The detail that makes all the difference is that Peter got the suit back after saving the day and not before his final fight with The Vulture... the scene of his desperate crying for help wouldn't be half as powerful with his superhero suit.
The first Endgame trailer is a masterpiece. It literally shows stuff only from the first 15 minutes and it sets the tone perfectly. It doesn't spoil anything and it's super exciting.

I remember when the Avengers Infinity War trailer came out. I literally watched it back like 5 times - even till this day I watch it - and I still had my jaw dropped. Even for a Marvel movie the plot, theoretically, should be easy to spot with knowledge from previous movies and/or the comics. But the one thing that I like about this trailer is that the plot was pretty well camouflaged (I mean the movie itself had more action then plot but oh well) and the fact that Marvel deliberately changes or hides things in the trailers just makes them that much better. I remember when I watched the Endgame trailer and I thought I knew exactly how the movie was going to unfold and I was pissed. Then I remembered that Marvel is notoriously known for adding unused scenes and changed things so I had hope that what I thought wasn’t true. Back to the Infinity War trailer. Not to mention that the big bad villain reveal was long enough to make it unsettling for those who knew the MCU. Talk about initial impressions. The score of the movie, insane and makes the trailer feel like a mini movie. All and all the trailer made me sooo impatient for the movie and made the movie so much better for me to watch, because of the attention to detail and length that Marvel goes.
Using Nick Fury's lines of "There was an idea..." and Thanos' monologue of "In time, you know what's it like to lose..." foreshadowed what will happened in Infinity War but it was hidden so well that I only realized it after watching the movie. And the used of Avengers' theme song into slow and magnanimous orchestral beats compared to its original lighthearted version makes the stakes higher that it feels we're definitely going to a real war - the feeling of hype for guns blazing glory, anxiety of losing comrades, and the bitter taste in the mouth of the tradegy it brought

Rise of Skywalker trailer was pretty good. I feel like almost any Star Wars trailer is an instant masterpiece to be honest...

I think the trailer campaign for The Force Awakens (all 3 trailers) was MASTERFULLY done. -They didn't spoil anything. Not even Luke Skywalker's story. -They let us know from the get go the main characters were new, instead of trying to trick us into thinking the OT characters were going to be the focus -The music was used perfectly -They even used some lines that were also a message for us fans ("There has been an awakening"="After 10 years, Star Wars is BACK", "It's true. All of it. = Everything we saw on these movies 40 years ago is still relevant in the world") I really REALLY have to thank Disney for the amazing marketing campaign they're doing for this trilogy. It really transforms all the waiting into a part of the experience as well, it doesn't just last the two hours you see the movie.
I remember that the trailer for the Grand Budapest Hotel literally revealed every major plot point in what is a very conventional, linear plot. When I went to see the film subsequently, the visuals showcased in the trailer were so strong that me knowing the plot in advanced didn’t even matter, because I was desperate to see how Wes Anderson would visually convey all the information which had been spoilt in the trailer. The Grand Budapest Hotel is my favourite film.
Infinity war trailer is probably my favourite one of all time, just the music and how they introduced thanos ugh it just makes me so hyped even though the film came out years ago
The first trailer for Dunkirk. You have no idea what the movie is about. All you see is a bunch of soldiers on a boat and hear the plane coming. The sounds of the approaching plane gets louder and they duck. And of trailer. No idea what the film is about and I wanted to watch it.
What are your thoughts on the "Dunkirk" main trailer? It does use two sections of words but it is trying to briefly explain the premise to those that have no idea of the real-life events (both in the UK and especially abroad). From reactions I've seen, many viewers have no idea what it's about :)
You had no idea what the film is about because you don't know history. As soon as I saw the title after the trailer, I knew I don't want to watch another movie about ordinary-man heroism. Don't get me wrong, the movie will probably be good, it's Nolan we're talking about, after all. It's just not my cup of tea. Ah, I've the feeling I'll end up watching it anyway ...
One of my favorite trailers is the mission impossible fallout trailer. That song with those cuts. Amazing. I watched it so many times it always gets me hyped even since the movie came out
The trailer for season 7 of the clone wars, with how it has the clones’ voiceovers and their helmets and all that. I haven’t actually watched all of the other seasons but that trailer makes me want to. It’s got so much hype lol.
