I remember this season of Canadian Idol and how much I liked Carly. She had/has a unique sound and look which is appealing and what promoters look for in an recording artist but I don't know who was selecting her songs during that season. With the exception of "At Seventeen" thought most of them were awful. They weren't suitable for her vocal range. Just saying. So glad her voice has matured and she sounds so much better now. Carly's new album Emotion is friggin amazing! And her voice Really shines through. She's not very good at singing covers. But when she sings her own songs it really is just perfect enough. And they both have that star power. Which is very important.
