A great watch!! A narcissistic psychopath invites family over for a game of Clue, but they don't have a clue that he is using them to play a hidden, diabolical game of his own. Well done, well acted, and the original music score is perfect.
This deserves many more views than it's had. I would compare it to Hitchcock's film Rope and a film with Sandra Bullock called Murder By Numbers. I don't know if it's just me but I knew what would trip him up in the end from the moment it was introduced into the plot.
another great film. I loved the small space which created that heavy claustrophobic feeling of being trapped. Well done all around cast and crew, writers, director. curious, was this ever a play. I love how un- Hollywood it is!
Bravo! All parts are perfectly played. Everyone plays the parts of their roles exquisitely. A great premise and this has probably been acted out before as a play, as it feels that way. Highly recommended if you love Hitchcock and psychological thrillers.
This homage to Hitchcock has many interesting touches including the clever graphics in the title, the superbly reminiscent film score and the one set location as in Rope. However the acting is so amateur and the script so plodding, as to make it a difficult watch for the duration of an hour and twenty minutes. The final monologue just about puts the tin hat on it. The project is clearly a labour of love but I’m afraid for me,it just doesn’t work. I even thought it might be a black comedy as it is so risible but I suspect it isn’t. Still, the final twist is hysterically funny. They all had a good time making it I’m sure and that’s another positive.
Blimey. Very very good. All of them held their own. I WANTED to know about ALL of the play. I say play, as a previous commenter thought it was like a play. They were right. It would make a damn good play & film. All the actors were very convincing. I hope you do more & I hope you're on Netflix, at least. Much luck to ALL. ❤❤❤❤😂
For AmDram this is amazing and the script has the makings of a first rate thriller if cut (to remove the overwriting and flabbiness) and performed and directed by professionals
I thought it was perfect just the way it was and it seems a lot of other people commenting here did, too. It was an indie film not a Hollywood thriller like you seem to want to make it.
Noone sits in the middle of a room with no light and reads. Obviously the director doesn't read.Hitchcock? A bad play rather. Camera shots from above has no meaning. Silly amateurish and dumb technique. Pure wannabe with now meaning.
Oh God what an utterly dreadful film banal script and wooden abysmal acting like something out of a tenth rate amateur dramatic production, this film will be loved by millennials
A great watch!!

yes, the music score was like a character of its own!
@@vivie_jones That's quite typical for spoofs. It's part of their charm.

This has all the qualities of a play rather than a movie.
Yes it’s just like a play.
thats exactly what I think. Very much a play not an actual movie
Indeed. But on stage I suspect the pacing of the thing wouldn't lag so badly.
All students of the theatre, I'm sure.
I agree - very stagey.

Brilliant. I loved every minute, of it. Thanks for uploading it.
I love the indie actors. The dialogue is sometime so corny that it is a riot. Thanks!
2 thumbs up! Loved the score. Jack had it all under control, or so he thought . 🤔
Great fun, and I agree nice unexpected twist at the end!
Over halfway through and I began reading the comments. You guys are great! Loved your responses.
If you liked Hitchcock's The Rope, you'll love Candlestick...brilliantly done.
Fantastic,I agree it feels like a play.Superb acting.
Movie starts at 2:10
Thank you!
You👍 are so perfect👏
Great movies, just a perfect ending !! More of this kind please !!

Hitchcock never cut off the top of the actors heads.
If he did, it would create a bloody mess 😊
Thanks for sharing!
Candlestick (2014) - imdb 5.3
Excellent TY for the upload 🎉🎉
Typical narcissist behavior - create the problem than say "only i can fix it"- sound familiar?!
Really captured how people talk to each other in real life .
The film did have the quality of being a play rather than a movie. But implemented well and so most interesting to watch.
I agree, looks like a video of a stage play.
great movie, thank you😊
The opening credits and the first five minutes are frame-by-frame copies of Hitchcock's Psycho.
Really enjoyed this. Ty!
Thank you for sharing! Happy Noirvember 2023😎🌃🎷
Exelent!!
excellent movie.
Way better than High Anxiety!
I found the reference to Midsomer interesting. I wanted to off Uncle myself! LOL 😂😂
Never saw the ending coming.
I love this film/story......ya gotta love the Brits.
That was good!!
a very good ending
Save your time

Is it a police protest, or a blag one so Starlin can show off
Interesting but predictable. Also, it's frustrating when people allow themselves to be manipulated.
Sounds like you want to hold a candlestick party
XLNT psychological study
1:11:10 why would he say the plan out loud.
To liken this to a Hitchcock movie is laughable its more like a village hall AmDram production.

Incredibly boring.
You clearly don't get the slowly building tension running through this film almost all the way to its shocking ending.
Not at all