The clone wars is one of my all time fav shows. It starts a little rough with some characters, I didn’t like Asoka right away, but it gets good quick and now I’m so sad it’s done and over. Every voice actor in that show embodied the characters and made them feel real af. The animation and care put into it, especially the last season, was so apparent and legit breathtaking at times. It’s worth it to watch the whole thing, I promise
Damn, just the excerpt of the SW: TFA trailer had me shedding a tear because I remember being incredibly hyped for the first Star Wars movie to be released at a point in my life where I was already into the franchise and it's lore, and also because my hopes and expectations were ruined, not so much by no. 7 but by episodes 8&9
10 Cloverfield Lane - I watched that trailer dozens and dozens of times and had that song stuck in my head for weeks. Starting with that cheerful nostalgic music and ending with John Goodman frantically yelling “you’re going to get us all killed”. Getting goosebumps all over again.
iBrow inc. The lyrics in Way Down We Go relate to the the story and tone as well, maybe not as much as Hurt though. Especially "They'll run you down" part.
Dude The Last Jedi trailer was actually amazing. Made the movie that much more disappointing. I spent 6 months watching and breaking down that trailer with my friends, getting all hyped for the movie, but then it came out and was the biggest disappointment I’ve ever experienced at the cinema
I personally love how for the Far From Home trailer, they ride off the backlash from spoiling too much in the Homecomeing trailer. They spoil the line about the multiverse, and they had everyone convinced that Sony made yet another incompetent trailer. Then, Mysterio reveals that not only is there no multiverse, but he actually also has ties with Tony Stark, and you can just feel the entire audience go: WHAT THE F-
The 2022 Batman trailer is still perfection and ages so well for telling a decent bit about the plot characters and having an amazing song that fits the tone and builds so much excitement
I think lately a lot of trailers have the tendency to reveal too much (like thor ragnarok's trailer revealing Hela breaking Mjolnir and Hulk being on Sakaar??) so I actually am more fond of Teaser trailers, cause they do exactly that: they tease us. Very efficiently most of the time. The teaser for Into the Spiderverse was amazing, I've probably watched it a dozen times already. I think the teaser for attack of the clones was amazing too, almost silent with just vader's breathing...
In my college class rigt now and this exact video is being used in my class for an analysis on how to make good trailers. You're content is now college profgesor worthy cosmo
MrDevinjb the movie was generally a good movie but not like holy shit what a great movie. But that trailer was creepy as hell. I enjoyed the idea of an alien movie that involved almost no aliens. Fear of the unknown is like the most common and primal fear and unfortunately I think the movie just missed the beat at a few points.
Yeah I mean personally I thought it was great but I know a good amount of people only like the first 2/3 for obvious reasons. But still, amazing trailer that tells you almost nothing.
One of my favorite trailers was the trailer for I robot back in the day. I was fooled by the trailers and thought Sonny would be the villain the entire movie. I was blown away by the twist because it wasn't hinted at in the trailer. Awesome video man
You picked some fantastic trailers to dissect. Some of my favorites include: 1. The Social Network - Waiting nearly an entire minute to show actual footage from the film was bold and got me hooked (same as the teaser poster was utterly devoid of everything but Jesse Eisenberg's face and a dozen words. I couldn't get it out of my head for days). So much is left to the imagination despite the dialogue and the cover of "Creep" is a perfect pairing. One of my favorite movies. 2. Man of Steel (1st teaser) - The dialogue paired with the music and little footage from the film made me begin to care about Superman. Couldn't really care less about it now, but it was super effective following The Dark Knight Rises 3. Suicide Squad - Talk about an amazing trailer for an otherwise sucky movie. Bohemian Rhapsody was the perfect pairing for the trailer footage. If only the rest of the film had been as good.
My favorite trailers so far have been the first BoTW 2 trailer, and the clone wars season 7 trailer. I love ones like this that just absolutely make you lose you sh*t.
Coming back to this a few years later: The RWBY trailers consistently keep me invested every single time I go back to them, and I can't help but fall down that rabbit hole when I start one. Though considering their length, would they actually be trailers or more like actual episodes, or like anime OVA's?
i think the original Dead Island trailer ua-cam.com/video/ialZcLaI17Y/v-deo.html was particularly ambitious and ended up being more compelling than the game was.
THIIIIS Perfect example of a beautiful trailer for a mediocre game, I remember watching this backwards and forwards when it came out. Great example, peach pimp! -- Dyl
Infinity War and Avangers Endgame are both two of my favorite trailers. They are not telling you too much: Infinity War e.g. changes some visuals so we could not know how many stones Thanos has already collected. Endgame on the other hand basically only shows you the reaction of the survivors towards the snap, but it hypes me up every time I watch it!
