Yea I'd imagine the US economy is the main reason for the layoffs, Nintendo and Capcom are both japanese companies so it makes sense they're not laying off the bulk of their staff. Sucks to see so many talented people out of work though :C

About TF2: Source 2 and Portal N64 and also TF: Classic, from what I've heard TF Source 2, breached Copyright because they used TF2 Original Asset, The portal one was requested by Nintendo after the developer was revealed to be using Nintendo Offical Devkit which Nintendo didn't like, and the Classic also used Valves original asset if I'm not wrong
I think Vimms got hit with a bot, cause one of the games that got hit was this random Wii game called Super Sonic Racer that has nothing to do with SEGA or the Sonic character.

Yea from what I saw the way they LEGO had their games handled was really respectable, they took down most of their larger titles that you can still buy on steam but left up random games for nintendo handhelds from the 2000s that are unobtainable... that or they just didn't get around to taking them down lol. I think the modern gaming industry uses convince for their own greed so much that It is continuing to kill new releases. How many times has games come out just to be broken and they promise updates and small side shut to make up for their lazy asses. I personally got tired of this and went for the retro games or games released like 2 or 3 years ago on modern hardware due to them actually being finished finally. This year I got Tekken 8 that's it and from launch to now I haven't had any issues surprisingly but in past years the crazy shit these companies have pulled is crazy. The King of Fighters 15 also comes to mind when thinking of wonderful games that has released wonderfully. If the gaming industry continues with this awful business practices then a gaming crash is possible. Cool video. ^_^

I agree with most of this, and I don't know if this counts as a nitpick or just me not understanding the problem, but isn't Deadlock being like other games kind of, how games work? Like don't get me wrong, Valve neglecting their games is horrible, but making a new game that is a combination of other games, some they own, just seems like them making a game. Most games can be described as Blank+Blank, Legends Arceus is BotW mixed with Pokemon just off the top of my head. If I am coming off as ride I am very sorry and don't mean to, I'm just a little confused on that point, and other confusion than that the video was great!

I'm sorry, as a gamedev i would love to watch this video. but my eyes hurt from the saturation (I was able to watch 56 seconds). I would suggest learning color grading.
I've mostly just grown out of interest when it comes to the genre. That said if there's a wild and interesting story like that of CSOM I'd be more than happy to discuss it! I'm probably not entirely done with After the Flash but I dont think I'll ever go back to solely making videos on it either. If you have any suggestions for something more specific you'd like to see a video on though I'd love to hear it! :D

Let's not forget that Counterstrike was originally a MOD for the original Half Life. It's abysmal that they've decided to take the Nintendo route.
