Ahsoka comes from a pretty powerful line of Jedi. Yoda himself trained Dooku, who went on to train Quigon, then on to Obi-Wan and finally Anakin Skywalker. Some of the most powerful characters in the Star Wars series in one master-apprentice line.
Jake Alter very true. She’s even dueled Yoda before. She lost of course but she did learn something. And I get the impression that he’s taught her many things before considering how close their dueling styles are. And she spent almost as much time with Obi-Wan as she did with Anakin. If Dooku was still a Jedi and Quigon was alive, she’d have two more powerful teachers.
I mean anyone who can kill an inquisitor without the use of a lightsaber, defeat two inquisitors at the same time, hold there own against Maul and Vader has the right to be called one of the most powerful force users.
Honestly Dooku was a trash Sith Lord, in my opinion. The only real damage he did was cutting off Anakin’ arm. Other than that, he’s just a nuisance. Comparing Ahsoka to Maul would give her far more justice

Ashoka's defense with lightsabers is pure Art. The way she deflected clone trooper blasters after order 66 and aimed them up to create a hole to escape through was Incredible and a thing of beauty born out of skillful mastery of deflection!
Reminded me of how she failed to deflect everyone of the assasin who came to kill padme, shots.. and the scene you described.. is the manifestation of her efforts.. to work and improve her blaster deflection mastery.
@@waldenboulevard8047 anakin was a form 5 djem so specialist which is geared for lightsaber combat, while he trained ahsoka in the shien variant which is for blaster deflection. Her style is a mixture of ataru (due to her smaller feminine stature) and shien which is why she’s so mobile.
Tbh I'd say she's top 5 of all the Jedi or sith from her lifetime. She was easily pressuring Vader and even some of the most bad ass force wielders couldn't. I mean I'd probably put galen marik above her if we talk the eu and canon but he had a harder time than ahsoka seemed to have fighting Vader even though he technically did win. His force abilities and creativity just out matches hers.

Ahsoka was one of the few people to have a battle with Vader that spanned as long as it did. Even when compared with many masters that faced him. Not to mention actually being one of the few to nearly kill him. So yeah, she was quite strong.

When she stopped Maul's shuttle from leaving and he put it into full burn and still couldn't move -that was the moment for me when I realized how powerful she had become.
And keep in mind she was only 17 then. Meaning she could become even more powerful, which she did in rebels. But she could become even more powerful since Togrutas can live up to 200 years, meaning even in rebels that isn’t her full potential.

Well, to be fair, she received her training in war, not in the temple. I feel like it's only natural her combat ability would improve drastically over a much shorter period of time compared to the masters who lived through (mostly) peaceful times.
This, although her actual force abilities would be rather limited since she never received anything past padawon level training. After order 66 she would have zero options to continue that training either........other then her own experimentation which would draw a lot of attention and break her cover. Much like Obi Wan became weaker.......she would have as well, but less due to age and more due to lack of training abilities. They just mary sued her a bit honestly.

When clone wars originally ended, the council granted her the title of knight so her skill level already rivals knights who aren't close to master level. Her last actions was taking out maul who was believed to be stronger and was since he was a trained sith however she accomplished the task. And she was able to sense order 66 and fight back something most jedis couldn't do. In the comics she killed inquistors with just the force so its not unreasonable for her to be as strong as she was. Sure she could have gotten weak over time but you have to realize darth maul was stronger than everyone in rebels by miles so asokha only competition would be him or vader.

Ashoka was also brought back to life with the essence of the daughter. One of the most powerful force users ever in canon. Thus her being a pure conduit for the light. I absolutely agree that she in on par with Dooku and Obi-Wan. Maybe even as combat prolific as Mace by Rebels.
My headcanon rejects those episodes. I think she is the purest conduit of the Force, itself, (as signified by purified kyber crystals) that doesn't concern itself with light sides and dark sides and Jedi or Sith, and she uses it to do right according to her own terms and not by anyone else's definitions. That's also why she is so powerful. She doesn't pick and choose which parts of the Force she wields, she lets the whole thing in. It's thematically significant that an apprentice of Anakin's should strike balance, as that is his destiny, even though he goes about it in unexpected ways, such as wiping out the Jedi and engendering physical and intellectual independence in his apprentice.
I would say the daughter did enhance ahsoka force abilities and all that, combining the fact that she fought very powerful fows, trained by the chosen one and other masters, had a whole ass order bro by the time we get to return she probably top 3 most powerful.

It's also important to note that the Jedi had to promote a ton of Jedi because of the heavy casualties in the Clone Wars. And the drastically different circumstances didn't really leave time for much formal ceremony and nonstop training and meditation like before, so the Jedi were forced to change their standards. Note: I'm not downing Ahsoka here, I'm just explaining her promotion speed.

Ahsoka was able to survive - and sometimes go toe to toe - multiple times against the likes of Ventress, Grievous, and Maul -- fighters that have been able to top Jedi masters in battle. She deserves her place, they just officially ranked her up faster than other Jedi before the war.

Even if they never actually come out and say how powerful Ahsoka is, I've always assumed she was one of the most powerful Jedi of the age. When she first becomes Anakins Padawan: it was Obi-wan that had requested a new Padawan. In the conversation between Obi and Anakin it's revealed that "Pride: is becoming more common amongst the Padawan with advanced abilities." Then, even though he didn't want one. It was implied she was placed with Anakin (the MOST powerful) to kind of fight said pride. Which she was able to keep up with him right from the start. Plus for at least the first year of the Clone Wars people constantly think she's a youngling, implying she's not really even old enough to be a Padawan. Anyway, I always assumed she was top tier: maybe not Anakin or Yoda level, but right under.
You’re a true Star Wars fan and you understand Ahsoka’s power level based on the context of the show. People always say she’s weak because she loses to Grievous or Ventress. But they forget that Ahsoka in the beginning of TCW is barely older than a youngling, and her abilities were so advanced that even Anakin, the Chosen One himself, said he forgot how young she was. When Ahsoka engaged Maul in TCW, she was still only 17 (to put into perspective, Padawan Kenobi fought Maul when he was 25). She’s powerful because she was the chosen padawan for the chosen one. Logically, there’s no way a weak apprentice could keep up with one of the most powerful Jedi of all time. Ahsoka deserves every ounce of the power she has and deserves so much more credit than she receives.

