I love love love watching you work, you are such a kind soul and it shows in your work! You inspire me! I've been looking at real estate in Ga. I made the biggest mistake of my life and moved to florida 18 years ago and got myself stuck here. You know always taking care of someone else. I came from the mountain area of Mass and Vermont, I thought Ga would be a nice compromise. Maybe I'll get lucky and find myself in your neighborhood!

This project is up there near the top of my favorites of all your projects. How absolutely magical that a butterfly, one if the "faeries" of the forest, landed on your faery house. That really looks like a stump in the woods that a faery lives in. 💜

That turned out great.I loved it when the butterfly landed on it he was giving you his approval.I love the moss .So cute.
Ms. Helen, I just love the projects that you make. You remind me of my late grandmother. She saw the beauty in everything in nature. My grandfather owned a tree nursery. Their yard was picture perfect. In all that work she noticed so many small things. Broken eggshells from songbirds. Tree moss to build a nest. So on and so forth. She would make two of those bird nests, one for the churches craft sale and one for her Christmas tree.

Hi Tink, I love going on finder expeditions into the woods. I really enjoy scavenging for finds. I use to take my son on walks and to keep him occupied we would look for unusual things. We have such similar interests! I learned about Hypertufa pots when I was a Master Gardener years ago . but people are doing so many things with it now; I have to give it a go too.I just had my daughter take me to Home Depot today to get some SHAPECRETE, but they did not have it. Supposed to be a concrete product you can work with like clay.
I settled for a large bag of recycled insulation, (paper), and vermiculite, I wanted the Shapecrete to make a Fairy House.

Those are called Tree conks which are a type of fungus growing on the trees. Here in Alaska a lot of artists paint Alaska scenes on the flat side. They usually paint northern lights and cabins etc.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon your channel. Your houses are great. I'm sure the fairies are all racing to move in. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. My 8 year old daughter really wants to build a fairy garden this summer and she doesn't want to get a store bought house. We are in Canada. The snow banks outside our house come up to my nose right now (I'm 5'4") so it will be a few months before we can start woking in the garden. Once again, thank you.
