Awesome! I didn't know that you chased it. I got it in Illinois and got home late last night. Its a wonder there aren't more auto accidents with the way people drive.
Big boy came to my town in August 2021. But before it got to town, I went down highway so I could see it pass me in full action. When it passed the whole ground shook like an earthquake. When I walked away, I was shaking too, but it was because it was excitement.. This is such a beautiful thing and anyone who gets a chance to see it should take full advantage of it. Take your kids and take your grandkids and take your neighbors kids to see it. This is something that they will never forget.
Your camera angles were superior to all the other ones posted to UA-cam. And I loved the cracked windshield and comments on crazy drivers. This one is better than all the others. Fantastic job!
Thanks jason,we got own cprail steam steam trains but not as big 4014 uprr.the public don't understand is huge planning for both railroad the fuel, peoples, dispatch and time limits they have.the shop work is just insane.thanks again video.😊
Thanks Jason. Great video. Finally, another rail fan as "sick" as I am. Went from Wakefield to Portal ND in April to see the 2816. Went to Duluth MN. in 2019 for the festival of steam and the 4015. Worth every penny and every minute.
Thank you, Jason, for traveling to parts unknown to film such a beauty. Think it would be safer to park your car on the railroad tracks then to drive with those idiots that are in a hurry to get nowhere.
Well, you did get to chase the Big Boy a few years ago, and your footage was pretty darn good❗I for one am NOT going to complain, your arieal views were every bit as good as RedsIowaTrainVidoes.
I must say what a turn out of folks for this old steamer people obviously still love the railroad it just takes a little innovation in to ideas even if there old ideas brought back for people who might have never seen a steamer or some of us older folks who are nostalgic for the old good memories
That Jason is how a good railroad is run!!! And even the Amish have to step out and watch!!! Too bad the Big Boy does not come past Chicago and head up the mainline to Buffalo!!! DE N2JYG
I agree that its a piece of railroad history, but how many times do you have to chase it across the country? I mean that seeing how the rail fans were acting with their driving and being fools to get to the next place to catch it makes me just want to stay home and watch the videos.

This was years ago when I did.