She is a prodigy from a very young age, very skilled, but prideful (at first) and over confident. She was selected for Anakin since they have so much in common and both of them protecting one another means they are both less likely to get killed. (Asoka and Anakin both take less risks when with each other)
Right, and lets not forget that there is a lot more than force power or saber duels that makes for effective warriors. For Obiwan, i see it really his unflappable patience in tough situations that give him an edge against opponents who are arguably more powerful than him. For Ahsoka it was her ability to think so quickly on her feet, combined with awesome agility. That's how i read them anyway. For Anakin... meh... he's just the Chosen One, and needs nothing beyond that :)
Personally, I place her just a very slight tick below Vader. I think she is above every Jedi at this point, simply due to the fact that she isn't a Jedi. She defeats an inquisitor without a lightsaber, speaks through the force while she is still alive, gives Vader trouble in a duel, absorbs and deflects force fire from the Emperor, and her species has the ability to have a heightened sense of spatial awareness.
And i would agree that is a fair point to make. Ahsoka not being a Jedi makes her a dangerous opponent because she is also likely to be less predictable.
In the animated clone wars movie, Obi-Wan does note when she arrives that she "is just a youngling". Now I'm not sure who the youngest padawan ever was...but it does say something that Yoda saw enough potential in her, even as a youngling, to be assigned to Anakin
They say the student always surpasses the master...I’ve never been shy to say Ashoka is up there in the Top 5...if they really make this sequel series to Rebels exploring more and more of Ashoka character in her prime I have no doubt most people will come to the same conclusion

@@solen5529 Ahsoka wouldn't lose to Rey, and I think many would argue that Ahsoka is on par, or above Luke. Remember that by the time of the Mandalorian and Ahsoka series, Ahsoka is very much still in her prime. And if canon stays true to the Ahsoka novels, she spends a good few years in the Sith temple after leaving the world between worlds. By the time of ROS, I wouldn't find it hard to believe that her knowledge of the force would rival that of Yoda or Qui-Gon, and a lightsaber prowess easily on par with the upper echelon, the likes of Vader, Yoda, Palpatine, etc. But what makes Ahsoka most formidable is her balance in the force, she is the near epitimy of balance. She has vast knowledge of both the light and dark side of the force, and it would be reasonable to assume she is able to freely use dark side force abilities, and maybe even make use of lightsaber forms that make use of the dark side such as form 7. If we are talking about Rebels Ahsoka, then I would argue top 10, maybe 5th. But current Mandalorian Ahsoka, and future iterations, easily top 5.

That does make sense and it does explain her rather incredulous ability with the force. She is trained by thrbnost skilled Jedi but I never thought of her as naturally gifted in the Force like Anakin and Yoda.

I have always been a huge fan of Ashoka and she'll always be my favorite. Though I agree she would never be able to save Anakin but she went toe to toe with Maul, Vader, survived order 66, escaped Sidious and I can go on and on. Ashoka is the best.
@@PsyopXD not all inquisitors are fitness padawans. Some Were temple guards and i believe one of two knights but most were padawans. And she not only held her own against maul and Vader, she actually pressured them both massively.
Inquisitors were never meant to be powerful there are meant to be expendable it's not that impressive for her to take down two inquisitors with that being said I really like Ahsoka she's a great character but no she's not on par with dooku or Obi-Wan! Maul isn't all that special either

Her power makes allot of sense. As well as her experience, she does have that connection with the Daughter, which must have an impact as well. I think its quite likely shes ahead of someone like Dooku or Kenobi; especially by the "Ahsoka the White" era. She may even surpass Luke at that point due to her training and experience, if not her absolute power.

Though what's interesting is that, while we know that Morai is either the Daughter or some sort of avatar of her (like the owl is the symbol of the Greek Goddess Athena), we don't know what connection she share with Ahsoka (aside from the fact that the Daughter transferred what remained of her life force to Ahsoka, and that Morai follows Ahsoka everywhere, and will apparently do anything to protect her, like she did with opening the Malachor portal in the World between Worlds). Also, I'd wager that post Rebels Ahsoka as we see her in the finale may be even more powerful than she ws during the time of the Rebellion. Though again, we don't know what she went through, but it's probably related to what Filoni showed us in the Topp cards released after Twilight of the Apprentice.
Pierre Braud it could be morai is the watcher for ahsoka and the daughters power lives inside ahsoka being the light and being there for everyone and her family, plus the daughters power might even help slow her aging down and keep her from dying even in the sequel trilogy and rise of skywalker And I agree she might have become something greater and more powerful at the end of rebels that could keep her around without aging so much and she can be there for her loved ones, hopefully we will get to see that in the next animated series

Obi wan may not be the most powerful with strength and brute Force, but he always is more wise, and he uses his intelligence to win every battle, and his defense is THE best, while Anakin is the chosen one, so it makes sense,

So if anything, it is Obi-Wan who would beat Ahsoka
You forgot to mention why she was picked as Skywalker's apprentice. (Because she had so much power and potential and skill at an early age, just like him)
She fought Maul, Vader, and Palpatine in a son of 30 minutes. What I love about Ahsoka is she went from an annoying naive character and turned into a great character many root for and appreciate. She has character development. And she doesn’t always win, which is something that makes you root for her even more. She lost to Vader in the end, and couldn’t fend off Sidious. Yet she is badass, and a character many can enjoy. She left the order and is a force user outside the Jedi/Sith dichotomy.
I think the one of the reasons ashoka is so powerful was that she got poisoned by the son and healed by the daughter so she got a little bit of both of them in her and thats why shes also a grey jedi because she has darkness and light inside her.
Ahsoka was regarded as being one of the most inherently powerful Jedi in the order by Yoda, iirc. She was so talented and skilled as a youngling that they allowed her to become a Padawan at a younger age than most (Padawans were generally >13+ years of age. Even so, 13 years is considered very young for a Padawan). Even in her early career, she assisted against Asajj Ventress (who at the time in Legends defeated Kit Fisto and was a match for most Jedi Masters, and even Council Masters). It's very likely that if Ahsoka were to theoretically fall to the dark-side (talking about her Season 5 version), she would have grown in power so much that she would be superior to most of the Inquisitors. Considering that it was confirmed only the 2 Sith Lords (Vader and Sidious) are the only two in the Empire capable of matching and defeating Ahsoka during Rebels, it should go as no surprise that she is at least as powerful and skilled as a Council Master such as Eeth Koth, or even to the level of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Even Jedi Masters were hardly a threat alone to Vader in his early career, yet Ahsoka was capable of matching him, albeit for a brief period before being pressured back. Also, something i disagree with in the video is how "Vader handily defeated Eeth Koth". It was actually not an easy battle for Vader, as shown when their battle actually went on for several minutes and Koth actually appeared to damage Vader and pressure him in more than one instance of the fight. Koth only lost due to giving up upon seeing his child in the hands of the Inquisitors--granted Vader clearly would have won the battle sooner or later. I'd put Ahsoka (Rebels) somewhere along the lines of being an equal to the likes of Eeth Koth in light-saber combat, and perhaps stronger than him with the force, but not by a big gap.
Ahsoka is literally the living force, like she is the force. The sister gave ahsoka her life thus Murai the owl follows her, placing her with dooku is an understatement as she’s literally the light side of the force :P
that need some thinking... Some jedis died way easily in the movies compared to what snips did to survived. In the movies logic, she would have died but in the anime version, i can see how kam or plo koon would have survived too. That's open to debate of course because it's pure speculation

