Amazing job performed to save that nice generator, but I have few remarks regarding measurements.
With the scope, the 50 ohm termination must be at the end of the coaxial cable, that means at the scope input because of the natural low pass filtering of an unadaptated transmission line (you might also experience errors at the measuring point due to standing wave induced by impedance mismatch at the scope input). Usually, this can be done just by selecting 50 ohms dc coupling at the scope channel input instead of 1M by default. (Of course, if the scope can't do that, you could put the tee and its load at the scope input)
With the spectrum analyser, you must narrow the span while keeping a RBW high enough for accurate power measurement. And for modulation checks, you definitively need to reduce the sweep time keeping a narrow RBW to see the correct signal (one carrier and two lateral bands in AM, several bands in FM depending on excursion and modulation index)

A little late to the party but had to comment on how beautiful this unit is. Great repair! That analog meter badly needs a lamp.

Another piece of top shelf equipment given a little love for the next chapter of its life. Thanks for posting!

Yes its calibrated in rms on the meter . I have the A model for 20 years no freq counter. Also you mentioned in a previous video output meter not going to zero. The manual states to use the upper end of the range for accurcy. When you turn the Vernier down on any given scale it sould stop at the next scale below the scale your on amount and then go up fron there , it never goes to zero.

Thanks for the info, I suspected this is how the meter worked

And using a gpsdo to feed freq std to both machines will help too

Would be nice if it went just a bit lower to cover the radio IF frequencies as well. But very nice generator.

Yes, very desirable piece of gear but somewhat limited in it's use today

You must use way smaller span and rbw to measure freq and power in the SA with so so accuracy
