ooohhh". It made my day. Finally caught up with the series...what a beautifull gift 🤣🤣
2 things one: Her voice actors was amazing.
2: I had the same reaction as Zach did when he saw ester
I would kill to run a dungeons and dragons game with these two
also more bounties to heal the soul
Oh shit its Adan!
Seeing this video, it makes me feel awful I have spared Esther a couple of times in couple of playthroughs.
It feels like Esther was trying to get two steps ahead just so I can let her live
In the future, I won't be as merciful.
Play the last mod he made, The Better Angels of Our Nature, to the end.
@@marcusbergman6116 I did.
And besides, NVB3 kinda soured me on Someguy series.
It feels like the whole mod was trying to beat me over the head about how killing those bounties made things worse.
And to make matters worse, Marko didn't live up to the hype that Someguy built up about him.
I mean it's highly improbable that she'd planned it IMO.
@@marcusbergman6116 Could you elaborate?
@@vincegalila7211 wasn't there the female pirates that got pregnant after getting captured just so they wouldn't be hung?

Only 5k
@@eren34558 *6,500. The 5k from Esther, and the additional 1.5k from the bounty on Jackson, plus the TOO bounty on Esther.
This fight seems pretty fair, actually. Zach against Esther, Mike against Jackson and Ford against the baby!
Zach politicians don’t open their own mail. So the poor maid of butler is the one getting blown up.
Big enough bomb will probably get em.
I like the alternative to dealing with Jackson and Esther. Since Jackson provides for her, you can just kill *him* and leave her alive, which forces her to the lowest of lows to provide for the baby, having her raise it and painting you as the ultimate monster to the child.
It's probably the "worst" way to deal with it since you kill a vigilante whose only crime was crossing a government, and force someone into a fate worse than death, but oh man was it cathartic to make her suffer. Shit, maybe Virgil was right?
Eh.
15:57 That honestly sounds like a good setup for a movie: Main character stuck in a loop of death, over the course of the movie more is revealed about things they've done until the killer is revealed to be out for revenge for what the main character did, having found a way to keep them in an infinite time loop until they're bored with them. You know, like happy deathday only not shit.
there was a game that came out recently called deathloop, sort of like what you described although i didnt play it myself so i cant say for sure
Jeez, I hate taxation just as much as the next guy but even I'm sane enough to know that sending bombs to people is downright evil.
It’s justified.
I cried laughing when Zach screamed "WOAH HOLY FUCK!!!" I replayed it overr and over again!😂
The evil laugh that i let out at the sight of Esther could rival ANY villain in human history
The moment I saw ester every single fiber of my bod said “OH SHIT!”
Ah, I've been waiting for this lovely reunion.
There still one more reunion but unfortunately the man that want that reunion the most doesn’t have any dialogue about it
15:01 coming from someone who mere seconds before laughed at his lover engaging in child slavery. Call me a sceptic, but I doubt the senator did anything nearly as bad. or if he did, that wasn´t why jackson killed him. not like the guy has a moral compass.
for real. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If these people think violence is the answer, it's also the answer for them. I wouldn't let any of them walk away.
brookshire later that day recieved a beeping package.
he thought it was his new sony psp. BUT IT WA A BOMB
This was probably the best dark humor episode in the series, but also there were so much occasions to make a joke about abortion and you didn't.
Don't go full dark unless it's part of the joke is the first rule of dark comedy, like how the semi sentient cherub in 40k are probably use in horrible way if find by a slanesh cultist
I honestly didn't remember Esther until Zach went, "Holy f--k!"
The amount of excitement I get from a new mikeburnfire video is immense
almost as much excitement as zach at the prospect of killing a pregnant woman that scorned him.
Lol. That load screen at 13:08 though.
Level 40 Messiah that is Zach... with a screenshot of him reloading a shotgun and a dead pregnant woman in front of him.
Ester: "tHiNk Of ThE cHiLd"

The moment Zach recognizes her I fucking lose it! 🤣

@@hungcuong606 No idea, but one day after completing this couriers ran up on me and exploded every now and then. If you outran them for 25 seconds after they spawn they explode anyway. Read later on the wiki that this is a possible outcome.
You could convince Godwin to stop sending mail bombs, but you need both high speech and 8 in the charisma stat to do that.
@@Krisars Nobody puts 8 in charisma. That's just crazy.

