When you said you "don't read the bible" thats where you find His authority and the confidence to stand 10 toes down on His Word, His promises, His path for your personal life. True. They also don’t walk in the Love principles of Christ. It’s more Pharisitic and legalistic and nothing tethered to Christ. That is a great number within the Christian community and it has turned more people towards atheism. Tangential but it’s the truth.

I have a friend who’s husband has a terminal illness, they have two children 7 and 5. Fasting and praying for his healing their family really upped my walk in the spirit. Like their wellbeing became secondary to my own at one point. I knew God was looking out for me but praying for them became priority! Never had I experienced such spiritual breakthrough. The presence of God was the sweetest I couldn’t wait to get back to Him/back to the word.
Wow! I have been watching you for years. I remember your LA days as a photographer, when you had your business, when you closed the business, and a host of other adventures leading you to find Max, marriage and family. I love how you are transparent about your journey to God. Right now, God is transitioning me to a Christian author. He is guiding me through creating Christian journals, writing a devotional book, and then another book. I’ve built my relationship with God for a long time. One thing I know is that He will answer when you call Him. Be blessed in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Some key aspects of my spiritual walk are definitely worship and journaling!! The Lord has called me to have my personal journal, a dream journal, and a prayer/bible study journal. Through these I always find myself testifying, glorifying, worshiping, and praying through my writing!
PRAYER STOOOOOORMMM FAMILY IN THE HOUSE!!! I've been watching you over like the last 10 years and it's SOOO AWESOME to see the Lord's hand in your life. As He's working on me, He's working on others as well and it's just beautiful!! The Lord snatched me up soooo randomly over James Kawalya's video in November of last year. It plunged me into my very first 40 day fast and I learned about consecration. I haven't been the same since! Prayer Storm is a big part of that. You have strangers praying for you, Maya! What a testimony! I am interested in doing a 40 day fast, I am curious and scared of what may come if it. I did a 21 day and it was powerful!! Hard...but POWERFUL! I will check out the Prayer storm channel
My son consistently wakes up at 3 am every night and I help him go back to sleep but then I end up having trouble going back to sleep. Thank you for that reminder Maya to pray during that time because honestly I would scroll and scroll on social media until I get sleepy. This video is a reminder for me to be prayed up!
You know the Holy Spirit is using both me and your son to get you to pray for 3am! That’s a window in the spirit realm! I get that call like twice a week otherwise 4:30 consistently

Fasting with prayer has really helped me to "crucify" the desires of the flesh...It's like telling your flesh, "You are not in control, the Holy Spirit is." It really works!!!
@originalmix2546 Fasting is a spiritual act so it's hard to explain how it works, but you spend time in prayer and abstain from sin and eating for a period of time and somehow through it, God gives you strength to resist temptation when it arises and you also gain spiritual discernment. If you have demons, they will exit your body after a time. Mark 9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. Avoid worldly entertainment & social media, spend time singing to God, reading your bible, praying, and just drink water. The more you want to overcome is the more days you fast.
Our Pastor yesterday was teaching the importance of praying in the spirit first and then in understanding. Our Heavenly language is our sword of truth, the devil cannot steal our truth with God. I pray that everyone leans into praying in the spirit. It is a game changer.

Tip: if you're dreaming about something especially if the atmosphere of the dream is "dark" and then you wake up, immediately get up and pray about that dream 🙏🏾

Psalm 91 and Ephesians 6 are my daily prayers before I start my day because I live in Vancouver and the streets are not safe here anymore. I love, love all the prophetic books and lately, I am getting into a routine because I need discipline - I do some Old Testament reading I should be starting with a Psalm of Praise to the Lord of all Lords, a daily dose of Proverbs, and then a New Testament reading and I am currently in Hebrews and my mind is being blown.