The only thing I dont like about the endgame trailer, is seeing Scott Lang appear at the door. Excuse me, you're supposed to be missing. Why are you showing that he's out? It's funny, but shouldn't have been included.
@@mrfriesen96 I think it was a good choice to show ant man at the end. Most people knew he was going to be in endgame anyways, so it would be dumb if they tried to hide him completely from the promotional material. plus, the way they revealed him in the 1st endgame trailer was great, because it told us that his arrival would be important, but it didnt specify exactly how he will affect the story, thus building hype
I always loved how vague the trailer for Treasure Planet was. It had an epic feel and beautiful visuals. I'll always love the scene where he was solar surfing.
The Infinity War trailer. I had watched a few MCU movies in the past like the first Avengers and Captain America but very casually. Then one time on a plane ride, I happened to watch Civil War just cause they had it. I loved it (don't @ me I know how you feel about it Cosmonaut) and I thought maybe I might like these Marvel movies that I didn't have much interest in before. Then the Infinity War trailer came out...oh my gosh. My mind was blown, it looked so insane and nuts, so much crazy stuff happening, awesome heroes, an extremely menacing villain. I loved it. After that, I watched all the MCU movies in a couple months, and then saw Infinity War release day. The trailer for Infinity War made me a Marvel fan and I'm so grateful for it because I love being the huge Marvel fan that I now am.
On my first watch there was a middle-aged lady that I sat next to scarfing down her popcorn from the previews until the movie started. I imagined she has an enthusiastic son/daughter that showed her all the MCU films, but maybe she was like you and saw that awesome trailer. It's easily the most memorable trailer of these films for me, for the same reasons as you've mentioned
@@LifeofLucidity I played the trailer on the t.v at my school, within 30 seconds it went from super loud to dead silent and hundreds of students focus was on that screen.
One of my favorite trailers of all time is for the movie Nightcrawler it builds up the tension so well I have seen the movie 3 times now but sometimes I still go back and watch the trailer and it's fantastic how much they expose you to this world without revealing the plot
The best use of music to convey an emotion without any dialogue is always John Williams stuff, my favourite being binary sunset from Star Wars a new hope
My favorite is probably the Godzilla trailer. It reveals very little, shows a visually intriguing intro (the Halo Jump, which ended up being my favorite scene) and obviously that Godzilla screech. The bad part i would say is that it doesn't have music and just relies on that army guy talking. Link to it here: ua-cam.com/video/QjKO10hKtYw/v-deo.html
There are a few trailers that really stand out in my eyes: - Assassin's Creed Cinematic Trailers - Moonlight Trailer (while it does reveal a lot of about the plot/protagonists, it does not reveal the true complexity of each character and moment, making their actual occurrences extremely impactful. It is so beautifully crafted that it influenced me to watch the film when it was release. It remains as one of my favorite films of all time -- and that is a list that I rarely update) - Star Wars Trailers (the final products themselves have been a bit underwhelming, but the marketing is phenomenal) - DC Extended Universe Trailers (DC's recent films have not been fantastic, but each trailer is so wonderfully crafted and edited that I can't help but feel pumped) - Logan Teaser Trailer - Mad Max Fury Road Trailers (The editing, score, and cinematography for the trailer and the film itself is outstanding.)
Baie Rogers DCEU trailers have been really great except for that BvS Doomsday trailer. The Man of Steel "You Are Not Alone" trailer remains one of the best trailers I've seen in recent years.
The Force Awakens Trailer was truly, truly amazing. The single notes of music in the beginning, paired with vast and lonely surrounding, followed by an increase in intensity and nostalgia. mY GOD.
Yeah, they really went too far with that scene. Though I didn't find the trailers terribly exciting. In fact, I thought the movie was going to be lacking judging from the trailers. Which did me well, considering I was very positively surprised when watching it. I didn't expect it to be one of those movies I'd watch multiple times over just to get everything (and piece together the information that some might argue the movie should have explained, but I loved this "detective work")
slavik gurmeza honestly I loved that movie however I wish they would have used doomsday later in the justice league franchise it would have brought the justice league together and it would have been awesome to see all of the reactions of the heroes.
