Make sure use Motul 300V Competition 5W40 Synthetic Ester Racing Engine Motor Oil (5 x 2L). Also install the alfissimo oil catch can. If you have a 2017-2019 you may run into some bumps with the center tube on the pcv if it has a heating element
@@joebama6945 I’ll definitely install a catch can. I purchased the kit with Rowe oil…I’ll consider Motul on the next change…getting some fresh oil in there is priority at this point
No worries but thanks! I just watched a couple of your videos and I see you have your Black SQV up n running 👏🏽 I’ll be doing more work on mine so I’ll keep you in mind. Happy Holidays 🙏🏽🎄
Black Carbon series with sparcos. The sparcos are nice but front not heated or steering wheel. That’s a bummer. Also not so sure about the weaved carbon fiber trim
Hey, not sure if anybody else has told you this, but you really need to change the oil and I guess that plugs giving you a hard time the 2.9 has a dipstick just have the oil extracted. You can go to any oil place and they’ll extract it for you. I’m not sure how much they’ll get out but they’ll get most of it out and you can still change the oil filterand then just add some fresh oil and at least that’ll buy you some time until you figure out that plug.
Of course I am aware of the need to change the oil…highlighted in other videos. I have my reasons for stretching this out…to be revealed in future episodes 👍🏽
@ wasn’t trying to be rude lol. That came out wrong. Main thing is you can extract old oil through the dipstick and filter is on top of engine so it’s a good way to buy you some more time.
I didn’t take it as rude…and my reply was matter of fact. I welcome and appreciate feedback and advice, because (like everyone) I’m limited to my own experiences. My main point…you probably only saw one video…this one. But just to reiterate, I will release a video in the future with the issue resolved and tie in the lessons learned for the QV community 👍🏽🍀
@@joebama6945 I tried every trick known. Something was done to this bolt/plug. Only an extractor will have a chance to get it now and if not change the pan.
Use induction heater plier 100% works

I actually traded it in for a 2024
@@joebama6945 Oh nice! The Black Super Sport?

@ Yeah the Sparco seats look/feel great…not having heated is a considerable challenge if you’re in the Midwest…still gets cold in GA though 🥶

I have a map sensor and a turbo boost sensor code which is causing limp mode do you know how those can be replaced?
1. 2.9L or 2.0L?
2. Is it the “MAF” sensor?
3. What are the associated codes in question?
Dang over 20k no oil change. Can you get a small pipe wrench on that bolt ?
