- Does the CRBN eraser really work?
I show you how to clean your raw carbon fiber paddles with an eraser similar to the CRBN eraser for sale on their site. The eraser really worked to clean the face and remove residue, ball particles, floor dust, dirt, and other debris. If you wan't to clean your paddle to keep the fibers optimized I highly recommend getting one of these types of erasers.

The CRBN cleaner is far superior, it is softer and stickier to pick the plastic off the face of the peel ply.

This material is quite hard, harder than the original eraser. Would it damage the paddle (chip away the carbon surface)?
I've been using this for all of my carbon fiber surfaces and it's done an amazing job with no chipping or degradation that I can see.
What is this alternative carbon fiber cleaner material? Where can I buy it?
Hey Jim, the description has the links to the items on Amazon I have used and one I've heard works well.

This eraser he’s using is the same that woodworkers use to clean sanding belts and pads. They do clean sanding pads very well and prolong the life of the sandpaper. I can see it working on a paddle as well.
Please send me the link 🙏
Thank you in advance
I think you will find that the product your friend gave you is sold for cleaning belt sanders / sanding discs ... Been around for many decades. Not designed for cleaning carbon fiber but many who bought the expensive cleaners sold by paddle manufactures claim it feels like the same product. S Just not black in color which is better to stamp a white company logo onto. I hear art erasers which are just a bit softer also work well and also a fraction of the cost of the paddle manufactures product.
Yes I understand that the material is basically the same for all of the carbon erasers. Marketing does wonders in terms of getting us to buy in to what we think is proprietary material. This hasn't done any damage to any of my paddles since this video.