By far the best "trailers" i've seen are the "meet the" short videos valve released of the team fortress 2 characters. God damn, these are still, after all these years, the peak. I love them. Meet the spy is just a masterpiece. It could be you, it could be me, it could even be -
I've seen a lot of trailers and one in particular is not even "best trailer I've ever seen", but really settled in my memory due to number of things. It aired first on E3 event - it was "The Crew - Coast to Coast Trailer". I don't know how to put it in words exactly, but everything "clicked" for me in this 2min video. It showed a very good premise - you can drive from coast to coast of virtual representation of USA, never as freely as before. Choice of music - spot on - good trailer music is something you probably never heard and immediately want to find. Showing multiplayer capabilities at the end was a cherry on top. Really stood out from the typical trailers, especially today with this weird formula many studios push. Unfortunately The Crew never lived up to this trailer and hype, but it's still a very good game if you want to relax. Couple years later I had hardware capable of running it, I set the route from Los Angeles to Miami and drove with my own playlist. Through all seasons and all landscapes. Yeah, realistic or not, it was a great little experience that I cherish.
I cant think of a trailer more iconic to me than that of Skyrim. Max Von Sydow's narration, haunting dragon chant, AMAZING music, and then a beautiful showcase of the game's environment and variety of gameplay came together for an amazing trailer that I still go back to from time to time.
Related, I really loved the Lorde song in the Paris AC trailer. Watched it many times. Too bad I never finished the game because it was so buggy and annoying.
I cant believe how accurate the homecoming prediction was
The detail that makes all the difference is that Peter got the suit back after saving the day and not before his final fight with The Vulture... the scene of his desperate crying for help wouldn't be half as powerful with his superhero suit.
The only thing that had this movie going was the vulture-Liz twist
Homecoming was still a great movie but would’ve been better without the spoiler trailer.
@@tysonmay5522 yeah movie was great but trailer was shit
Sony's had that problem for a while now. Pretty sure Marvel took the far from home trailer away from them for this reason
“When an absolute shît movie has a good trailer, it's a beautiful thing.”
Never heard a truer statement.
Amen brother!
Loool I hate I can predict things bro I knew too how homecoming was going to end
yeah, I get pumped up for each upcoming star wars sequels movie everytime a new trailer comes out, even though it sucks in my opinion in retrospects
@Winifred Eghrudje it's bad. They should've made wonder woman's gold armor like the venom suit.
Suicide squad is the best example of this.

-They let us know from the get go the main characters were new, instead of trying to trick us into thinking the OT characters were going to be the focus
-The music was used perfectly
-They even used some lines that were also a message for us fans ("There has been an awakening"="After 10 years, Star Wars is BACK", "It's true. All of it. = Everything we saw on these movies 40 years ago is still relevant in the world")
I really REALLY have to thank Disney for the amazing marketing campaign they're doing for this trilogy. It really transforms all the waiting into a part of the experience as well, it doesn't just last the two hours you see the movie.
Rodrigo Ele the final trailer still gives me goosebumps
And the trailers ended making the movie more surprising (I and my friends are all "Oh she' is a Jedi like Finn... wait, what?"
Exactly. The moment when Snoke says "In the hands of your father... Han... Solo" we were all like "WHAT???????????"
"You have that power too", " The Force, it's calling to you. Just let it in"
I remember that the trailer for the Grand Budapest Hotel literally revealed every major plot point in what is a very conventional, linear plot.
I personally think that the first Logan trailer is perfect.
That is fact, not opinion.
As much as I love the film, I think i might like the trailer even more. Same goes for Dark Knight Rises.
Agree
wait how did you get my profile picture?
The first trailer for Dunkirk. You have no idea what the movie is about. All you see is a bunch of soldiers on a boat and hear the plane coming. The sounds of the approaching plane gets louder and they duck. And of trailer. No idea what the film is about and I wanted to watch it.
Agreed, the first Dunkirk trailer is phenomenal.
Let's hope it's good, I'm fairly certain it will do well
What are your thoughts on the "Dunkirk" main trailer? It does use two sections of words but it is trying to briefly explain the premise to those that have no idea of the real-life events (both in the UK and especially abroad). From reactions I've seen, many viewers have no idea what it's about :)
You had no idea what the film is about because you don't know history. As soon as I saw the title after the trailer, I knew I don't want to watch another movie about ordinary-man heroism. Don't get me wrong, the movie will probably be good, it's Nolan we're talking about, after all. It's just not my cup of tea. Ah, I've the feeling I'll end up watching it anyway ...