I am literally going through all of this right now, I had to pray and ask God to let me know when to read and stop in the Bible because I noticed I was reading a chapter everyday just to read and say I read! But was barely remembering and understanding sometimes. But now I read and meditate sometimes in one sentence or a small paragraph and I'm taking away more than I was when I was reading one full chapter !! But it works because i understand now and I receive the word he has for me in that moment!! But I appreciate your wise words and will be subscribing ☺️
This definitely reminds me that we are not alone in this walk! I am in a season of learning Jesus and His character better and in my 7 years of claiming that I am a Christian, I don't believe I've ever sat to truly take the time to say "Hey God, I wanna get to know you". I truly desire to know him in spirit and in truth. Though I have the spiritual knowledge and can pray in the spirit etc there is something about Him being hidden in our hearts that I am trying to grasp and cling onto. It feels like I am a baby again trying to learn how to walk, but I appreciate how merciful He is to have given me the opportunity to take those small steps again and truly learn how to workout my salvation. Before this I was spiritual exhausted engaging in all the spiritual things and becoming aware of demons that I think I lost consciousness of the true power of God! He is so GOOD!

Wowww, I remember watching you maybe like 10-12 years ago. I saw you were getting into very worldy spiritual things. It broke my heart, you can always see when someone would be on fire for Christ and the enemy has them confused for that reason. Jesus had been waiting for you, so beautiful sis!! Mannnn, levels?! You aint lyinnnn!! The further in your walk, you'll see those ppl on different levels, like WOWW so yall exist?! And youll hit new aspirations for Christ THROUGH watching other brothers and sisters hitting those levels. Like Lord, I want to be with you on that level. Spiritual warfare is real because God is real. I love the little comic reenactment (9:55) of Ephesians 6:17 the sword of the spirit! It's funny but it's real. The armour of God is needed and I pray we can all put on our armour when the enemy strikes. It's true, the more closer we become to God, the more the enemy wants to divide, destroy steal and kill with its tactics. I'm going over this video many times and making notes. Thank you Maya. Lately I've been meeting with a group of women for bible study and prayer. I've been a believer almost all of my life, and I've gone through periods of intense community, intense questioning, intense service, and more recently intense solitude. Now, I have been really benefitted from committing to this weekly bible study and am thankful God led me to them.
Wow, when you mention that you didn't know how to pray. I can relate to that. For some reason growing up, I was not taught how to pray, I was given prayer to recite and when I got older it's like I was supposed to know how to. I had to learn how to pray as well. I learnt through eating and drinking the WORD, an elder at church taught me by breaking down the Lord's Prayer and I also looked for resources on UA-cam. Yes, when you get up early all our prayers go up to God as sweet incense. 5 am Trinidad and Tobago time 😊🙏🏽 keeping going, God is doing something wonderful in his people.

Hi beautiful 👋🥰 it makes me my heart smile to see how you’ve evolved into a TRUE woman of God. He is pleased. 🔥 This was so refreshing and factual as one that is climbing out of over all burnout. I believe those that are praying for those lengthy hours are splitting them up through out the day with a mixer of using their heavenly language/tongues and natural. Fasting Kills the flesh as to why it’s difficult at first but once you master self control and not bow to your stomach nothing can stop you. True Biblical fasting is turning down one’s plate/cup. Abstaining from tv/ social media, etc is simple sacrifices or consecrating. But does bring deliverance, revelation and cleansing.Reading Gods word brings revelation and direction as well as it is a living thing breathed from God. Thank God for Holy Spirit which I liken to the CIA when it comes to discernment. Yes Jesus is real and MAN what a day that will be when He returns. 🙌🏽

Talking about God, encouraging each other is super important. Even if it's through Zoom! I've been watching 2819 church which has been a blessing!! Also, things like guarding our heart through forgiveness and not taking up offense will really help our spiritual growth😊
Always love your videos ! I’ve been praying in the morning around 8 AM. (Toronto time) Starts off with a devotional (trying to also add in some writing into my gratitude journal) then I get straight into prayer! The “Our father prayer” comes first then whatever else comes to Mind. I’ve also been fasting up until 6PM each day, it gets easier with each day but much easier to do when keeping busy. ❤ My spiritual walk has been fantastic ! God has been revealing so much to me about him and myself ! It’s necessary.

