  • I like to do things a little bit differently on my channel so today im bored with melting the stuff i already have so ill take my best friend Ingot to the local hardware store to get something to melt. Again i normally say if you like the rings shown and used in this video be sure to check out the description where you can get 20% off the already discounted rings using my code and if you want to try your hand at melting yourself you can buy the burner on its own or the whole furnace set up and I can organise a 5% link for you of the total furnace price just email me on the link in the description😁👍🏻.

HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it??????.
    ****************************************************
    STEEL FOR MY FRIEND
I keep all my steel and cast iron pieces and I give them to my friend and once he gets about a tonne from me and his own collecting he takes that to the scrapyard and sells it then he buys some beer and comes over to my house and we make a night of it.
No My friend doesn’t have a UA-cam channel he just scraps metal in his spare time.

I don't think that's physically possible because as you pour, the metal cools somewhat. Sometimes, depending on the ambient temperature, it cools fast enough to make separate layers instead of just waves. In that situation, you'd probably want to do a remelt

The people who disliked are those who wanted these bolts but the staff of the supermarket said, "there was a cranky looking guy with a cute dog who bought all the leftover brass bolts and when asked told he wanted to make a brick out of it
I think he was joking or maybe was high because I mean who does that kind of stuff"😂😂
Btw love your videos and find them really satisfying and motivating and really informative(I don't know how but still I do)🥰😍
Also the best thing about you is that you don't have a weird filler music on loop that gives a headache and also allows people to learn instead of getting angry over the same music tone repeating again and again
Also like if you find the ice part satisfying even though it makes noice of screeching tires and love the way he mentions every precaution at every step required for not dying😂😂

I prefer Trash to Treasure, because it´s really interesting to see how your work can create something worth to keep or sell. But I don't get the point on buying a final product (that is useful itself) and turning it into a brass bar...

What I failed to show was I got these brass pieces from a new old stock and I actually picked them up for cheaper than their scrap value but unfortunately I didn’t have my camera filming when I pick them up out of the bargain bin, so It was actually a great purchase 👍🏻

Yes this is just something different I got all these faults only for a couple of dollars as they were clearance items as old new stock but I stuffed up and edited out the clearance tray unfortunately but don’t stress next week I’m back to the good old scrapping melting old broken stuff again

Unfortunately in some of my videos I might spend $3 in gas to make an ingot worth $2.50 But as this is all purely a hobby I do to relax I don’t mind if it cost me a few dollars here and there that’s why I stack everything up on the shelf and never ever sell it.