Riterdando the Dunkirk evacuation isn't taught about much outside of the UK, even though I live in the UK I wasn't taught about it either
One of my favorite trailers is the mission impossible fallout trailer. That song with those cuts. Amazing. I watched it so many times it always gets me hyped even since the movie came out
The Battlefield 5 War in the Pacific trailer absolutely slapped. I've rewatched that so many times
Marcus this is a masterpiece and I need more! I am hungry for this quality informative content!
The trailer for season 7 of the clone wars, with how it has the clones’ voiceovers and their helmets and all that. I haven’t actually watched all of the other seasons but that trailer makes me want to. It’s got so much hype lol.
Elizabeth Levesque totally agree
I was hoping someone would mention the Clone Wars. Starting from the season 4 finale, the Clone Wars has had a lot of amazing trailers.
There’s a clip from Star Wars Celebration where Dave Filoni announces season 7 and shows the trailer for the first time...so epic
I ADORE the Batman 2022 trailer. Classic song, little plot, no generic text, and AMAZING visuals even a voiceover of Batman himself. Just chef’s kiss
Damn, just the excerpt of the SW: TFA trailer had me shedding a tear because I remember being incredibly hyped for the first Star Wars movie to be released at a point in my life where I was already into the franchise and it's lore, and also because my hopes and expectations were ruined, not so much by no. 7 but by episodes 8&9
dead island. that reveal trailer is legendary
bjedo3 oooooooooo YES I remember that trailer
It was amazing
bjedo3 even though it showed no gameplay it is probably one of the best video game trailers I have seen.
good short film. bad trailer.
Yes! that is an amazing trailer!!!
The trailer for 1917 gets my heart pumping every time
It's so fucking good. The music, the setting, the fact that you get the plot of the movie while not realizing the main character or the twizt
Honestly the new Glass Onion teaser trailer is my favorite trailer i've seen in awhile, it just shows enough for me to be engage on it
The metro 2033 intro is incredible, and it really makes you feel for Artyom, the character you play as, after you see it and start the game.
The Mad Max Fury Road always gets me pumped even though ive seen the film over 15 times since it came out
Nestor Arranz fucking art.
Cosmonaut making fun of Homecoming now is funny considering he has gone on record saying it's probably his favorite MCU movies.
He's not making fun of the movie, he's making fun of the trailer.
The movie is good but the trailer spoils
the first into the spiderverse trailer was amazing, with all the deleted footage just to create hype
The trailer for the English-language release of Shin Godzilla is life-shatteringly good.
Mad Max Fury Road
Widows
Suicide Squad. Congratulations to this one because it made me think the movie is good.

Infinity war trailer
I legit get chills every time I watch it
Ur Comment made me watch it 😂
A stronger chill goes down my spine now that I've seen what he's capable of and is willing to do.
10 Cloverfield Lane - I watched that trailer dozens and dozens of times and had that song stuck in my head for weeks. Starting with that cheerful nostalgic music and ending with John Goodman frantically yelling “you’re going to get us all killed”. Getting goosebumps all over again.
Gotta say, the trailer for the new film ‘The Green Knight’ is pure eyegasms.
I hadn't seen a single star wars movie before the force awakens came out. The trailer was so good that it made me watch the entire star wars franchise
What ya think of Star Wars?
Indeed, did you enjoy it?
I relate so much to this.
Sammmeee
The guy hated Force Awakens so much he didn't even come back to reply. Relatable.
2nd Logan trailer, the one with Way Down We Go, is definitely one of my favorites.
even though I like Kaleo's song better than Johnny Cash's "Hurt", I have to admit, "Hurt" was more related to the story and tone of Logan
Yes, but the first was better....Johnny cash's 'hurt' is wayyyyy better
iBrow inc. The lyrics in Way Down We Go relate to the the story and tone as well, maybe not as much as Hurt though. Especially "They'll run you down" part.
In a lot of modern movie trailers the music matching to the beat perfectly close to the end is really satisfying !
I love that you had clips of the watchmen trailer! It was always one of my favorite trailers!
Now that Spiderman Homecoming is out, you weren't too far off. I thought that the trailer would ruin it but Spiderman is still a good movie
You can say whatever you want about the movie, but The Last Jedi trailer is soooooo good.