Most of the Jedi who died were assassinated, surrounded by clones with their guard completely down. The only ones who survived the initial round weren't immediately in range of the clones or had some kind of warning. Obi-Wan was shot at from a distance, Yoda felt the others being killed across the galaxy and sensed something was up, and Rex's experience with Fives gave him enough self-awareness of what was happening to warn Ahsoka before he was overcome by the chip. So there's not really a correlation between strength and survival, it was mostly luck.

Am currently re watching clone wars and even Anakin states to the Jedi Council her ability’s are ahead than most Jedi! So of course she grew even more stronger she always was able to hold her own!
What's good is if they just keep making her more powerful with time. Like, that's the way things should be. She gets more experience, she trains for longer, she becomes more powerful. This is the way. I love it. It's great that Anakin's padawan lives through all this shit and survives and eventually grows to be incredibly powerful. That's a great story and what, I think, we'd all love to see play out over the years.

She outclassed a Couple council members when she was up against the clones she deflected more bolts than kiadi mundi but i will say obi mace and yoda are superior obi wan probably is less attuned to the force than her but obi wan i think would win because of his mastery of form 3 obi wan probably did the most damage to vader of any jedi
To be fair, most jedi were literally caught off guard before they react. And ki-adi-mundi had a whole firing squad on him. Ahsoka blocking laser bolts is cool and all but she almost dies later in that same episode from it

Ahsoka is the best example of how to long term build up a character. She’s had more development on screen that characters like: Luke, Anakin and Obi Wan. Like I believe her skills and caught off by anything in the finale. Perfectly built in my opinion

I think her connection with the daughter has something to do with this. I feel like something else was also transferred when the daughter gave Ahsoka her remaining life force. Ahsoka was literally reborn in the light, she resembles the light side in my opinion. And after that episode it seems like she’s gotten more skilled and powerful throughout the series. She’s protected by the daughter. I think Ahsoka will be something more than just a Jedi, she just gets better and better, her potential as of right now is beyond. She’s my favorite character and Jedi, she definitely earned her spot on the high list. After all she was trained and taught by some of the best jedis ever known and by the chosen one.
I understand the sentiment that she has grown powerful and very powerful in fact, however dooku would destroy her in a lightsaber duel simply due to his mastery of form 2 a form DEDICATED to lightsaber fighting, and as far as force power levels, as a jedi master, he was known as one of the greatest among them let alone when he becomes a sith. All this to say comparing the 2 I think is incorrect, a comparison with obi- wan or plo koon (he was known as a great combatant) is a better and more accurate comparison
We still don’t know what happened with her and the true extent of her powers after the daughter revived her. She could very well possibly be the physical embodiment of the light side. If this is the case she may have the potential of yoda as in legends atleast her species could live to 200 years if they where force sensitive
I think it is hard to gauge really, the true powers of Ashoka the white, in terms of force use......and Dooku used alot of force powers when he dueled. But saber to saber.....I think rebels Ashoka is able to hold her own against Dooku.
She grew up fighting more every month than peace time Jedi did every year. One year of war for her was the equivalent combat experience of 12 years of peacetime training. She is born of war. Of course she is so powerful.
There are so many things going on, for sure the Jedi order through the guidance of the council totally lost their way of what it was to be a Jedi knight and one with the force. With that said, they were all breathtakingly manipulated by the chancellor aka Sidious. I think when Ahsoka left the order, her journeys gave her clarity and understanding and she found her true path..., even though she left the order, she was more truly a Jedi. You’re assessment of Her having Anakin as a teacher is spot on, but don’t forget, she was around some of the best , Yoda, Obi Wan, clone captain/commander Rex, the librarian, and Plo Koon through which she learned and absorbed wisdom, patience, strategical thinking and letting go.
For Yoda to place her with the "Chosen One" Ani means she must have high levels the Midi-chlorian (which is the intelligent microscope life-form that lived symbiotically inside the cells of all living things. When present in sufficient numbers, they could allow their host to detect the pervasive energy field known as the Force) that means they are strong with force and be trained to be a strong Jedi... Since they do not give the levels of every Jedi and Padawan.... The answer I want to say is to pair him with a weak student in war time is like giving him and being with a severe handicap... the levels are the main guide to how good they are and become...Qui-Gon Jinn in the movie use the level of the Midi-chlorian as his guide to find the strongest one with force Anakin as child.... And why would you be released at 14 to be trained to be a fighter when Anakin was a little older when he was released 18 ??? of more.. I know there is an open war going on but who does that unless you are a Nazi Dictator!!!!
With Star Wars blowing up the power of everyone, it's hard to assess power levels now a days, and we just gotta take accept them as is. I expect her power to be raised quite a bit more as content continues to be developed for her, and I'm not even mad as she is one of the best characters in Star Wars, probably the best developed character right next to Anakin.
Apparently there is a perception issue regarding Ahsoka and her force power. When she first appeared on the scene there were pointers to her strength in the force, firstly Plokoon was able to sense her while still being outside Shillis' orbit. Ahsoka was able to sense that the first person to come for her, claiming to be a Jedi was in fact a slaver and refused to leave with him. Then Yoda sent her to Anakin to be his Padawan, at the age of 14yrs which is apparently some what young for a Padawan. Two reasons were given for this, one being her force power being far in advance of her youngling peers, we see evidence of this on her first mission with Anakin when she pulls a wall down to destroy a mob of droids surrounding Anakin, a feat not possible for a normal 14yr old force user. The second reason she was placed with Anakin is because of her reckless, rebellious nature. Further, how could she have kept up with Anakin if she was not as strong in the force as she was.
Scaling wise it makes sense, she fought Maul on near equal terms. Jeremy Barlow the author of SOD placed Maul's power below that of Vader and even Dooku but he also said that Maul would beat Dooku 6/10 times because of his won't quit till he's out mentality. And Maul got even more powerful in Rebels (since he's only in his 50's, and Mace was only 50 and kicking ass Hell Dooku was 83 kicking kenobis ass) so Its likely that by Rebels Maul powerwise is above Dooku and then you have Ahsoka dueling equally with that maul (she also got alot stronger so that adds more proof that maul is also stronger) and then she holds her own against Vader. As much as I respect Dooku, I don't see Dooku doing as well against Vader as Ahsoka.
also ahsoka is using djem-so, and djem-so is a great counter for makashi, she has advantage against dooku, unlike obi-wan has with soresu, as well as maul has advantage because juyo is physically can overpower makashi, just like savage opress disarmed dooku before
Its also worth noting that Dooku was only in his dark side prime for a very short period of time (That same period he held his own against Yoda twice) But by ROTS he was pretty worn out. So Dooku is overall tricky to rank. I do agree that Maul certainly surpassed ROTS Dooku by rebels. I'd say maybe equal to or very slightly above the Dooku that went head to head with Yoda. I think Dooku came to the dark side much too late in life, whereas Maul has basked in it since he was a baby, so Maul is probably more comfy in the dark side too. Dooku never seemed all that inclined to tap the dark side too deeply in fights, his old jedi self-discipline never fully left him, plus dark side physical degradation was risky at his age.
Of course she’s massively powerful. I mean she held her own against Maul, defeating him. She defeated two inquisitors at the same time, defeated an inquisitor and turned his lightsabers from red to white, she held her own against Vader and outwits multiple enemies. She honestly is amazing. She is one of the characters I point when I talk to people about how to write a good character. She had a great evolution, realistic characteristics, and she has great power growth.

