The Gods of Theros are cruel. So cruel that they meddle in the lives of lesser creatures. Arasta is one such creature who was used as a play thing for the Gods. Once a beautiful dryad, she has been cursed to live the remainder of her life as a terrifying spider. This is the story of Arasta of the Endless Web.

To be fair, Nylea could have wanted to revert Phenax spell just because braking a curse on a beloved one would feel like the right thing to do to many people and, given the greek inspiration for Theros and how greek gods are very much flawed like humans, this could be all of her motivation.
I have another question though: what now? Ajani hinted at the completion of Purphoros cult being the fifth one... should we assume that the five main gods were all compleated? What happened to those gods after the defeat of Phyrexia? Did they heal? Are they gone? If Nylea is gone, what will happen to Arasta?
