One of the most underrated courses in the country IMO. I've played 85 of the Top 100 courses in the country and I can't wrap my head around how this course doesn't make that list. Some of the most engaging terrain, compelling shot, and best conditioning you'll ever come across.
@@jrouillard44 Just trying to give context ha ha. I've been in too many conversations where guys say, "This should be Top 100!" and they've played like three courses on that list ha ha. When it averages out to just 2 courses per state and you have states like NY and CA taking 10+ spots each, you realize just how tough it is to make that list; but Omaha CC is certainly worthy.
Having played Augusta National a few times, I can honestly admit that it isn't as great as one would hope. I have played many better. This track looks exceptional and I may have to arrange a few rounds.
I worked at OCC in 2013 when the hosted the US Senior Open the first time, played it 5 times or so. Video didn't quite capture the contour of #4 fairway and green (you see how bad TC missed the putt and Ben's comment about thinking it broke the other way). #7 is so much better in person. And I'm sad they didn't show any of #16, a long par 5 with a great green complex.
I don’t get the point of these course vlogs of late - they lack character and depth, they don’t even cover the basic price and accessibility?!? The banter of NLU really seems to be drying up. Perhaps just me missing the creative angle here
The most relatable thing I've ever heard:
"Is that over the back?"
"No, it's like 40 yards short."
More Ben. His game is fantastic and his analysis is always controlled but insightful. Love to see more of him.
Omaha CC has one of the sweetest logos. Love how NLU brings these Crash course out right before their is a big tournament at the venue.
The most sweetest logo i seen for me is Salish Cliff golf in shelton, wa.

Subtle flex there lol

what are your top 5 of the 85?
@@egante Pine Valley, Cypress Point, National Golf Links of America, Fishers Island, and Pebble Beach.
Love it, can’t wait to see Ben featured in more content. How there has not been a Wild World of Golf at Brough Creek National keeps me in bewilderment
Great job @Ben thanks for pointing us in the direction of the Crash Course!!
That 18th looks sick, awesome video and narrating Ben!
No Laying Up x Some Guys Backyard-The Greatest Collab
Beautiful course! Terrific commentary by a super cutie pie (I may be biased)!
Love Perry Maxwell designs. Great vid guys.
Trying to figure out why Ben is not featured on the channel. Articulate, engaging, authentic, not to mention that move. Why not?
Way more Ben, way less Neal!!!
@@jeffrey9195 eh, way less Tron - hope this doesn’t mean the big guy is moving on though.
Been out there a couple times when I lived in Omaha but never got to play the course.
Love BH, always provides great commentary great content
Need more Nebraska courses featured! Indian Creek, Champions Club, Quarry, Sandhills, Prairie Club
Quarry for a public course is phenomenal.
Wild horse, firethorn, p club, dismal red, CapRock and soon to be landmand. SH will always be SH though
I had a chance to play Omaha CC about 6 years ago, it was pristine ! Such a fun course and challenging to boot.
such a beautiful course, nice vlog!
nice, Ben... good work!
Course looks beautiful. And super playable.
Great video and amazing content!
“Nebraska is my favorite golf state”?? Wow.
Thought that was tron till the hat came off and there was no skullet
SKULLET lmao
I would buy a SKULLET tee or hat Merch Czar, if you’re out there.
Would probably need to incorporate a glass of red wine and lefty club into the design, kinda of like a crest
What is Ben’s status with NLU?? He’s sort of like “of counsel”.
Where is the newest episodes of Strapped?
The people demand answers!
wait that's not Tron?
Well maintained Perry Maxwell course….nothing better.
More Ben!
Lil Army-Navy vibes to it fasho!
"40 degrees when we teed off". Big reason why I moved from Omaha. 😂
Where is the auto flex Ben?
Ben needs to be on the pod.
good caddie there.. always ready to give his man the putter.
WHY YOU TALKING ABOUT MY CLUB!?!?!?!

How many? Which ones? Why? Just curious.
@@daleschmitz5832 I can't recall the names, but Torrey Pines is one
Solly......
you know.
Caddy Ethan is a dead ringer for Val Kilmer.
So invigorating watching another course vlog of a private club that I will never be able to play. Isn’t golf just the best.
Course looks pure, but none of the holes really stood out to me.
I feel like that’s part of the beauty to Midwest parkland golf. I.e. Inverness, Oakland Hills, Omaha CC, Milwaukee CC