"There is no greater release than that from vengeance sated" - Kain (Blood Omen)
given her track record with kids and the fact the daddy seems to endorse her orphan scheme... I think Zach did the baby a favor.
They shouldn't have made Esther visibly pregnant, so you wouldn't know whether she was telling the truth or cheating you again. And when you kill her, she has "fetus" in her inventory. (I might be a bad person) 🙃
😂🤣😂🤣
yuck.
Everyone wants her dead. There is no getting past this time. With a pregnant belly it leaves the choice up to the player
Eww dude
Dude. Yes.
Zach's guttural HOLY FUCK destroyed me.
Zach has a point on that revenge thing. It’s so annoying see the same “revenge is always bad” thing be repeated but it really just depends on how far someone goes to accomplish it, who the person is, and how they might feel about it.
Grenade rifle. Providing pro-choice options at anytime of life
Zach, each and every one of the ncr terrorist bounties all end with innocents dying if you don't take them down
Channeling Todd Howard something fierce here.
For those unaware, Godwin is the only NCR bounty that causes further innocent death if you leave him alive, and only if you fail to convince him to stop the bomb-making.
@@passingrando6457 huh, was pretty sure they all ended pretty badly, though it's been a while since I played
@@WolffangLightwood Nope, spoilers below the "read more", but I think you're getting the NCR bounties mixed up with some others:
The first one, if you don't convince him to stop, does, but none of the others.
Esther and the guy actually raise their kid right, and the kid grows up to be a respected lawman _or_ you can shoot him and leave her alive, leaving her to live a miserable life and her son to grow up planning to track down and kill you.
Joe Frost, on the other hand, it doesn't really matter either way. Dead or alive, any positive or negative benefit is forgotten about within a few years.
There _are_ some of the mainline bounties that, like Godwin, will cause suffering or death if you don't pass the skill checks when letting them go. I forget the name of the guy you have to use "Terrifying Presence" on, who becomes scared peaceful. Then there's Glanton, who encourages you to let him go in... other ways.
The second I saw the flashback of Esther, I said the exact same thing as Zach: "YOU." Honestly, if I had been the one there and she had said the life of the kid meant everything to her, I wouldn't know whether to say " Thanks, now I know what spot to shoot you at" or "Think about the fact of forcing someone ELSE'S former everything into slavery while you burn down in hell, shooting the shit with Bahamet!"
I fucking laughed so loud when Esther showed up. Love Zachs reaction in this episode.
And I thought they wouldnt kill her being pregnant. It sucks for the fetus but she really deserves it tho.
Double kill
Brookshire just went "They'll accept our (NCR's) peaceful ways. By force!" and yet wonders why they rebuff his offer
That „quote“ about revenge is actually not that bad. Could have been from Babylon 5…
that would explain why it sounded familiar to me
Huh, so he killed Esther....
HELL YEAAAAAAAH! LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Hey, I thought Esther's dialogue was left un-voiced.

Oh my god Esther’s voice actress did an incredible job

Finally the moment I've been waiting for. Zach's meeting esther again lol
'I feel worse about the negligent discharge than I do about murdering a woman with child' is just SO good of a line!
Despite being an atheist I can't help but think of this Hellsing Abridged quote... that originally came from Kill Bill
"When fortune smiles on something as violent and ugly as revenge, it seems proof like no other, that not only does God exist, you're doing His will."
lol it's cool how she never said she changed or anything but only used the baby as human shield.
Also great modding, now you can get pregnant women in new vegas. Maximum degeneracy, just how I like it
Is it kind of fucked up that I actually laughed and cheered when Zach killed Esther along with her unborn child?
yes and no.
Well, that mail bomber sounds like Theodore Kaczynski to me, TBH.
Yay a new episode
I think I'd personally have let Esther go, if only for the potential for their final confrontation to be all "Kill Bill".
Yeah, about that.....
I'd rather say what her ending is , but I prefer Mike and Zach finish off NVB3 first.
Find it funny that Godwin tells you to think of his children, even though Godwin himself isn't thinking of them. He says he is, but as he choses vendetta over making sure he's around to raise them, he shows he clearly isn't.
oh my god the jokes got dark nearing the end there. I LOVE IT
