In the context of the Sahabah, tribalism was no longer a basis for solidarity. It was necessary to cut it at the root, to turn the soil and allow for new growth.
In our context today, we very much need a fresh solution to the problem of Modernity. What is being used as the basis of solidarity today? What has failed us and is causing repeated tribulation? It needs to be cut at the root, the soil to be turned, so that new growth can thrive.
May Allah bless you and increase you knowledge to inspire the Ummah and also the non-muslims to revert with His will Insha'Allah...Love and respect from Australia

Rada Martin Lings is a fantastic easy on the eye narrative and u will feel ur actually there during the events all those years ago!
The sealed Nectar is normally recommended but I found it really academic and boring! It is really hard going! I didn’t enjoy it! Mainly because the English is awful! 🥴

The Prophet Mohamed (Peace and blessing be upon him) was able to defeat the church in 631 in a public argument, how?
In 21-25 Dul Hijja 10 AH (OCT 631), the Christian delegation of Najran met prophet Mohamed peace and blessings be upon him. After applying textual criticism to the Bible according to (Al Quran 3.78) and reading comprehension in context as stated in (Al Quran 4.171), the church will find out that the Quran confirms the Gospel's message as state in (Al Quran 5.48). Jesus is no God. Allah left this is as a sign of truthfulness of the Quran.
The delegation refused to accept The Quranic evidence about the Nature of Christ. Mohamed PBUH invoked a Mubahala (prayer to the Creator to invoke a curse on the one who is the liar) with the delegation, and included his children and wives in the call to invoke the curse. As it was written in Tafsir al-Tabari, Muhammad brought only selected members of his family, Husayn, Hasan, Fatimah and Ali. The delegation was surprised and, according to the traditions, decided not to participate in the curse.
The Mubahala accounts became a historical fact because it is documented in The Quran 3.61.
Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you - say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us]." (The Quran 03.61)
By refusing the call for Mubahala the side of the claimant (Mohamed) was strengthened, and He won the debate.
This fulfilled the prophecy in John 16. “And when he comes, he will _convince_ or convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of day of judgement or good judgement.” (John 16.8 Van Dyke)
As a result, many people accepted Islam.
Those who condemn Imam al ghazali having really lost the spirit and soul of Islam and turning Islam into a religion of soulless legal formalism similar to the judaism in age of Isa a.s. This is why I love SHY and SHM. The white Muslims are actually the new salaf not the war mongers. Allah chooses who He wills to spread His Noor

It might be best to think of biography as theory.
In that context, it might be best to consider what functions that the three more mentioned pilgrimages serve and the meaning before the idols and after the idolatry was removed.
