I run a lawn service. Before then I was a farmer. We would take Hard surface welding rods. And put hard surface on farm equipment. Where the dirt breaking ground would wear the metal. So when I started mowing grass I put hard surface on the cutting edge of the blade. Then sharpen. And where the blades it would wear. We mowed mostly yards that were sand. Clay soils. Do not wear out blades near as fast The blades would last a lot longer.
It was probably the Grass Flap. It’s operated by a foot lever. They’re pretty cool. I’ve used one on some stander mowers I’ve ran before. No problem! Thanks for watching.
you could just put some rubber over the edge of the deck where the chute meets the deck to fill that gap. I can't think of what it's called but it has a groove in it and comes in lengths that you cut to size.
Funny you say that, I’ve considered it actually. Kind of like weatherstripping along a car window or something. Just never really seen a huge need as it’s kind of just an annoyance more than anything. Thanks for watching though! Appreciate it! 👊👊
I just bought a Bad Boy Mower and I'm considering getting Advanced shoot system with mulching blades will that do a decent job in mulch in the grass or do I need a mulching system
It will do a decent job. The Advanced Chute cover I have on my mower is actually made by Bad Boy technically. May have to make a couple passes but it will do decent.
I mean this was filmed over 3 months ago. I may have I can’t remember. Point of the video was to kind of show the chute blocker and what it does. Wish I had different ones to compare, that would have been a cool video. Thanks for watching.
I found that tweezers works best on the mulched up leaves. Just takes like 12 days to do a spot the size of living room. But hey, its only time, & we all got plenty of that nowadays. 😆
Foam seal tape on deck seals that up and keeps the chute from slamming on deck. It's also very cheap!
I’ve been considering doing it. I only cut my grass now so I’m really not worried about it much anymore. But yes, it would work good!
Well done! You’ll probably have to do the a couple more times there this year! Tons of leaves on those trees still. 🔥
Yup! Next one will be done with the Little Wonder though. Leaves go bye bye 🤣🤣

You mentioned you like another chute system better. Could you tell which one that is?
Thanks for the video 👍

Gotta circle it up. Won’t leave lines of debris
Nice job!
I like the bracket in the front.
What is it used for?
I use it for my KartMate featured in this video below!

Put a piece of weatherstripping on the plate

@@3rdTACGolfandFitness I really wish I could have a true mulching kit with the advanced shoot system
@@chadfolmar5900 it may work, I’m really not sure. I have zero experience with Bad Boy Mowers
you mowed that lawn way more than 2 times and you know it

【from HIPA】Would you like to test my parts for your equipment?thank you.
you a re a professional lawn mower?
can i give you a tip go in a circle and you won't have a line of leaves
What a sloppy job! A professional hauls
away debris not leaving it on the lawn
I tried picking all the leaves up 1 by 1 but it was taking too long. Do you have any advice on how to do it better? I have no clue what I’m doing. ☹️