I would honestly put TCW Ahsoka just above Obi-wan ROTS and in Rebels neck and neck with Dooku maybe even higher (Vader was amped on Malachor when fighting Ahsoka, as it is a dark side force nexus), though I would also put Maul on the same tier as Ahsoka and Dooku.
And yet Disney’s failure with the sequels pointed at by their failure to include her in any of the three at all. Think it would have been a much better story if Asoka. Luke’s father’s padawan the one whom convinces him back out his isolation. But they came up with a noname nobody that they kept a no-name nobody for almost three full movies. Ya good choice Disney. If that doesn't support firing of Kathleen Kennedy before she makes further legacy killings to Star Wars.
I'd rather have Kathleen Kennedy butcher a character we don't know than kill one we all love. Let's be honest. If Ahsoka was in the sequels, it would have probably ruined her for a lot of us. Disney just can't get it right.

If live-action Ahsoka gets in a light saber fight, I fear we'll be very disappointed. If they can find a stunt double that can do her animated character's skill justice, it would be a miracle.
She is clearly higher than the inquisitors and up there with many of the top Jedi, but she is not on the Kenobi, Dooku, Windu level and it makes sense for her to be on this level after the clone wars and into rebel times. I think she is best kept on the tier slightly below around the Plo Koon, Kit Fisto level clearly very skilled and nicely developed.
In most of Clone Wars no. Then again at 19 Anakin and Obi-Wan got trounced by Dooku in episode 2. So I wouldn’t expect CW era Ahsoka to match Dooku. Rebels era however would trounce Dooku. At that point she would be at her physical peak and have had another 15 years to master her combat style. She would nearly match him for skill but would actually win by wearing him down with speed and endurance. Eventually he would tire and make a fatal mistake. This is exactly how Anakin beat Dooku in ep3. Dooku was still more skilled but he simply could not keep up with Anakins speed and strength.

I could see the matured Ahsoka in Rebels being able to defeat Dooku (even at his physical prime), if not at the very least holding her own until they were both exhausted and/or he was pressured to retreat. She may never have been Anakin's equal in raw power, but was trained by him and honed her skills throughout the Clone Wars, quickly gaining a lot of experience for her young age. Add to that the years she trained further after Order 66, and she'd easily be at the level of a veteran Master. Moreover, she fought multiple times against Ventress who was trained by Dooku and used the same (albeit, less refined) lightsaber style mixed with duel-wielding. Dooku's decades of experience & skill in the Dark Side would certainly be a challenge, especially his Sith lightning. Considering Anakin & Obi-Wan's experience from battling the Count, however, they'd have undoubtedly warned Ahsoka about this ability at least once and advised her on how to block it in case she ever encountered a user of it. As powerful as Sith lightning is, especially in the hands of someone like Palpatine, any competent Force user can potentially evade or defend against it.
I see a battle between Ahsoka Tano and Darth Tyranus ending as a draw, or when one retreats. I place them both as High Tier 8’s in lightsaber combat. A level below Mace Windu, who is on the border line between Tier 8 and Tier 9. But two or so levels above Darth Maul, who I consider to be a low-mid Tier 8. Ahsoka and Darth Tyranus each prove that they can last for most of a minute against a mid-Tier 9 duelist: Darth Vader and Yoda respectively. And if those Tier 9 duelists were holding back, it was by the same amount for the same reason: they both were facing their once Jedi Padawan. Each proves to have the speed to last against a Tier 9 duelist, with Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader ultimately overwhelming each of these duelists through sheer strength. Both of them are graceful, dexterous, deft, and refined duelists. Ahsoka emphasizing a bit more speed with her saber swings while Tyranus emphasizes a bit more precision and fencing tricks with his lightsaber. However, Tyranus’ definitely will contend evenly with Ahsoka’s speed. And Ahsoka has held her own against the ultimate precision master in Darth Vader, proving that she won’t fall for Tyranus’ deft techniques - such as what the Sith Lord pulled against Obi-Wan Kenobi in _Star Wars: Attack of the Clones._ In the arena of the Force, Tyranus has an edge in that his offensive powers have greater breadth and depth. But a breathless and faint Ahsoka managed to deflect Darth Sidious’ Force Fire. Though it should be noted the Emperor was only halfway in the realm Ahsoka was in, if she could deflect Force *Fire* with the Force, she can deflect Force Lightning. It’s much more direct and familiar. Not to mention that Darth Tyranus prefers to engage in lightsaber combat *anyways.* The two times he opened with Force powers was A.) When Anakin left an opening that he couldn’t *not* exploit, and B.) When he wanted to prove his power to his former Jedi Master. So who would win? Good gracious me, I would cast my bets for Darth Tyranus. But it would be as risky a bit as you could take in a match up against two Star Wars characters. It really can go either way. And it would probably take a similar amount of time as Darth Vader vs Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar.
This absolutely makes sense. Being 15 during a time like the Clone Wars and honing your skills through it would undoubtedly make you grow in ability much quicker than normal. Plus the 10 years after the war. There’s no doubt in my mind she’d become quite powerful

