+MalluNerd™ That's exactly what my wife says...

+Spoon Graphics When creating the angled paths the outer colour acts as a fill from about 3:50 do you have any idea how to correct this? I use mac too. Thanks, was getting into it haha
+carl carpenter From what I've noticed, you muse have No Fill selected before you create the brush.
TurboJaques THANKS I CAN FINISH IT NOW hahaaha
amazing just amazing lol
PLS DONT STOP DOING VIDEOS PLS
This was insane. But it'll take practice to even come up with the basic design you've shown here.
WTF 0_0!? very cool lesson !!! thank you man !
segaaaannnn ama yang bikin , matur sembah nuwun
hi, you did a great job. I got a problem that when I draw the second line the lines between has been fill in with all the colors. and I set the fill in with none and it is still there, i don't know what to do about it. could you help me please? thank you
Love your channel. Just one question, I take my pictures in RAW format (CR2 Files) and they aren't able to be put in Photoshop without the Raw Plugin. I downloaded the RAW plugin from Adobe and when I tried to install the plugin, it said I needed Adobe File Manager. So I got Adobe File Manager and then I tried to install the plugin again and my computer said I needed a new version of Adobe File Manager. That was the newest version so I am just really lost and frustrated with this. If you can help me that would be amazing. Thanks
Hey.love your work. Can i use this program for 80s prints and shapes to transfer to clothing? In other words is adobe illustrator suitable for that? thx
Hey Chris, great helpful video! What's the name of the background music? Thanks
hey dude great tutorial as usual!
i just have one problem though. The objects I've hid using the clipping mask appears as empty space after i've saved my document. How do i fix this?
5:54 how did the shape fit so perfect
Awesome tutorial. Thanks for this! Quick question, how do I make the paths I draw act act as closed paths when they are still open? When I'm following along, at 3:52 my line segments try to connect at opposite ends and create a blobby mess of color.
+Casey M did u work it out
Nope
When you are creating the art brush make sure that the fill color of each of the individual lines is empty. Only the stroke color should be set.
+Andreas Stocker thank you ,I solve that problem is really frustrated me.
@@andreasstocker1176 Thank you so much. I tried make this artwork for so long and it did not work but I used your method and it worked. Thank You so much!!!!!!!
Good tutorial. A little fast but can always pause and rewind :P Thumbs up
love the accent!
When I make a corner I get a colour making up the triangle like when you do in Photoshop, what have I missed in settings?
Everytime is draw the angle stroke, it fills because its connected. Can you help?
When doing the "Round corners" action, the end of my lines also gets a round shape. Help!
I don't understand the command he's referring to at 5:09, command square and brackets shortcut? I don't have a square symbol on my Windows 10 keyboard I'm presuming this is Mac lingo as he's using a Mac. Please can someone tell me in Windows 10 terms what command I need to do. THANKS
Ctrl my friend, command in mac... (Ctrl) in windows bro! :D
Only issue I'm having is making my corners smooth. It seems that when I stylize for round corners, in only rounds outside corners, and not inside corners. What am I doing wrong?
I having a problem trying to get where my lines ant overlapping each other and if do more then one conner the colors get disorganized
Its not working for me!!! I cant select the stroke colour using eyedropper tool because it gets selected as the fill and not the stroke every time!!!
SOMEONE PLS HELP!!!!!
i have the same problem
hold shift
Great tutorial!
But as soon as I cut a line, it moves just a few milimeter to the side and I can't adjust it properly ... Just why?
my circle sizes when making pattern are way bigger how do i shrink them?
He sounds like he had too much to drink when you set the video to 0.5 speed...
3:54 how do you make the x appear ?
Can I do this with cs5.1?
Love this video!
When I create the brush it keeps filling with one of the colors from the pattern. How do i fix that?!
+Brennan Felker Make sure the 'fill colour' box near the bottom of the toolbar doesn't have a colour in it (clear it using the white/red icon)
+Spoon Graphics I had the same problem but changing the fill color to no fill didn't help
+Spoon Graphics ok I know thanks
how do i do the command?
Its ctrl
Everything's great until I try making the brush stroke - when I use the pen tool to draw the lines it keeps autofilling between the point with black or white, despite there being no fill on any layer whatsoever and I can't seem to turn it off. Can one of you lovely maestros please help. I'm tewaring my hair out and Google isn't helping
Same problem with me!
Niño James Quibido I half solved the problem by rasterizing the line block - it gives you an option; to include fill and stroke or not, which you don't. That's the best I could do.
Thanks for the reply but still I can't get it to work.
then let's hope someone else has a better idea
I solved the problem. Make sure that all the lines you used to make the brush don't have a fill, only stroke. ;)
I cant create a clipping mask at the end ! i finished !
