Hello, how are you? I have a 1000w wind system. 600w wind 400 lot What configuration should I use if I only use the wind system for it to work correctly? Hello, and sorry for the late reply....everything is fine, thanks! This type of regulator automatically manages the incoming power flows from both wind and photovoltaic. You definitely have to set the battery type correctly, for charging it has pre-set factory values depending on the type of battery but you can also change them manually.

How long would it take for the controller to charge "Mighty Max Battery 12v 100ah gel battery" if it was 20% discharged at 600W wind production??
A 600 watt turbine at 12v at maximum power (impossible to reach constantly....) would produce over 40 amps, too high a charge for a 100 ah battery, with 20 ah of charge you would be at 100% in less than 4 hours. ...

Presently i have installed following solar system installed at home:
Total solar power installed 1000 W
- Batteries
24v system
( There are 2 in number tall tubelor batteries)
- Batteries charging parameters:
* bulk charging at 29.2V
* float charging at 27V.
- UPS / solar mppt inverter available 3Kw
Initially i want to start from 500 to 800 W wind turbine.
Please suggest a Wind turbine and Charge controller which can be combined/ intigrated with my solar system.
There are hybrid solar/wind controllers that are good for your power, if you want a small but efficient turbine you have to spend over 1000 euros, like air x or silentwind....otherwise this istabreeze i-1500....these in my videos they are extremely economical products with a yield proportional to the expense....
As I already have solar mppt charge controller so should I need hybrid (wind+solar) controller or simple wind charge controller?
hybrid, you can't connect 2 controllers in parallel
If you have 2 wind turbine can you run both off the controller or do they have to be separate?
It doesn't make much sense, a single larger turbine would be better... they would never work with the exact same voltages and it would be a problem for the regulator...
Have you tested it on a Li ion battery? My two were limited in cell configuration and always dumped making it rubbish. Manufacturer not interested to fix. Beware! See other similar on line reviews. Great looking rubbish!
Hi Tubeophiliac, I didn't quickly test the lead-acid battery product on the bench, I received a lot of feedback and honestly there are those who speak well and those who badly, surely everyone has their right reasons.
@@windturbine Some people report it working ok with lead acid but I am yet to see a positive report from a lithium user.