She was taught by Anakin Skywalker, and fought during the clone wars. She’s gone toe to toe with Darth Vader, and Darth Maul, and was even able to best him.
I've enjoyed watching her progression since the animated Clone Wars movie that introduced her. Starting off with a cute with an innocent wit, supporting role, to the trials and struggles of her time under Skywalker, the feels when and why she left the Jedi and then her beautifully articulated style and level of matured personality towards the end. You almost feel like you are growing up with her, like from the talents of a good author. I would put her on the list of characters that also gave a sense of peace and hope when in her presence...and to me, that is in itself has earned her the rank of master! My only criticism is her physical design, dont hate me but it always reminded me of toad from Mario bros. :P
I agree with you 100%. This might make sense, she left the order...we don't know what she did in that off time between her leaving and her return. In that time frame, she could have been training in the force her way without having to be restricted by the Jedi code. That gave her some leeway as to what she learned. She reminds me more of Qui-Gon in this sense. Qui-Gon did things his way, despite what the council said, but with her, she didn't have to answer to the council. I think it expanded her knowledge without the restrictions.

Ahsoka comes from a pretty powerful line of Jedi. Yoda himself trained Dooku, who went on to train Quigon, then on to Obi-Wan and finally Anakin Skywalker. Some of the most powerful characters in the Star Wars series in one master-apprentice line.

And I get the impression that he’s taught her many things before considering how close their dueling styles are. And she spent almost as much time with Obi-Wan as she did with Anakin. Ashoka's defense with lightsabers is pure Art. The way she deflected clone trooper blasters after order 66 and aimed them up to create a hole to escape through was Incredible and a thing of beauty born out of skillful mastery of deflection!

@@waldenboulevard8047 anakin was a form 5 djem so specialist which is geared for lightsaber combat, while he trained ahsoka in the shien variant which is for blaster deflection.
Her style is a mixture of ataru (due to her smaller feminine stature) and shien which is why she’s so mobile.
The Siege of Mandalore arc showed the progression of her skill . She was comfortable in her which naturally makes stronger in the force.
And the daughter is by her side... I think that is super cool

Tbh I'd say she's top 5 of all the Jedi or sith from her lifetime. She was easily pressuring Vader and even some of the most bad ass force wielders couldn't. I mean I'd probably put galen marik above her if we talk the eu and canon but he had a harder time than ahsoka seemed to have fighting Vader even though he technically did win. His force abilities and creativity just out matches hers.

Ahsoka was one of the few people to have a battle with Vader that spanned as long as it did. Even when compared with many masters that faced him. Not to mention actually being one of the few to nearly kill him. So yeah, she was quite strong.

When she stopped Maul's shuttle from leaving and he put it into full burn and still couldn't move -that was the moment for me when I realized how powerful she had become.
And keep in mind she was only 17 then. Meaning she could become even more powerful, which she did in rebels. But she could become even more powerful since Togrutas can live up to 200 years, meaning even in rebels that isn’t her full potential.

@@DeanGulberry69 I remember when it first came out the fandom was conflicted as they thought both Ahsoka and maul were a little overpowered in those episodes but the way I see it maul is arguably around Dooku level and he arguably peaked at that point and Ahsoka was most likely stronger after her trip to mortis both should have been able to have those feats
She got more powerful in exile because she shifted her alignment and wasn't affected by the dark side shift in the force.
Well, to be fair, she received her training in war, not in the temple. I feel like it's only natural her combat ability would improve drastically over a much shorter period of time compared to the masters who lived through (mostly) peaceful times.
This, although her actual force abilities would be rather limited since she never received anything past padawon level training. After order 66 she would have zero options to continue that training either........other then her own experimentation which would draw a lot of attention and break her cover. Much like Obi Wan became weaker.......she would have as well, but less due to age and more due to lack of training abilities. They just mary sued her a bit honestly.

When clone wars originally ended, the council granted her the title of knight so her skill level already rivals knights who aren't close to master level. Her last actions was taking out maul who was believed to be stronger and was since he was a trained sith however she accomplished the task. And she was able to sense order 66 and fight back something most jedis couldn't do. In the comics she killed inquistors with just the force so its not unreasonable for her to be as strong as she was. Sure she could have gotten weak over time but you have to realize darth maul was stronger than everyone in rebels by miles so asokha only competition would be him or vader.

And she just got more and more powerfull over the years! By the time of The Mandalorian, I believe she is the most powerull force user in Star Wars.
Ashoka was also brought back to life with the essence of the daughter. One of the most powerful force users ever in canon. Thus her being a pure conduit for the light. I absolutely agree that she in on par with Dooku and Obi-Wan. Maybe even as combat prolific as Mace by Rebels.
My headcanon rejects those episodes. I think she is the purest conduit of the Force, itself, (as signified by purified kyber crystals) that doesn't concern itself with light sides and dark sides and Jedi or Sith, and she uses it to do right according to her own terms and not by anyone else's definitions. That's also why she is so powerful. She doesn't pick and choose which parts of the Force she wields, she lets the whole thing in. It's thematically significant that an apprentice of Anakin's should strike balance, as that is his destiny, even though he goes about it in unexpected ways, such as wiping out the Jedi and engendering physical and intellectual independence in his apprentice.
I would say the daughter did enhance ahsoka force abilities and all that, combining the fact that she fought very powerful fows, trained by the chosen one and other masters, had a whole ass order bro by the time we get to return she probably top 3 most powerful.

It's also important to note that the Jedi had to promote a ton of Jedi because of the heavy casualties in the Clone Wars. And the drastically different circumstances didn't really leave time for much formal ceremony and nonstop training and meditation like before, so the Jedi were forced to change their standards. Note: I'm not downing Ahsoka here, I'm just explaining her promotion speed.

