So, have you rode the older models SX 650/750? How does it compare.. seems like it long and perhaps pretty heavy in the front end. From the few videos I've seen it looks like it will need a scope, ride plate and pole spring. Mine just came in and I will be picking it up soon
Chris Craft I've only ridden the SXR800 in the family. It is more unstable at slower speeds I think due to weight and length...it tends to want to roll rather than turn. As I said at the end, minimum pole spring/tensioner, scoop, ride plate and steering/bars
Thanks Ted, I've had it out twice now and like you said it will take a little to get use to, of course it could be the fact that I haven't rode a standup 20 years...
i want one....these are cool
Can't wait to get mine in the water.

Picking mine up Saturday, looking forward to riding again.
I've ridden 550s and 650s, this feels like a 650 in weight. It is heavier, but it's also a matter of getting used to it - much more power too.

Its things like this that make me wish I didn't swim like a rock.
Moto - Jimbo That is what the life vest is for. I like to float for a while.

very quiet?
David C camera is not picking up all of the sound. It is much louder.
oh ok, im looking for the quietest one...lol im hoping this 4stroke is like a typical sitdown in terms of sound
It is similar to a STX sound.
seems pretty quiet but very fast
David C it’s kind of loud at idle but sounds as if your right by a running boat and at any speed it’s all wind to me, just my .02
mitica lA compro
If i wanted a boat, i would buy a boat. I work at a kawasaki dealership this thing is way to big.
How many times did you ride it? How does it compare to the ski you have now?
It sounds like it's electric lol
Claybue Very polite while it hails ass haha
The camera is not picking up much of the sound.
It's not that quiet in reality, video sound here does not capture it well
