- OPPO & Realme have become big players in the earphone industry over the last few years and it seems these two sets are pit directly against one another. They are quite similar on many fronts, even when it comes to how they sound but subtle differences give each of them their own character.

Hi
I was wondering if you’ve tested it out with running or working out and whether they fit well even then? That’s a major reason I am getting it
Both of them fit alright but I tend to feel like the left realme bud feels like it's going to fall out with my ears. The housing for the driver is quite large. The oppo is also a large housing but doesn't give the feeling of falling out, not that they have but it will vary a bit from person to person. Over longer listening sessions I do tend to feel a bit of pain in the left ear with the realme bud.
@@PaulsPOV thanks so much for quick response; I’ll make the decision in a day or two! Would really be helpful if you can have your active time with the oppo!

Hello Paul. Excellent content!
Looking around for TWS mainly for music (slightly bass oriented but not too overpowering), and gaming. Good battery life, ANC and comfort for long duration use. Call quality is not very important.
Needs to be reliable with good after sales support.
Budget - 5k max. Kindly advise.
I ordered Nothing Ear 1, but canceled order after coming across your long term review. Should I re-order or consider something else? Thanks.

I've been pretty happy with my set of Nothings ever since the last software update. The only issue I have now is it's connectivity which is only a 1second drop off. It used to occur every 10-15mins earlier but after the update it happened every once in 1-2 hrs which I can live with. The way they sound trumps the small issue honestly. They've been my daily driver ever since I got them and they've stood true even after all these months. The one set of earphones I'm interested in reviewing now are the JBL 230NC, I'm hearing good things about them but wouldn't be able to tell you if they're better than the Nothings unil I compare the two. Having said that, I still stand by how happy I've been with the Nothings after all this time.
Real me air buds 3 vs soundcore life note 3 anc which one to buy right now ?

I don’t know what happened as your comment is about 7 mnths old
But I would receive Oneplus buds z2 only if your priority is high volume and good call quality.
Whereas the Oppo enco’s are all rounder and better than any of them in the price range
Just curious about Firmware updates
How it works to improve mic quality? It does give a big impact?
Only of there's an update specifically for it will it make a difference toward it but I've seen that there usually isn't much of a difference after an update.
Can’t believe you have just 4k subs
Hi Paul, what is your opinion on nothing ear 2? What should be the ideal price of these instead of 10k what they are asking.
I haven't tested them yet, they're a little too expensive if you ask me. I bought the Ear1 for around 6-7k if I remember right, that's a reasonable price. Later some folk even managed to buy it for sub 5k with deals. Current 10k pricing is a bit crazy if you ask me.
But having said that, being a second generation product, I'm sure they ironed out the issues that the Ear1 had with the Ear2. I'm sure it'll sound great but now it's a little out of reach for a lot more people.
I have a oppo enco w31s and I have been using them from past 2 years or so. Im slightly leaning towards oppo due to the sound tuning. Do you think it is a wise upgrade?
A set I reviewed only just stopped working after almost two years, only because my mum put them in for a wash without realizing. I quite enjoyed those earphones and can say that these OPPOs would be a nice upgrade from them.
Thanks a lot for the response.

The Nothings seem to perform the best of the lot but due to its smaller cells, your call times won't be too long.
Thanks for the timestamp brother ⭐
How good is air 2 pro when compared to enco w51 you reviewed 2 years back? Is it a worthy upgrade? Please do respond. Thank you.
The W51 was a terrific set of earphones I have to say. I did use it for a whole year and really enjoyed it. The air 2 pro does hold up well when it comes to its build. Sound maybe at par from what I remember the W51 to be. The one thing I'm not too happy with is the housing of the drivers is a bit large so can cause ear discomfort over longer listening sessions and even pain for some people.

I have only tested the air 2 pro from the list of earphones you've mentioned. Their housing is a bit on the larger side so can cause discomfort for some people if they have smaller ears. Have a look at my comparison between the 6TWS earphones I've tested recently. Some of them are available for below 5k now. If you can get your hands on the LG FP5 for that price, highly recommended.

Have a look at the JBL230NC. Works well with iOS and I've been enjoying them. Feel free to have a look at my reviews about them.
Hello Paul, I already reacted on your video about realme buds 3, more specifically on your glitch on dual connect mode, mode that works absolutely fine with me. It turns out that I unintendedly changed my presets on my phone and turn on the clic as a response to any screen touch.... And then I started to have the same issue you ares describing. May that be it? I also have to say that my devices are a w11 computer and an android phone, it may be a different comportment for IOS...?
I dont have any click responses. It still doesn't let me use both devices at the same time but I'm okay with it. I just use one device at a time with them now. No other earphone in this category does simultaneously pairing, even the oppo isn't anywhere close to being as good as the Realme when it comes to this specific feature.

The JBL is an up in sound quality compared to the oppo and realme for sure.

Have a look at the call chapter in this review if you'd like to listen to the call demos.
Hi Paul, i am still confused between these two as noise cancellation is not a major feature for me bcoz most of the time i will use them without anc. And as i have seen in most of the reviews that oppo one's have slightly better audio quality because of their sound signature. So is there a noticable difference between the realme and oppo audio quality. And what should i consider finally given that i am not considering the price difference between two.
Also low latency and call quality is also not a factor for me.
But seamless two device pairing could be 'slightly' helpful
The Oppos are easier and more natural sounding to the ear. The realme tends to be a little treble happy, and sound a digital in its presentation.
The advantage with the realme is that it has simultaneous pairing, whereas as the oppo, you'll have to switch between your devices while pressing and holding a touch panel. So you lose 2 seconds there where the realme is always connected to 2 devices.
Sound wise, I prefer the oppo, but convenience wise, for multi device or simultaneous pairing, the realme is the way to go.
So you'll have to figure out which aspect is more relevant to you and decide which one would suit you better.
Hope this helps.

Good day, Paul. Please which of these is best for listening to human voices clearly, like podcasts?
Both work well for podcasts. The realme might seem a bit sharper in delivery in the mid range than the oppo which is a little easier sounding over longer listening sessions.

The bass is fuller in the JBL compared to the Oppo, it carries itself in a more premium way, the over all sound that is. Distortion? Maybe buy from their website directly as I've heard that some people got fake units off of Amazon etc for the JBL. It's grown to be one of my favorites lately along with the LG FP5.

Hello, I have a question, as you were saying, realme's 50% volume = oppo's 80% volume! Does that mean i always need to put sound to 100% to listen to music in a crowded place?
Can you clarify a bit on the loudness? Like how it is in indoor and outdoor compared to realme?
The difference is that the realme amps a bit more than the oppo, when the real me has its volume boost on its a but louder than the oppo. I wouldn't reccomend going over 50-60% with any earphones. If in a crowded space you can have the ANC on maximum and listen at 50-60% comfortably with both sets, should you want to go higher you could obviously. But I wouldn't suggest you do that for longer sessions if you're particular about your hearing in the long run.
@@PaulsPOV Thanks a lot for the reply. I was confused like suppose I want to hear something with more loudness in an office meeting, oppo will provide it or not! Is it sufficient to enjoy party music with loudness in oppo?
Yea the oppo isn't a slouch. If you use one of the EQ modes it does get a bit of a boost like the realme.