It’s hands down my favorite trailer ever
I fully agree (that the trailer was fantastic, personally I dislike the film, but I couldn't care less if you loved it)
@Milo Cullen-Wheeler yea same, but did u like the trailer? Kylos theme got to me lmao
Dude The Last Jedi trailer was actually amazing. Made the movie that much more disappointing. I spent 6 months watching and breaking down that trailer with my friends, getting all hyped for the movie, but then it came out and was the biggest disappointment I’ve ever experienced at the cinema
@@jackmanning1117 sorry bout that
I personally love how for the Far From Home trailer, they ride off the backlash from spoiling too much in the Homecomeing trailer.
The trailer for HBO’s Chernobyl is one of the most scary and amazing trailer
Selego totally. all you have to hear is the siren
@@sarikatimmi and this siren is what was played for people at that time which adds to chilling points.
To be fair the hulk being there part was one of the selling points of the movie
“Logan, you still have time” lives rent free in my head whenever I have a deadline
In my college class rigt now and this exact video is being used in my class for an analysis on how to make good trailers.
You're content is now college profgesor worthy cosmo
The SWTOR Cinematic trailers all of them
CrazyCam those are like movies though (almost like animated shorts). But they're fucking awesome
Not just that the cinematics are good they live up to the quality of other game company Cinematics like Blizzard and Bethesda
MMOs cinematic trailers in general are always insanely good. they really sell the game with those (the Warhammer online one is damn cool)
Amazing!!!
King Cameron agree, there are better then most Star Wars movies XD
I think recently 10 Cloverfield Lane had one of the best trailers out there.
That's a great example of effective use of music!
Awesome video man
One of your best episodes
You picked some fantastic trailers to dissect. Some of my favorites include:
Couldn't really care less about it now, but it was super effective following The Dark Knight Rises
3. Suicide Squad - Talk about an amazing trailer for an otherwise sucky movie. Bohemian Rhapsody was the perfect pairing for the trailer footage. If only the rest of the film had been as good.
more like the suicide squad official trailer with "the joke was on me" which fits the tone way better.
TheEdward320 thats what the tone of the movie SHOULD have been, but the movie was the later trailers
I agree the man of steel trailer was so fricking hype for me
The trailers for The Last Jedi are all absolute masterpieces
I know! Unluckily it became one of the most divisive films ever
Unlike the movie itself, unfortunately
And also the movie!
My favorite trailers so far have been the first BoTW 2 trailer, and the clone wars season 7 trailer. I love ones like this that just absolutely make you lose you sh*t.
Coming back to this a few years later:
The RWBY trailers consistently keep me invested every single time I go back to them, and I can't help but fall down that rabbit hole when I start one. Though considering their length, would they actually be trailers or more like actual episodes, or like anime OVA's?
my favorite is Logan's first trailer
i think the original Dead Island trailer ua-cam.com/video/ialZcLaI17Y/v-deo.html was particularly ambitious and ended up being more compelling than the game was.
THIIIIS
Perfect example of a beautiful trailer for a mediocre game, I remember watching this backwards and forwards when it came out.
Great example, peach pimp!
-- Dyl
Oh yeah, definitely one of the best trailers for a game. Pity the game was pretty much the exact opposite tone of what the trailer portrayed.
The trailer alone would make a great movie adaptation. A heartbreaking action horror movie.
The Darksiders 2 “Death Strikes” and “Last Sermon” trailers still give me chills to this day.
Looking back on this video it makes me think about the smash trailers and how different and yet amazing most of them are.
Matthew Friesen the post credits scene of ant man and the wasp shows that Scott Lang is alive
@@stupididiot6993 yeah but he was in tge quantum realm so we know he gets out
@@sdb3068 Thankfully they used different footage in the trailer to hide when he gets out of the quantum realm.
It’s scary how accurate your predictions on Spider-Man was!
It's scary how easy they made it
I mean... it wasn't really hard, the trailer literally spoiled it.
The trailer for furi sets my heart on fire and i love it more and more with every rewatch
@Maxi25554 They let us use the T.V's In the morning before school officially starts.
@Maxi25554 Is this slow enough?
The trailers for The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker are the greatest things ever
yet the movies are dissappointing
I’m so glad you mentioned the trailer for Botw, one of my favourite trailers of all time hands down
One of my favorite trailers of all time is for the movie Nightcrawler it builds up the tension so well I have seen the movie 3 times now but sometimes I still go back and watch the trailer and it's fantastic how much they expose you to this world without revealing the plot
I think the first Logan trailer is one of the best trailers ever made
Mistad852 that was beautiful 😢 I’ve watched it too many times!
agreed
I really like the Assassins creed trailers.