In my spiritual walk, praising, and singing hymns to myself over my circumstances like the army in 2Chronicles, they were on the front lines to fight in battle and they chose to sing & God fought their battle for them as they were praising Him. Praise confuses the enemy as I overcome and claim victory over my mind, period

I also love listening to instrumentals while I pray. William Augusto has beautiful albums solely for worshiping or “soaking” in God’s presence. It’s what helped me stay in prayer longer. The pressure to pray words is removed and I end up singing or just praising God for who he is. Edit: and thank you for these tips Maya! Some key aspects of my spiritual walk are definitely worship and journaling!! The Lord has called me to have my personal journal, a dream journal, and a prayer/bible study journal. Through these I always find myself testifying, glorifying, worshiping, and praying through my writing!

The Lord snatched me up soooo randomly over James Kawalya's video in November of last year. It plunged me into my very first 40 day fast and I learned about consecration. I haven't been the same since! Prayer Storm is a big part of that.

My son consistently wakes up at 3 am every night and I help him go back to sleep but then I end up having trouble going back to sleep. Thank you for that reminder Maya to pray during that time because honestly I would scroll and scroll on social media until I get sleepy. This video is a reminder for me to be prayed up!
You know the Holy Spirit is using both me and your son to get you to pray for 3am! That’s a window in the spirit realm! I get that call like twice a week otherwise 4:30 consistently

Fasting with prayer has really helped me to "crucify" the desires of the flesh...It's like telling your flesh, "You are not in control, the Holy Spirit is." It really works!!!

@originalmix2546 Fasting is a spiritual act so it's hard to explain how it works, but you spend time in prayer and abstain from sin and eating for a period of time and somehow through it, God gives you strength to resist temptation when it arises and you also gain spiritual discernment. If you have demons, they will exit your body after a time.
Mark 9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
Avoid worldly entertainment & social media, spend time singing to God, reading your bible, praying, and just drink water. The more you want to overcome is the more days you fast.
Our Pastor yesterday was teaching the importance of praying in the spirit first and then in understanding. Our Heavenly language is our sword of truth, the devil cannot steal our truth with God. I pray that everyone leans into praying in the spirit. It is a game changer.

Tip: if you're dreaming about something especially if the atmosphere of the dream is "dark" and then you wake up, immediately get up and pray about that dream 🙏🏾

You give your audience and the world the real, Real Good News. Psalm 91 and Ephesians 6 are my daily prayers before I start my day because I live in Vancouver and the streets are not safe here anymore. I love, love all the prophetic books and lately, I am getting into a routine because I need discipline - I do some Old Testament reading I should be starting with a Psalm of Praise to the Lord of all Lords, a daily dose of Proverbs, and then a New Testament reading and I am currently in Hebrews and my mind is being blown.

I am literally going through all of this right now, I had to pray and ask God to let me know when to read and stop in the Bible because I noticed I was reading a chapter everyday just to read and say I read! But was barely remembering and understanding sometimes. But now I read and meditate sometimes in one sentence or a small paragraph and I'm taking away more than I was when I was reading one full chapter !! But it works because i understand now and I receive the word he has for me in that moment!! But I appreciate your wise words and will be subscribing ☺️

This definitely reminds me that we are not alone in this walk! I am in a season of learning Jesus and His character better and in my 7 years of claiming that I am a Christian, I don't believe I've ever sat to truly take the time to say "Hey God, I wanna get to know you". I truly desire to know him in spirit and in truth. Though I have the spiritual knowledge and can pray in the spirit etc there is something about Him being hidden in our hearts that I am trying to grasp and cling onto. It feels like I am a baby again trying to learn how to walk, but I appreciate how merciful He is to have given me the opportunity to take those small steps again and truly learn how to workout my salvation. Before this I was spiritual exhausted engaging in all the spiritual things and becoming aware of demons that I think I lost consciousness of the true power of God! He is so GOOD!

