Thanks for sharing! Yes the European Court of Justice (ECJ) did rule in favor of Carglass/ATU. This mandated and enforced open access to repair in EU. • Unfortunately, that does not apply here in the U.S. However, a bill, The Right to Equitable and Professional Auto Industry Repair (REPAIR) Act (H.R. 906), was introduced on February 9, 2023. • Some states (California and Minnesota specifically) have passed their own versions of Right to Repair to take effect July 1, 2024. Until then, the SGW module lives on…hence what I shared 🤷🏽‍♂️

Try using realoem.com to locate the part number. Else, take one of the other two bolts and go to Advance Auto, AutoZone, etc. and size it on their bolt/nut sizing chart 👍🏽

Tear down, reassembled, and coding/calibration took me around 8-10 hours. For context that was during the winter in Wisconsin…I don’t know what’s estimated in ISTA+ or shop manuals.

The PCV cap is integrated into the Valve cover itself, you would have to replace the whole thing. The PCV should only be replaced if you have an issue relating to it, As for the hose, I think you should replace it as preventative maintenance

@immortal8039 is correct. It’s integrated into the valve cover. Leaks are the most common signs for gasket failure. In the event of changing that, inspect the cover and change it then…while you’re in there 👍🏽

@ wasn’t trying to be rude lol. That came out wrong. Main thing is you can extract old oil through the dipstick and filter is on top of engine so it’s a good way to buy you some more time.

I didn’t take it as rude…and my reply was matter of fact. I welcome and appreciate feedback and advice, because (like everyone) I’m limited to my own experiences. My main point…you probably only saw one video…this one. But just to reiterate, I will release a video in the future with the issue resolved and tie in the lessons learned for the QV community 👍🏽🍀

@@joebama6945 I tried every trick known. Something was done to this bolt/plug. Only an extractor will have a chance to get it now and if not change the pan.

@ Yeah the Sparco seats look/feel great…not having heated is a considerable challenge if you’re in the Midwest…still gets cold in GA though 🥶