Ahsoka was able to survive - and sometimes go toe to toe - multiple times against the likes of Ventress, Grievous, and Maul -- fighters that have been able to top Jedi masters in battle. Even if they never actually come out and say how powerful Ahsoka is, I've always assumed she was one of the most powerful Jedi of the age. When she first becomes Anakins Padawan: it was Obi-wan that had requested a new Padawan. In the conversation between Obi and Anakin it's revealed that "Pride: is becoming more common amongst the Padawan with advanced abilities." Then, even though he didn't want one. It was implied she was placed with Anakin (the MOST powerful) to kind of fight said pride. Which she was able to keep up with him right from the start. Plus for at least the first year of the Clone Wars people constantly think she's a youngling, implying she's not really even old enough to be a Padawan. Anyway, I always assumed she was top tier: maybe not Anakin or Yoda level, but right under.
You’re a true Star Wars fan and you understand Ahsoka’s power level based on the context of the show. People always say she’s weak because she loses to Grievous or Ventress. But they forget that Ahsoka in the beginning of TCW is barely older than a youngling, and her abilities were so advanced that even Anakin, the Chosen One himself, said he forgot how young she was. When Ahsoka engaged Maul in TCW, she was still only 17 (to put into perspective, Padawan Kenobi fought Maul when he was 25). She’s powerful because she was the chosen padawan for the chosen one. Logically, there’s no way a weak apprentice could keep up with one of the most powerful Jedi of all time. Ahsoka deserves every ounce of the power she has and deserves so much more credit than she receives.

She is a prodigy from a very young age, very skilled, but prideful (at first) and over confident. She was selected for Anakin since they have so much in common and both of them protecting one another means they are both less likely to get killed. (Asoka and Anakin both take less risks when with each other)
Right, and lets not forget that there is a lot more than force power or saber duels that makes for effective warriors. For Obiwan, i see it really his unflappable patience in tough situations that give him an edge against opponents who are arguably more powerful than him. For Ahsoka it was her ability to think so quickly on her feet, combined with awesome agility. That's how i read them anyway. For Anakin... meh... he's just the Chosen One, and needs nothing beyond that :)

Personally, I place her just a very slight tick below Vader. I think she is above every Jedi at this point, simply due to the fact that she isn't a Jedi. She defeats an inquisitor without a lightsaber, speaks through the force while she is still alive, gives Vader trouble in a duel, absorbs and deflects force fire from the Emperor, and her species has the ability to have a heightened sense of spatial awareness.
And i would agree that is a fair point to make. Ahsoka not being a Jedi makes her a dangerous opponent because she is also likely to be less predictable.

@@solen5529 Ahsoka wouldn't lose to Rey, and I think many would argue that Ahsoka is on par, or above Luke. Remember that by the time of the Mandalorian and Ahsoka series, Ahsoka is very much still in her prime. And if canon stays true to the Ahsoka novels, she spends a good few years in the Sith temple after leaving the world between worlds. By the time of ROS, I wouldn't find it hard to believe that her knowledge of the force would rival that of Yoda or Qui-Gon, and a lightsaber prowess easily on par with the upper echelon, the likes of Vader, Yoda, Palpatine, etc. But what makes Ahsoka most formidable is her balance in the force, she is the near epitimy of balance. She has vast knowledge of both the light and dark side of the force, and it would be reasonable to assume she is able to freely use dark side force abilities, and maybe even make use of lightsaber forms that make use of the dark side such as form 7. If we are talking about Rebels Ahsoka, then I would argue top 10, maybe 5th. But current Mandalorian Ahsoka, and future iterations, easily top 5.

I have always been a huge fan of Ashoka and she'll always be my favorite. Though I agree she would never be able to save Anakin but she went toe to toe with Maul, Vader, survived order 66, escaped Sidious and I can go on and on. Ashoka is the best.

Her power makes allot of sense. As well as her experience, she does have that connection with the Daughter, which must have an impact as well. I think its quite likely shes ahead of someone like Dooku or Kenobi; especially by the "Ahsoka the White" era. She may even surpass Luke at that point due to her training and experience, if not her absolute power.

She won everytime, and could use the force just after she learned that it existed. If that doesn't make her a mary sue, then people are actually deadass blind. Ep 9 takes place roughly a year after ep 8, which is fine for some training (remember that leia trained her, so i'm pretty sure that the training wasn't as effective as it could've been with luke).
Ep 2 takes place 10 years after ep 1, and ep 3 takes place 3 years after ep 2, so anakin is perfectly fine. Rey's just a shitty written character.

Though what's interesting is that, while we know that Morai is either the Daughter or some sort of avatar of her (like the owl is the symbol of the Greek Goddess Athena), we don't know what connection she share with Ahsoka (aside from the fact that the Daughter transferred what remained of her life force to Ahsoka, and that Morai follows Ahsoka everywhere, and will apparently do anything to protect her, like she did with opening the Malachor portal in the World between Worlds).
Also, I'd wager that post Rebels Ahsoka as we see her in the finale may be even more powerful than she ws during the time of the Rebellion. Though again, we don't know what she went through, but it's probably related to what Filoni showed us in the Topp cards released after Twilight of the Apprentice.

What I love about Ahsoka is she went from an annoying naive character and turned into a great character many root for and appreciate.
She has character development.
And she doesn’t always win, which is something that makes you root for her even more.
She lost to Vader in the end, and couldn’t fend off Sidious.
Yet she is badass, and a character many can enjoy. She left the order and is a force user outside the Jedi/Sith dichotomy.

I think the one of the reasons ashoka is so powerful was that she got poisoned by the son and healed by the daughter so she got a little bit of both of them in her and thats why shes also a grey jedi because she has darkness and light inside her.

Ahsoka was regarded as being one of the most inherently powerful Jedi in the order by Yoda, iirc. She was so talented and skilled as a youngling that they allowed her to become a Padawan at a younger age than most (Padawans were generally >13+ years of age. Even so, 13 years is considered very young for a Padawan).
Even in her early career, she assisted against Asajj Ventress (who at the time in Legends defeated Kit Fisto and was a match for most Jedi Masters, and even Council Masters). It's very likely that if Ahsoka were to theoretically fall to the dark-side (talking about her Season 5 version), she would have grown in power so much that she would be superior to most of the Inquisitors.
Considering that it was confirmed only the 2 Sith Lords (Vader and Sidious) are the only two in the Empire capable of matching and defeating Ahsoka during Rebels, it should go as no surprise that she is at least as powerful and skilled as a Council Master such as Eeth Koth, or even to the level of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Even Jedi Masters were hardly a threat alone to Vader in his early career, yet Ahsoka was capable of matching him, albeit for a brief period before being pressured back.
Also, something i disagree with in the video is how "Vader handily defeated Eeth Koth". It was actually not an easy battle for Vader, as shown when their battle actually went on for several minutes and Koth actually appeared to damage Vader and pressure him in more than one instance of the fight. Koth only lost due to giving up upon seeing his child in the hands of the Inquisitors--granted Vader clearly would have won the battle sooner or later.
I'd put Ahsoka (Rebels) somewhere along the lines of being an equal to the likes of Eeth Koth in light-saber combat, and perhaps stronger than him with the force, but not by a big gap.