It broke my heart, you can always see when someone would be on fire for Christ and the enemy has them confused for that reason. Jesus had been waiting for you, so beautiful sis!! Mannnn, levels?! Spiritual warfare is real because God is real. I love the little comic reenactment (9:55) of Ephesians 6:17 the sword of the spirit! It's funny but it's real. The armour of God is needed and I pray we can all put on our armour when the enemy strikes. It's true, the more closer we become to God, the more the enemy wants to divide, destroy steal and kill with its tactics. I'm going over this video many times and making notes. Thank you Maya. I don’t even know where to start explaining my journey but I know God had a divine plan for me though my struggles and exploration; every other religion, the Quran, witchcraft, eastern religions, atheism and esoteric journeys and yes psychedelics all led me back to JESUS! I already prayed and journaled this morning but I had to open my Bible and take notes from this video and pray along with you. Lately I've been meeting with a group of women for bible study and prayer. I've been a believer almost all of my life, and I've gone through periods of intense community, intense questioning, intense service, and more recently intense solitude. Now, I have been really benefitted from committing to this weekly bible study and am thankful God led me to them.

Wow, when you mention that you didn't know how to pray. I can relate to that. For some reason growing up, I was not taught how to pray, I was given prayer to recite and when I got older it's like I was supposed to know how to. I had to learn how to pray as well. I learnt through eating and drinking the WORD, an elder at church taught me by breaking down the Lord's Prayer and I also looked for resources on UA-cam.
Yes, when you get up early all our prayers go up to God as sweet incense. 5 am Trinidad and Tobago time 😊🙏🏽 keeping going, God is doing something wonderful in his people.

This was so refreshing and factual as one that is climbing out of over all burnout. I believe those that are praying for those lengthy hours are splitting them up through out the day with a mixer of using their heavenly language/tongues and natural. Fasting Kills the flesh as to why it’s difficult at first but once you master self control and not bow to your stomach nothing can stop you. True Biblical fasting is turning down one’s plate/cup. Abstaining from tv/ social media, etc is simple sacrifices or consecrating. But does bring deliverance, revelation and cleansing.Reading Gods word brings revelation and direction as well as it is a living thing breathed from God. Thank God for Holy Spirit which I liken to the CIA when it comes to discernment. Yes Jesus is real and MAN what a day that will be when He returns. 🙌🏽

Talking about God, encouraging each other is super important. Even if it's through Zoom! I've been watching 2819 church which has been a blessing!! Also, things like guarding our heart through forgiveness and not taking up offense will really help our spiritual growth😊

I’ve been praying in the morning around 8 AM. (Toronto time) Starts off with a devotional (trying to also add in some writing into my gratitude journal) then I get straight into prayer!
The “Our father prayer” comes first then whatever else comes to Mind.
I’ve also been fasting up until 6PM each day, it gets easier with each day but much easier to do when keeping busy. ❤
My spiritual walk has been fantastic ! God has been revealing so much to me about him and myself !

In my spiritual walk, praising, and singing hymns to myself over my circumstances like the army in 2Chronicles, they were on the front lines to fight in battle and they chose to sing & God fought their battle for them as they were praising Him. Praise confuses the enemy as I overcome and claim victory over my mind, period

On prayer , I’m praying all through the day, but we should have set times of prayer. This is good Mya. Keeping sharing.
I also love listening to instrumentals while I pray. William Augusto has beautiful albums solely for worshiping or “soaking” in God’s presence. It’s what helped me stay in prayer longer. The pressure to pray words is removed and I end up singing or just praising God for who he is.
