Jack Kirby's "Atlas" trailer

Audio from the 1961 trailer of "Atlas," with Jack's art from "The Last Days of Pompeii" (a Classics Illustrated comic) -- which just happens to be from 1961 as well -- plus DC's "1st Issue Special" #1 from the '70s, starring Jack's Atlas character.

Geez. Another of my favorite genres is the Italian Peplum films of the 50s and 60s. But the Kirby touch turns it up yet another notch. Steve Forrest of Apollo Star Trek OS played Atlas, but he certainly wasn't as massive as Jack's version. Make Mine Kirby!
