you sir are simply the best at tutorials! informative, cover so many different tools that can be applied to all sorts of design processes, and you dont waffle in the slightest! thanks!
illistrator isnt a skill it is a tool. like a paint brush or a pencil. It takes an artist and you are an artist man; great ideas i would never have throught to use these spesific arangments and operations like you did awesome!!
Great as always - and a testament as to how quickly you can work when you have your workspace set up nicely. I really should invest the time in doing that. I spend far too much time just looking for stuff...
Wow this was amazing man. I'll def have to do it A-Z one of these days, it's very good for practice. Even if I do have a degree, you always learn new things ^^
Hey man, I just wanted you to know , damn this is so good, learned many a lot techniques from this video, and awesome design. Very nice pacing and simple steps. Keep it up
Hey there, sorry if you still haven't gotten an answer so far but when making the rounded rectangle, press the right arrow key on your keyboard to round the edges even more.
I've started this tutorial and can't do what you show at 1:56 , perhaps because I'm using an older version of Illustrator. It would have been great if you would have shown what to do if we didn't have the newest version. Anyone else had this issue and fixed it?
Hey Spoon, I have a question about as step that I can't do anymore. It's when you're rotating a circle based on the axis of a bigger central circle to put circles around it. When I rotate the first one and I'm going to use Control + D to repeat the previous step and create the rest of the circles around it doesn't go forward, instead, it creates a new copy of the previous circle. Is there a something that I have to change to fix it? I hope you understand that and sorry for the long question haha
Hey Leonardo, the CMD+D shortcut is for 'Transform Again', so it repeats the last command you made. Make sure you don't do anything after making the circle rotation, otherwise it will repeat that instead. Remember to click the Copy button from within the Rotate panel to rotate and duplicate in one step. I hope this helps out!
Does it matter that your using a Mac with Adobe Illustrator? I've heard that some Macs are better for creativity than Windows? Ive only used Windows though Macs are far too alien for me to buy
I'm not an expert on the subject but I believe I can help you a little bit. A lot of people say that Mac is indeed better for creativity but I think this is because of the software. As far as I'm aware of, there is a lot more software available for music production, video editing, graphic design, photography, etc. for Mac than there is for Windows. Thereby, a Mac usually comes with some basic 'creative software' installed. However, if you're using Adobe Illustrator I don't think it matters on which platform you're on. As long as your computer has enough processing power to run the software, you don't have anything to worry about. I'm a Mac user myself. If you really want to transition from Windows, don't worry about it. In the beginning it might feel alien but I think all of Apple's operating systems are very user friendly and incredibly easy to use. I grew up in a family that used Windows and all my schools used Windows. I made the transition to Mac when I was only 12 or 13. If you have some basic understanding of how to use a computer, you shouldn't have any problems. Hope this helps :)
Thanks for the reply especially for being detailed! I shall remain Windows because I've tried Apple phones and iTunes and hate them but cheers for the information Vpower. 8)
another question he's using Illustrator CC is there different versions of Illustrator? I'm using a free trial and can't do some thing's he is, I don't want to buy the wrong version I want the one that gives you absolutely everything
hells surprise I know CC stands for Creative Cloud, which is the latest version of AI. You don't really buy the software nowadays, you have to take a subscription and then you can use the full version of the software. That will be the latest version with all features available.

12:56 The filter produced no result. Please select two overlapping paths.
where do i get the colour tones from ?
Hey, how did you change the background color?
Augusto Guerrante probably in photoshop
right curser key isnt maxing out the corner radius, how would you enable that?
Hmm, does the radius change if you press and hold the up/down cursor keys? If so, holding 'down' until it maxes out would also work
yeah, that works thanks alot, i got around it by just dragging at the radius centre (the long way) but that should speed things up for me

Обожаю твои туториалы :D