Most of the Jedi who died were assassinated, surrounded by clones with their guard completely down. The only ones who survived the initial round weren't immediately in range of the clones or had some kind of warning. Obi-Wan was shot at from a distance, Yoda felt the others being killed across the galaxy and sensed something was up, and Rex's experience with Fives gave him enough self-awareness of what was happening to warn Ahsoka before he was overcome by the chip. So there's not really a correlation between strength and survival, it was mostly luck.

Am currently re watching clone wars and even Anakin states to the Jedi Council her ability’s are ahead than most Jedi! So of course she grew even more stronger she always was able to hold her own!
What's good is if they just keep making her more powerful with time. Like, that's the way things should be. She gets more experience, she trains for longer, she becomes more powerful. This is the way. I love it. It's great that Anakin's padawan lives through all this shit and survives and eventually grows to be incredibly powerful. That's a great story and what, I think, we'd all love to see play out over the years.

clone wars only took 3 years in canon between Ep II and III. she is 13-14 in S1 of The Clone Wars. which puts her at 16-17

She outclassed a Couple council members when she was up against the clones she deflected more bolts than kiadi mundi but i will say obi mace and yoda are superior obi wan probably is less attuned to the force than her but obi wan i think would win because of his mastery of form 3 obi wan probably did the most damage to vader of any jedi
To be fair, most jedi were literally caught off guard before they react. And ki-adi-mundi had a whole firing squad on him. Ahsoka blocking laser bolts is cool and all but she almost dies later in that same episode from it

I think her connection with the daughter has something to do with this. I feel like something else was also transferred when the daughter gave Ahsoka her remaining life force. Ahsoka was literally reborn in the light, she resembles the light side in my opinion. And after that episode it seems like she’s gotten more skilled and powerful throughout the series. She’s protected by the daughter. I think Ahsoka will be something more than just a Jedi, she just gets better and better, her potential as of right now is beyond. She’s my favorite character and Jedi, she definitely earned her spot on the high list. After all she was trained and taught by some of the best jedis ever known and by the chosen one.

I understand the sentiment that she has grown powerful and very powerful in fact, however dooku would destroy her in a lightsaber duel simply due to his mastery of form 2 a form DEDICATED to lightsaber fighting, and as far as force power levels, as a jedi master, he was known as one of the greatest among them let alone when he becomes a sith. All this to say comparing the 2 I think is incorrect, a comparison with obi- wan or plo koon (he was known as a great combatant) is a better and more accurate comparison
We still don’t know what happened with her and the true extent of her powers after the daughter revived her. She could very well possibly be the physical embodiment of the light side. If this is the case she may have the potential of yoda as in legends atleast her species could live to 200 years if they where force sensitive

She grew up fighting more every month than peace time Jedi did every year. One year of war for her was the equivalent combat experience of 12 years of peacetime training. She is born of war. Of course she is so powerful.
The fact that The Daughter is part of her after the Mortis arc really justifies why she's so powerful now.
There are so many things going on, for sure the Jedi order through the guidance of the council totally lost their way of what it was to be a Jedi knight and one with the force. With that said, they were all breathtakingly manipulated by the chancellor aka Sidious. I think when Ahsoka left the order, her journeys gave her clarity and understanding and she found her true path..., even though she left the order, she was more truly a Jedi. You’re assessment of Her having Anakin as a teacher is spot on, but don’t forget, she was around some of the best , Yoda, Obi Wan, clone captain/commander Rex, the librarian, and Plo Koon through which she learned and absorbed wisdom, patience, strategical thinking and letting go.
I love Ahsoka she is my 2nd favorite Jedi(Anakin is my favorite!)and my third favorite character in Star Wars.

With Star Wars blowing up the power of everyone, it's hard to assess power levels now a days, and we just gotta take accept them as is. I expect her power to be raised quite a bit more as content continues to be developed for her, and I'm not even mad as she is one of the best characters in Star Wars, probably the best developed character right next to Anakin.
I think her vigor against Maul, Vader, and Sidious himself within a relatively short time is far more than many other Jedi could have endured.

Apparently there is a perception issue regarding Ahsoka and her force power. When she first appeared on the scene there were pointers to her strength in the force, firstly Plokoon was able to sense her while still being outside Shillis' orbit. Ahsoka was able to sense that the first person to come for her, claiming to be a Jedi was in fact a slaver and refused to leave with him. Then Yoda sent her to Anakin to be his Padawan, at the age of 14yrs which is apparently some what young for a Padawan. Two reasons were given for this, one being her force power being far in advance of her youngling peers, we see evidence of this on her first mission with Anakin when she pulls a wall down to destroy a mob of droids surrounding Anakin, a feat not possible for a normal 14yr old force user. The second reason she was placed with Anakin is because of her reckless, rebellious nature. Further, how could she have kept up with Anakin if she was not as strong in the force as she was.

Scaling wise it makes sense, she fought Maul on near equal terms. Jeremy Barlow the author of SOD placed Maul's power below that of Vader and even Dooku but he also said that Maul would beat Dooku 6/10 times because of his won't quit till he's out mentality. And Maul got even more powerful in Rebels (since he's only in his 50's, and Mace was only 50 and kicking ass Hell Dooku was 83 kicking kenobis ass) so Its likely that by Rebels Maul powerwise is above Dooku and then you have Ahsoka dueling equally with that maul (she also got alot stronger so that adds more proof that maul is also stronger) and then she holds her own against Vader. As much as I respect Dooku, I don't see Dooku doing as well against Vader as Ahsoka.

Its also worth noting that Dooku was only in his dark side prime for a very short period of time (That same period he held his own against Yoda twice) But by ROTS he was pretty worn out. So Dooku is overall tricky to rank. I do agree that Maul certainly surpassed ROTS Dooku by rebels. I'd say maybe equal to or very slightly above the Dooku that went head to head with Yoda. I think Dooku came to the dark side much too late in life, whereas Maul has basked in it since he was a baby, so Maul is probably more comfy in the dark side too. Dooku never seemed all that inclined to tap the dark side too deeply in fights, his old jedi self-discipline never fully left him, plus dark side physical degradation was risky at his age.

