Not exactly a review, but this was great, really enjoyed it.
Gast ik heb een 6,1L SRT-8 en zelfs ik doe gemiddeld 1:3 als ik voluit accelereer. Hoewel die van mij geen supercharger heeft en een dikke 200 pk minder.
Die GT500 is niet voor de autobahn gemaakt hoor, eerder om te dragracen.

This is the exact same Mustang that Clarkson drove in Top Gear.

its the exact same car wich they did the trip to san siro thing with on Top Gear. / Het is precies dezelfde auto waarmee ze op topgear van engeland naar milaan reden
Only drinks the fuel when you drive it hard, every day driving (passing on a regular basis of course) I average 14L/100, if your complaining about fuel efficiency out of a 662hp power plant, go buy a Prius and hand in your man card.
its not about the fuel efficiency, its about having no fuel left wheil the computer says you still can drive 40 miles
Hi nbmblownZ... Motor trend, w/ carlos lago ( good lookin' kid, for reference ), had a pro driver on a circle track get it to a top speed of 196.6 MPH... They said, w/ more favorable weather conditions, it might of easily hit 200...They did 2 attempts, I believe in arizona...During a hot day, and then, the next morning, when it was cooler....I dunno if it can??? It's posted on y.t. currently...I think it's titled, GT500 chases 200 MPH.. Just thought I'd share the info... Have a Great autumn :):)

I thought the same and it's a fault, because Koenigsegg's V8's are officially production engines no matter how many they build each year
It might not reach 'automotive monumental achievement' but I would be happy if it reached my driveway...
Such a cool car that you can wear pink pants and still feel good driving it.

TOP GEAR rented the same car when it did it's race of the GT500 against the train...I can see they look the same and have the same license plates. I guess it must be hard to get a GT500 in europe :)
Will this engine fit in my BMW e36? If so I want to order one please :D.
Hi whyeff21..My guess, would be, cuz he has to keep slowing dow, and accelerating, through many slower cars... He also winds each gear out to 7,000 rpm's a number of times, cuz, as he keeps trying for 200 mph.. He keeps having to slow down, and start again alot ??? Maybe, he didn't start w/ a full tank to boot??? Take it E-Z :):):)
That's the thing about Mustang's. They have small tanks. I ran out of gas in 2 days. I wasn't driving that crazy, but nope. I gave it back.
It's not a mass production engine. They only build a handful a year

Was dat een incidenteel probleem, betreft de benzine? Of geldt dit voor alle gt500's?
Het geldt zelfs voor alle auto's die een verbruiksmeter hebben denk ik. Het gemiddelde verbruik dat je had bij de vorige tankbeurt neemt de computer als basis voor de berekening van de actieradius die je nog hebt op je huidige tank. Dus als je ineens veel onzuiniger rijdt dan bij je vorige tankbeurt (zoals hier 250+ gaan rijden) dan sta je al stil als de computer aangeeft dat je nog even door kan....
Niet slecht, zeker niet als tanken je hobby is.

At 1:24 it looks like he was shifting from 3rd to 4th but the speedometer says he is shifting from 2nd to 3rd