ACU is my favorite trailer of all time
probably up there with the best trailers ever...
My favourites ACR
Revelations!
GlitchCZ the game was ass but the trailer for unity was absolutely amazing
I still get chills whenever I watch the force awakens trailer
The best use of music to convey an emotion without any dialogue is always John Williams stuff, my favourite being binary sunset from Star Wars a new hope
the force awakens trailer still gives me chills and makes me want to go rewatch a star wars movie
Nightcrawler had an awesome trailer. I remember watching it over and over in 2014 waiting for it to come out, I was so ecstatic over it
I remember being brought to tears at the force awakens trailer
My favorite is probably the Godzilla trailer. It reveals very little, shows a visually intriguing intro (the Halo Jump, which ended up being my favorite scene) and obviously that Godzilla screech. The bad part i would say is that it doesn't have music and just relies on that army guy talking. Link to it here: ua-cam.com/video/QjKO10hKtYw/v-deo.html
There are a few trailers that really stand out in my eyes:
- Assassin's Creed Cinematic Trailers
- Moonlight Trailer (while it does reveal a lot of about the plot/protagonists, it does not reveal the true complexity of each character and moment, making their actual occurrences extremely impactful. It is so beautifully crafted that it influenced me to watch the film when it was release. It remains as one of my favorite films of all time -- and that is a list that I rarely update)
- Star Wars Trailers (the final products themselves have been a bit underwhelming, but the marketing is phenomenal)
- DC Extended Universe Trailers (DC's recent films have not been fantastic, but each trailer is so wonderfully crafted and edited that I can't help but feel pumped)
- Logan Teaser Trailer
- Mad Max Fury Road Trailers (The editing, score, and cinematography for the trailer and the film itself is outstanding.)
Agree. The Moonlight trailer is so brilliant.
Baie Rogers DCEU trailers have been really great except for that BvS Doomsday trailer. The Man of Steel "You Are Not Alone" trailer remains one of the best trailers I've seen in recent years.
AC trailers are honestly some of the best. I'm sad they haven't made a cinematic one for Origins yet.
The Halo 3 trailer will never leave my memory. I think that's the most hype I've ever felt or will ever again.
Good Time, The Lighthouse, and Vox Lux are some of my favorite trailers
The Force Awakens Trailer was truly, truly amazing. The single notes of music in the beginning, paired with vast and lonely surrounding, followed by an increase in intensity and nostalgia. mY GOD.
Say what you will about the movie but BvS Comic Con trailer was a masterpiece. Other BvS trailers were great too until they put doomsday in them.
Yeah, they really went too far with that scene.
Though I didn't find the trailers terribly exciting. In fact, I thought the movie was going to be lacking judging from the trailers.
Which did me well, considering I was very positively surprised when watching it. I didn't expect it to be one of those movies I'd watch multiple times over just to get everything (and piece together the information that some might argue the movie should have explained, but I loved this "detective work")
I think the second trailer for Man of Steel was way better. It hits the notes the film was going for perfectly.
slavik gurmeza honestly I loved that movie however I wish they would have used doomsday later in the justice league franchise it would have brought the justice league together and it would have been awesome to see all of the reactions of the heroes.
slavik gurmeza
I really enjoyed that movie tho ... people die ... and it has an effect on the story ! Thats so rare these days :(
By far the best "trailers" i've seen are the "meet the" short videos valve released of the team fortress 2 characters.
I like the Assassin's Creed Revaluations trailer and how it used Iron by Woodkid
Megat Ismail Revelations*
was thinking about it when he mentioned videogame trailers
That trailer was incredible, I could watch it a thousand times. Perfect song choice
Yes sir. Ghost Lights was fire. Extremely Appropriate.
Related, I really loved the Lorde song in the Paris AC trailer. Watched it many times. Too bad I never finished the game because it was so buggy and annoying.
Godzilla King the Monsters was probably my favorite trailer as a Godzilla fan this hyped me so much
My favorite trailer is the final trailer to Tenet. The visuals and music are next level.
ESV: Skyrim. To this day its the only trailer that I will rewatch after the advertised product has been released.
Josiah Matthews agreed. That dragonborn theme is so fucking iconic
