Lol. The cars can't sprint a 500km race like the championship series. Larry proved that VERY wrong at Bathurst. 1000km of pure sprinting. And he won the bloody thing!
If lowndes had have stopped making mistakes like this and a little less bad luck he would have had 2 or 3 more championships and 10 or 11 bathurst wins
Glenn Seton won the championship 96/97 but never won Bathurst The Ford engines were better breathing than the GM engines, hence they could make better HP! Ford 1st, 2nd, 3rd! Great stuff!!!!!!!!!! Not allowed to use welders in their pit garage???? What nonsense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not easy when you're stiffed by your team or sent off the track (costing him a championship) and the category says bad luck, thats racing.
