Same 30mm legs as the inception boxes, I took the foot off and used a rod the knock the caps off and replace them with the threaded end caps to add attachments directly to the legs. As previously mentioned a cheap bullseye spirit level can stuck on with a bit of strong trim/double sided tape.
Got the same chair for Christmas and the same as you bit let down with table storage. So I've used a bungee over the backrest frame under the cover let the hooks hang down now have it sorted.
Great in depth reveiw Carl,,looks a good chair mate and so easy to fit all the range of attachments eh mate, i have a freind who has one and he says its best feeder chair hes ever had , thanks mate keep the reveiw coming mate,
@@pauledwards6470 thank you for the kind words mate and I really like it and best thing is does not take up much room at all, also will do pal many more videos to come 👍🏻

Another great review Carl. I have the Matrix chair a while back but looking at your review I think its a bit better than the matrix. I have not long ago purchased a Preston Seat Box, not had a chance to use it yet but first impressions are good. Might sell the Matrix chair and get the Preston Ignition as a second option after watching your review.
Had one since release, can’t really fault it.light and strong. The leg retaining clips have lost some grip, but it’s just as case of carrying with the feet up .
Carl, can you not fit the legs to the clips with the feet upwards? .. Then if they slide down, they will stop on the cross bar and not get lost in transit? I also think for those who struggle with their hands, could slide the poles into the clips that way as well, as the ends are rounded. Great informative video again! Thanks Paul.
Hey, Thanks for the review, I have been thinking of buying one of these for a while, and I think I am now convinced, I will definetly buy one of these over the caperlan. I do have a couple of questions if you could help me out. I see the rod rests are held in with a quick release block system, do the rod rests themselves attach with a standard screw thread into tha block, or would I need to replace them with rests with the preston quick release system? Also, are there actually screw threads in the top of the legs? I see from the video the caps were on real tight, just wondered if you managed to get the caps off. Thanks in advance
@@Deano151 thank you mate and I will have to have a look at the quick release block to see if it does and I have still not got them off but I don’t mind as it has everything I need also not sure if they do come off hope this helps 👍🏻
@@AnglerCarl Thanks for getting back to me. That would be great if you have a look at yours for me. I just think if I broke one, or if I wanted to change to a double butt rest or something, it would be easier if they were on the standard thread as everything else. Thanks mate👍
Hi pal I have the Preston absolute feeder chair but I have been having problems with the legs sticking and not running smoothly I don’t know if you encountered any problems good review 👍
Hi Carl, find the old "Tommy Pickering" "Setting Up" your Box" Vid with his fishing, Daughter which also applies to "Chairs". It gets into "Avoiding getting a Bad Back" and using a Bait Box, with 1/2 inch of water or so, as a "Spirit Level". I won't spoil it any more bud' but Deffo' worth watching !! 📺
@@AnglerCarl You can put some Marks around the Legs with a permanent marker, so you're somewhere Near Every time. I've done it on the Retractable Legs on Mine !! You'll have to write Back and Front on yours though as all 4 Legs are same.
Got the Korum S23 super deluxe MK2 that's also a great chair it's absolutely solid and super comfortable it's got the adjustable legs but it is quite heavy
Carl, a friend of mine and his mate had a Preston feeder chair, I'm not saying it was the same as yours but things started to break after about 12 months. If yours starts to fall apart would you be honest and tell everyone? If you're fishing! Have a good 1
