I know this is a bold comment, but this guy is the best in the world at this. Fact. Been researching for years and I’ve yet to see anyone’s works anywhere near as realistic as this. Doesn’t help so many people getting in to this field now that shouldn’t and don’t have the eye for detail that Mark has

Agree, it’s a nightmare finding decent artist/technicians. I’ve chosen a lady in Wakefield, Jo Taylor of Follicle Illusion, start in June. Nervous but more positively excited about it.
@@GeorgeLista I would ALWAYS advise mate to do as much research as you can. Like if you get it wrong, it’s terribly obvious. I would insist you pay more and go with someone very reputable. I had a look there at who you’re looking to go with. Not good enough in my opinion.

Finding this video is like finding the Holy Grail! I’m new to SMP and one thing I’ve noticed are arrogant artists free-handing hairlines with no strategy other than their ego. What I’ve noticed with those artists are all of their clients have a hairline that is higher on the left side as if that’s their company’s signature touch. It’s as if their clients don’t deserve an explanation of the method to their madness.
This video on the other hand, gives me hope to find an artist who uses a method that mimics nature’s recipe. If I was near, I would go to this guy in a heartbeat.

01:22 Assessing the client's natural features, such as the forehead muscle, helps determine the starting point for the hairline.
03:13 Using facial thirds helps establish symmetry, ensuring the placement of the hairline aligns with the client's facial features.
06:14 Mapping points in the temple areas and using facial landmarks, like the eye socket, aids in creating a natural-looking side profile for SMP.
13:28 Points 4 and 5 on the side profile are usually set at about 3.5 to 4 cm, maintaining a natural appearance.
15:19 The five-point hairline is used as a guide to create a customized shape, considering the client's preferences, such as a slightly receded look.
18:42 Adjustments are made based on client feedback, and the finalized shape is agreed upon before proceeding with the SMP treatment.
21:30 Using a phone on photo mode helps assess the hairline's overall symmetry and make any necessary adjustments before final approval.
22:45 Documenting the process with photos from different angles allows the client to visualize and understand the created hairline before the SMP treatment begins.

7:38 the temple areas… I’d suggest you could have separate content/video/training courses on temples alone. I think even the most experienced artists would benefit from taking a specialist temple forming course / refresher. Just an idea but hopefully useful to you.

I know that SMP will suit me well. The only thing that prevents me from doing so is that I have not found a practitioner that tackles the science of creating the best hairline/most natural looking. I absolutely ADORE how you dissect the method of creating a very natural hairline. My problem is I live in the US and I cannot afford to go to the UK. Any suggestion as to the practitioner here in the US I can go to simulate the same expertise that you have?................Your work is much appreciated
