    Great acoustic version. I like it this way I've never been able to get into the version by Willie.

    Sounds great, all around but ….the Federales did NOT let Pancho slip away. You rightfully credit TVZ, now get the lyrics right, please. Changes the story…

      Oh man, you're right! Good catch Richard. I am embarrassed to admit that I hadn't noticed that twist in the lyric- seems so obvious now... Thanks for letting me know! I will get it right in all future versions : )

      @@jemmermusic Thanks so much, Jackson. Emmylou was the first to use the slip away for the rhyme, and great as she is it started something. Most people think I make way to big a deal of it...glad you appreciate the real story, it is a classic.
