    Not so sure about Smp? It's alot of money - then you have the risk of it fading. I think I'd rather save my money and stay bald 😢

    • @GeorgeLista
      @GeorgeLista 11 днів тому

      On my way to my third session and it’s made a big difference. There are some fading issues but the artist you choose will see that and work with you to touch up and perfect. Depending on a lot of factors you might go back for a refresh a few years down the line if you feel necessary, many don’t.

    • @yt-user03561
      @yt-user03561 10 днів тому

      I've been at this for four and a half years as a client. If you want my opinion? Don't bother with it. Get a hair transplant. You will spend almost as much anyway for an SMP and there are a lot of things that can go wrong with ink fading or botched migration. And if you want to fix it? Guess what? The only solution right now is laser tattoo removal which takes foreveeeeerrrrr. So you would have to wear a wig or a toupee on your scalp while you are waiting for months at a time depending on the number of laser sessions you need. Honestly, it's not worth it unless you get lucky and have a world class artist do it and not some hole in the wall PMU stylist shop.

      @@PAVEL-JAKL I agree. It's even more unfair to have a botch job done and then having to go through 2x the public humiliation of having it removed and going several months looking like the sun scorched the top of your head meanwhile the artist still gets paid and very rarely if ever does it come back on them.

    Finding this video is like finding the Holy Grail! I’m new to SMP and one thing I’ve noticed are arrogant artists free-handing hairlines with no strategy other than their ego. What I’ve noticed with those artists are all of their clients have a hairline that is higher on the left side as if that’s their company’s signature touch. It’s as if their clients don’t deserve an explanation of the method to their madness. This video on the other hand, gives me hope to find an artist who uses a method that mimics nature’s recipe. If I was near, I would go to this guy in a heartbeat.

    Perhaps the best SMP I’ve ever seen done. Word of warning for blonde, grey and light haired people. You need to keep your hair as short as this guy for it to look natural. Any longer and the sunlight will reflect on the hair follicles causing it to glisten/sparkle. This will obviously look dumb if only your true hair glistens, while your SMP doesn’t, giving away its not real hair.

  • @Hologhoul
    @Hologhoul Місяць тому

    The main reasons to avoid it: (1) clinics not really knowing exactly what they're doing, inconsistent methods and approaches from different practitioners. (2) Looks dreadful in modern, artificial light. Often doesn't show, or looks patchy, shows up the hairline (hence I like Creative Scalp's offering of softening it). (3) Shaving your dome every day. You can get a bit older, just not care so much, and wish you could go back to how it was before. I've experienced all of the above.

    7:38 the temple areas… I’d suggest you could have separate content/video/training courses on temples alone. I think even the most experienced artists would benefit from taking a specialist temple forming course / refresher. Just an idea but hopefully useful to you.

    Does he shave his head with a razor/foil shaver now it’s finished? Or must it be always using trimmers? Concerned about imbalance of tattooed skin next to areas of hair growth. Can’t make sense of it at the moment. From far away they all look good but if you’re face to face with someone and you’re looking at half tattoo on skin and half clippered length hair especially on the temple/sides like I have, it must surely look weird and obviously fake seeing hair follicles appearing further back on the head making the painted skin obvious to the eye. Sorry, anxiety is at full blast now because I’ve had my first session with an artist I’m trying hard to keep faith with.

    • @creativescalps5962
      @creativescalps5962 Місяць тому

      Length of stubble left on each client is different according to the natural density of their native hair. Some choose clippers, others choose razor or foils… Your artist should hopefully be able to blend it through seamlessly and you’ll work out what is best for you as the treatment progresses.

    • @GeorgeLista
      @GeorgeLista Місяць тому

      @@creativescalps5962 thank you, I realised the artist was working on the assumption I was having clipper length because that’s what they feel looks best while I was assuming it would be how I always have it’d shaved 😅 get there in the end 🙏🏼

    After SMP, do they have to maintain a certain hair length or can they razor/foil shave the scalp? Wondering about imbalance of tattooed skin next to areas of hair growth. Can’t make sense of it at the moment. From far away they all look good but if you’re face to face with someone and you’re looking at half tattoo on skin and half clippered length hair especially on the temple/sides like I have, it must surely look weird and obviously fake.

    Some of the best results ive seen but all these companies charge way too much for this ... I get the good ones are skillled and its a specialist job but i cant see how they can justify £1500/2000 for something that only lasts a few years by their own admission....these firms could easily half the price and still make a very nice profit but they capitilise on insecure mens desperation... If the results lasted 10 years it would be more appealing but they would prob do a lot more business and make more money overall if they reduced their prices...truth is , they dont really care about helping people but soley making money

    A recent Swedish study found that tattoos caused a 21% increase in blood cancers and that the size of the tattoo had little effect on this percentage. I’ve also heard of people getting swollen lymph nodes as a reaction to the ink both with tattoos and SMP. My question is do you know the difference in ink composition and are SMP inks ‘safer’? Interested in possibly getting SMP in the future but as it’s a much smaller industry than the tattoo industry there’s little info on its safety, particularly over he long-term if you’re getting touch ups over the years.

    • @creativescalps5962
      @creativescalps5962 2 місяці тому

      Hello… Yes swollen lymph nodes is a rare reaction that people can get from the SMP . I believe this is more to do with the needle stimulation on the scalp than a reaction to the ink. Anyone who has had this reaction that I know of has reported that it lasted a maximum of a week and there was no problem. With regards to the ink and cancer, I’m no doctor but with SMP there is no contraindication as we are a lot shallower in the skin so should not enter the blood stream. SMP ink relative to tattoo ink should be classed as the same, we mix it for different shades differently but essentially it is the same product. I hope this helps ?