That's a better description of Obi-Wan but does fit her to a decent degree. I think she is far more naturally gifted than him, though.
Of course she’s massively powerful. I mean she held her own against Maul, defeating him. She defeated two inquisitors at the same time, defeated an inquisitor and turned his lightsabers from red to white, she held her own against Vader and outwits multiple enemies. She honestly is amazing.
She is one of the characters I point when I talk to people about how to write a good character. She had a great evolution, realistic characteristics, and she has great power growth.

I would honestly put TCW Ahsoka just above Obi-wan ROTS and in Rebels neck and neck with Dooku maybe even higher (Vader was amped on Malachor when fighting Ahsoka, as it is a dark side force nexus), though I would also put Maul on the same tier as Ahsoka and Dooku.
And yet Disney’s failure with the sequels pointed at by their failure to include her in any of the three at all. Think it would have been a much better story if Asoka. Luke’s father’s padawan the one whom convinces him back out his isolation. But they came up with a noname nobody that they kept a no-name nobody for almost three full movies. Ya good choice Disney. If that doesn't support firing of Kathleen Kennedy before she makes further legacy killings to Star Wars.

Being able to make Vader actually try definitely makes you extremely powerful in my books.
She is clearly higher than the inquisitors and up there with many of the top Jedi, but she is not on the Kenobi, Dooku, Windu level and it makes sense for her to be on this level after the clone wars and into rebel times. I think she is best kept on the tier slightly below around the Plo Koon, Kit Fisto level clearly very skilled and nicely developed.
In most of Clone Wars no. Then again at 19 Anakin and Obi-Wan got trounced by Dooku in episode 2. So I wouldn’t expect CW era Ahsoka to match Dooku.
Rebels era however would trounce Dooku. At that point she would be at her physical peak and have had another 15 years to master her combat style.
She would nearly match him for skill but would actually win by wearing him down with speed and endurance. Eventually he would tire and make a fatal mistake.
This is exactly how Anakin beat Dooku in ep3. Dooku was still more skilled but he simply could not keep up with Anakins speed and strength.

I could see the matured Ahsoka in Rebels being able to defeat Dooku (even at his physical prime), if not at the very least holding her own until they were both exhausted and/or he was pressured to retreat. She may never have been Anakin's equal in raw power, but was trained by him and honed her skills throughout the Clone Wars, quickly gaining a lot of experience for her young age.
Add to that the years she trained further after Order 66, and she'd easily be at the level of a veteran Master. Moreover, she fought multiple times against Ventress who was trained by Dooku and used the same (albeit, less refined) lightsaber style mixed with duel-wielding. Dooku's decades of experience & skill in the Dark Side would certainly be a challenge, especially his Sith lightning.
Considering Anakin & Obi-Wan's experience from battling the Count, however, they'd have undoubtedly warned Ahsoka about this ability at least once and advised her on how to block it in case she ever encountered a user of it. As powerful as Sith lightning is, especially in the hands of someone like Palpatine, any competent Force user can potentially evade or defend against it.
I see a battle between Ahsoka Tano and Darth Tyranus ending as a draw, or when one retreats. I place them both as High Tier 8’s in lightsaber combat. A level below Mace Windu, who is on the border line between Tier 8 and Tier 9. But two or so levels above Darth Maul, who I consider to be a low-mid Tier 8.
Ahsoka and Darth Tyranus each prove that they can last for most of a minute against a mid-Tier 9 duelist: Darth Vader and Yoda respectively. And if those Tier 9 duelists were holding back, it was by the same amount for the same reason: they both were facing their once Jedi Padawan.
Each proves to have the speed to last against a Tier 9 duelist, with Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader ultimately overwhelming each of these duelists through sheer strength.
Both of them are graceful, dexterous, deft, and refined duelists. Ahsoka emphasizing a bit more speed with her saber swings while Tyranus emphasizes a bit more precision and fencing tricks with his lightsaber. However, Tyranus’ definitely will contend evenly with Ahsoka’s speed. And Ahsoka has held her own against the ultimate precision master in Darth Vader, proving that she won’t fall for Tyranus’ deft techniques - such as what the Sith Lord pulled against Obi-Wan Kenobi in _Star Wars: Attack of the Clones._
In the arena of the Force, Tyranus has an edge in that his offensive powers have greater breadth and depth. But a breathless and faint Ahsoka managed to deflect Darth Sidious’ Force Fire. Though it should be noted the Emperor was only halfway in the realm Ahsoka was in, if she could deflect Force *Fire* with the Force, she can deflect Force Lightning. It’s much more direct and familiar.
Not to mention that Darth Tyranus prefers to engage in lightsaber combat *anyways.* The two times he opened with Force powers was A.) When Anakin left an opening that he couldn’t *not* exploit, and B.) When he wanted to prove his power to his former Jedi Master.
So who would win? Good gracious me, I would cast my bets for Darth Tyranus. But it would be as risky a bit as you could take in a match up against two Star Wars characters. It really can go either way. And it would probably take a similar amount of time as Darth Vader vs Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar.
This absolutely makes sense. Being 15 during a time like the Clone Wars and honing your skills through it would undoubtedly make you grow in ability much quicker than normal. Plus the 10 years after the war. There’s no doubt in my mind she’d become quite powerful

10000 jedi during the prequels atleast and only 10-20 are truly special so there’s actually very few

She was taught by Anakin Skywalker, and fought during the clone wars. She’s gone toe to toe with Darth Vader, and Darth Maul, and was even able to best him.

I've enjoyed watching her progression since the animated Clone Wars movie that introduced her. Starting off with a cute with an innocent wit, supporting role, to the trials and struggles of her time under Skywalker, the feels when and why she left the Jedi and then her beautifully articulated style and level of matured personality towards the end. You almost feel like you are growing up with her, like from the talents of a good author. I would put her on the list of characters that also gave a sense of peace and hope when in her presence...and to me, that is in itself has earned her the rank of master!

I agree with you 100%. This might make sense, she left the order...we don't know what she did in that off time between her leaving and her return. In that time frame, she could have been training in the force her way without having to be restricted by the Jedi code. That gave her some leeway as to what she learned. She reminds me more of Qui-Gon in this sense. Qui-Gon did things his way, despite what the council said, but with her, she didn't have to answer to the council. I think it expanded her knowledge without the restrictions.
