Best camera I have ever owned. love the looks of the camera as well as the pics from it. Video is not even a remote priority for me but for casual videos its more than enough. Colour profiles from Fuji are great. Kit lens is much better than expected. Weight is actually good compared to dslrs and doesn't feel cheap. Dials are great and programmable. Better photos compared to cannon I feel due to lens collection as well as over all color science. Video its a bit lacking due to 4k 15 fps but 1080p60 is available but due to some minor focus hunting it might not be desirable for huge vloggers. Overall a very lovable camera with WiFi features and good overall usability for a photography enthusiast. NB: I actually got a battery charger , a bag and a 16 gb memory card
@@its_harshildave i don't use flash that often and for what i have used it seems adequate but fujis lenses are bit pricey but i have heard they are good quality i will have to see since i am now content with kit and need to explore the camera more before i go ahead and buy a costly lens
It’s articulating screen is a ingenious piece of design thank you for briefly highlighting this feature it would be the answer to most stills and video photographers I can’t understand why this design isn’t being used in other Fujifilm cameras. FUJIFILM WHY ? It’s brilliant and the answer for most photographers needs!
Great review! I was going to get a Canon, but this camera is just beautiful, so I bought this one. The HD video is just fine for me so I am very happy with it!
So tempted to get this as a starting point to Fuji with interchangeable lens. Already have the x100f and I love it, though if has it's drawback with the fixed lens.
so image quality is same as XA5? how come i've seen other reviewers say its Bayer but better and image quality is very similar to that of XT3/30 ? true or false? So XT100 loses to the 4 year old XT1 too?
Nestor Manuel Yes, it can be used professionally, but keep in mind that the performance won't be as good as an X-T20, X-H1 or X-T3. The good thing about this system is that you have plenty of lenses that are high quality and will yield amazing results. Try getting an XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 with an XF 35mm f/2 just to get started and that would definitely be an acceptable starter kit for pro work.
Very good review. I'm in the market for a new apsc after selling my rx100iv. Do you think the autofocus is decent? I'll only use it for still photography
Sir unfortunately there is no video on x-t100 hotshoe capabilities. Like HSS, TTL etc. I'm a flash photographer (non professional). Flash settings menu is very limited in this model. Even after using compatible flash I'm not able to do high speed sync. Can't go beyond 1/250 shutter speed. Kindly make small video on this subject. This information is not available anywhere even not on fuji website. Thank you.
I had a fuss b/w this- xt100, a5100 and a6000. Although it has a slower focussing capability but still I went ahead with this camera. It comes home in 2 days hope it doesn't disappoint.
Hmm... probably a 6-7ish. It does the job to get you started taking images but I would suggest getting a fixed focal length lens to accompany it for when you need sharper images. Which one will depend entirely on what you photograph and what your budget is
Thank you. I totally agree with you. However, i need to decide on the kit for a new x-e3 and my options are either this zoom or the xf18-55. I know that the 18-55 is better but the size of the 15-45 for the price offered is very interesting. As i am getting a 27 mm pancake and looking into the 35mm prime. As there are not any reviews on the 15-45 i am trying to figure out whether its worth at all.
Sorry, the 18-55mm is a lot better. I think you would be disappointed with the 15-45mm comparing it to your prime lenses, where as the 18-55mm would be a better match.
I just recently purchased the Fujifilm XT100, but I want to get a bigger, more proper, studio flash for it. I do a lot of product shots and models-in-front-of-backdrop shots in studio. Can you point me in the right direction for what professional flash I can get that is compatible with the XT100? I also am sick of the stock lens it came with. What kind of lenses are compatible with the XT100? Specifically fish-eye, Do they have to be Fujifilm lenses in order to work on this specific body? Much appreciated.
Hmmm... tricky one. Handling wise Fujifilm would win AF performance the A6000 Image quality would be personal preference - Fujifilm may just shade it for me. Video - been a while since I’ve used the A6000. It doesn’t have 4K, but then with just 15fps the X-T100 doesn’t either really. Neither have on camera IS - both rely on lens based. Quality wise both look quite similar. I’d have to have them side by side to check AF performance in video so won’t pass judgement. Overall the A6000 prob wins on video. Both are good cameras - the A6000 currently represents excellent value for money and would prob be my pick for video. For images I’d probably pick the X-T100 - mainly due to the handling If money is tight - the A6000... or wait and see if the X-T100 has any discounts in a few months time
Tough one. Hmmm.... I would probably go with the X-T100 if I was just doing photos. G7X II is obvious choice if you want to travel and do some vlogging, for video and for all round use I would go M100... so probably M100
Never use the close up mode for potrait (bad filter) Keep the ISO at minimum (200) coz I feel like the camera itself produces noisy pictures. So try Manual mode (200 ISO, 1/60th or faster, F3.5 - F5.6) daytime

How's the in-built flash performing..? And do you think that investing in lens afterwards will make it more professional..?

Great Video Body, Thanks a Lot!
Which one between fujifilm xt100 and canon m6?
would it be a good deal to get a pre owned like new for 310€ with the kit lense?
This was the most helpful review. Thank you!
Hi it is possible to use this as a main camera or for professional use?
Nestor Manuel Yes, it can be used professionally, but keep in mind that the performance won't be as good as an X-T20, X-H1 or X-T3.

I'm thinking 'optical flow' (in Final Cut Pro X) might help with the 15 fps 4K setting in post production.
Thanks for the suggestion. I was also thinking of this as a solution
Which is better Lumix g7 or xt 100 ?
Can I use tis for coocking vlog?
Can I take macro photography in Fujifilm xt100..?

Hello Sir 🤝. Does x-t100 support hss flash?
How to external plus use my full film Xt100 camera

Next XT-3 / XT-30 should have this flipping tilting LCD mechanism.
We can all keep our finger crossed! Can’t see any reason why it can’t be incorporated
Nice review
Cant wait for the xt30
They dont have Tilty Flippy Screen, WTF Fuji
Great review!
Does anyone own this camera and find it okay to take images of kids or pets moving? Thanks!

Hi, I was wondering how to change the tiny black vertical dial on the right for shutter speed. Is that possibile?
Hi here excellent video. What do think of the kit lens ? How would you rate vs the xf18-55 on a 1-10 scale?

How's the auto-focus especially in the low-light? And how is low light image qtly?
Can you do Fujifilm XF10, it has raised some controversy.
How there's a grip on the front!! I m looking at the model on Amazon and there's not any!
Gargee Mondal the grip is in the box.
Excellent review
Love the new design of the flip/tilt screen would make a great addition to the future X-H2 rather than the X-T4 design 😊 nice one Fujifilm 👍🏻

How about used a6300, should not be that much higher in price but a lot more feature rich though and more modern camera.

Xt-100 or canon 80d which one is best for landscapes and portrait plz suggest one
80d obviously becasue its way above the price category
Does it have in camera time lapse?
How are the JPEG´s images?
Can you use the Film Simulation in AUTO or SR mode?
Can you add film simulations after you have taken the photo in raw?
No, you just can resize it after the photo was shoted

Af-c in x-t100 too much hunt. X-a5 better than x-t100 in af-c
Too bad it has alot of problems focussing...
Lok?
This is not Lok
The picture from the Fujifilm X-T100 is too blue. Canon M50 is better :)
