That guy around 5:15 has some issues. The driver didn't aggressively back out into the middle of the road and the rider had plenty of room to keep riding by in probably a 25mph zone.I mean,why even waste everyone's time stopping and making a scene? Pffttt

519R6. That's on you bud. They can't see you! coming when backing out while another vehicle is parked by the driveway but you! can easily see them doing it which is why you should be riding "safe and prudent" this is on you.
Stealing people's vehicle's should be a capital offense.
The last one illustrates why you don't stop directly behind the middle of another vehicle at a red light or stop sign. That's a good way to get squashed. Assess the intersection for an escape route as you're pulling up to it. See which side is more open to go around that car. Then position yourself behind the car appropriately, keep it in first gear, and keep an eye on your mirror. That way you see it coming and can move off beside the car ahead. Always leave yourself an out.
Also, don't filter all the way to the front of traffic waiting at a light.
I've seen freak accidents where a car ran a light, and the the collision sent a car tumbling towards the vehicles waiting up front.
Delay yourself a bit to time reaching the front with the green light.

I had a heavy road train truck behind me unable to stop approaching red traffic light 🚦….I put on my hazard lights as I cautiously drove through the red light at major highway intersection., the truck behind me followed at high speed 😅

He was going 55 kph. He was in Canada, as evidenced by the Canadian flag on the police car. You're just coping and seething looking for a reason to hate motorcyclists.

These riders aren't going to live long. YOU'RE ALWAYS GOING TO LOSE AGAINST A CAR IF YOU'RE ON A BIKE. Don't engage with the ***holes in cages. Hone your spidey senses so that you can sense what they're going to do before they do it. And every time you do get a feeling they're going to do something stupid and they do, chalk that up as a victory.
When you get on your bike, your primary objective *MUST BE* to get where you're going with as little drama as possible. Getting there unharmed means you've won.

In almost every instance, it is the motorcycles fault. Not being courteous, following to close, assuming the rules do not apply to you because you’re on a motorcycle crossing yellow lines, yes I ride a motorcycle. When you ride a motorcycle you have to assume that they don’t see you or you will die.

Nothing is safe these days, not the bikes or the people that ride the bikes, I had five different bikes in my fun days, the drivers were a lot more aware, less speeding, more road courtesy, no road rage, now the bicycles are having the same problems, its not a safe world anymore, take care everyone and try to be a safe operator no matter what your driving or riding.

As a bicycle rider who often commutes to work I take umbrage to the printed line "If the pedestrians can go, so can I." That statement is false in three countries I've checked out and the attitude that believes it causes more anger from drivers against all of us bikers." The fact is I must get off my bike and walk it to claim any privilege of a pedestrian. It's implied in the definition of the of the word that implies being on your feet.
Yes, I recognize traffic had stopped and the light was in the process of turning green, that is a safe enough maneuver when we already saw all hazards are gone - FAR FAR better than some riders who blow through reds at half or full speed and get angry at those who don't wish to stop for them. I'm only saying a left turn through the middle of the intersection is not a pedestrian move.

Why are a lot of people saying that the guy at 5:04 was speeding he was going around 55 kph not mph that is around 35mph so he was going the speed limit also he wouldn't be able to stop as fast as he did.
rider was asking for it, everyone knows that bikes are smaller and harder to see, and that driver probably checked to make sure the lane was clear before backing out. biker just simply was having a bad day, even tho he did takes his eyes away from scanning ahead like he should have been.

Long gone are the days that riders can flip off cars, or engage. Drivers will shoot, or run you over, and leave you there.
1:52 What a little shit!! 5:37 in 2023, I was hit twice by distracted drivers. The second time happened the week after my first hit. A young woman turned right and dint see I was in the lane and clipped me. NO crash, small wobble and she pulled up. I went to her door and all I remember is yelling in rage. She started crying and that snapped me out and I apologized and left. These are very traumatic events and the main reason I only ride within town now. 7:01 is a good example of how these events can have lasting effects. Ridder had enough, probably the nicest guy who would never get that angry.

i rode for 43 years never split lanes even with it being legal, one time in traffic in company no window van i looked in mirror and saw motorcycle 1520 cars back so i switched lanes he was most likely was doing 50 plus mph when traffic was crawling had my signal on and just missed hitting
My fellow riders...car drivers, with very rare exception, are not out to kill us. Most of the time, they legitimately don't see us. Even the best drivers make an occasional mistake; they're not automatically bad people, or even bad drivers. Ride like you're invisible, not like everyone's out to get you. And for Christ's sake, under NO circumstances should you escalate and go all road-ragey. It doesn't matter if you're in the right-you're a squishy meat bag and you WILL lose a fight with a 3-ton vehicle, or a nutcase with a gun. Forget your pride. Just get on with your day and make it home intact to the people who care about you and need you. That's all.
everything I saw was a typical day motorcycling. It just so happened the riders got bent out of shape. Live and let live, in my 50+ years of riding I find laughing at the perpetrators of stupid driving causes them a lot more discomfort then actually confronting them, which usually makes them justify their actions in one form or another

So, for the clip around 4:51, I admit I WAS wearing all black, on a black bike at night, and the truck driver may not have seen me because of the car that made a left in front of me, but I had high visibility stickers on my jacket, bike and helmet, as well as an upgraded headlight, and was going about 25 miles per hour on a road with a limit of 30, since I know how easy it is for people not see bikers. But this guy, he could have said "sorry didn't see you" but instead carries on like nothing happened. The video doesn't really give credit to how close a call it really was, if I wasn't paying attention, I would have absolutely smacked the side of his truck, and since he was CLEARLY not paying attention, I could have ended up a chunky road pancake.

You did fine dude, The truck appeared to actually slow down when he first saw or heard you. Maybe he was remembering many bikers too fast to stop swerve around front, but there was traffic there too.
Intersection turners crossing that double yellow are way too common after the on-road racing video-games taught us what the Dukes of Hazzard meant by "Straightening the curves." :(
The scary thing about the near miss is I almost always stop off center aiming at that space for a safe zone if I have to take off quick, and might have ended up where she sent to avoid you. Good job asking her if she's OK first.

I ride a motorcycle most weekends and have for many years. Some of these riders are f idiots. The first rule of riding a bike is to keep yourself safe first.
