- We spent 3 days hiking and camping the remote Southern NSW coast of Australia. I reckon this could be one of NSW Best hikes!
This is just a re-edit of a trip we did last year.
I originally popped it up in three parts but not a great deal happened so I always wanted to go back and mash it down into one fast paced video, more for me than anything else. I hope you enjoy!

Holy moly that kangaroo just vibing was incredible wow,
I remember when I was living in the outback in NSW in coba and I was working in a shearing gang, behind the shower blocks on one station we were at had this little green patch of grass and there was some Kangaroos just chilling on it eating away.
I was so amazed by them.

It’s crazy the things you’ll see in the bush sometimes. We were at the Watagans (of all places) and were visited by a spotted Qual. Hadn’t seen one before… a bit of research and we found out it was actually an endangered species.
modern day, 'Leyland brothers'. Great walks, great scenery, cool dudes, doing cool things!

Seriously though that was a blast from the past ... so good to relive that adventure. Can't believe on that trip though I missed both that whale jump and greg going for the ol whim hoff method.

Ben Boyd Lighthouse? You're right, that is some remote land. I stayed at the lighthouse for a few days many years ago. Just unreal.

God I love Australia! I have even gotten halfway through the video and I’m commenting. We used to get dolphins swimming up close to our ships at Fleet Base West 30+ years ago. They’d just cruise past slowly with one eye out of the water looking at you standing on the QX of a DE 6 feet above. Magical!
And the whales! They look awesome!

I have your 'budget' tent. One coat of silicone spray and that thing has performed faultlessly rain, hail and shine!
That thing never let me down, I couldn’t tell you how long I had it. It had to of been over 10 years though 👌

For camping Baccardi 151 or Innercicle not as good as years ago.Frigate was a great But Stroh rum 160 lightens the load when camping

The hat is from the surf brand ‘Billabong’. Should still be able to find it online. Just type waxed billabong wide brimmed hat and it’ll probably come up. They only do the one style like that 🤙

Hey mate, yeah it’s trip from just over a year ago. I always wanted to go back and re-edit it down into one punchier video because I had it as a three parter and the second and third video didn’t get much traction. It wasn’t an amazing video but I just wanted to redo it for myself more than anything.

Do it mate! It’s a really beautiful hike. Nothing very difficult about it either, no crazy steep sections, just some up and over headlands. But the terrain changes so much and it’s just stunning. A really enjoyable walk/hike.
What's the starting point for the walk mate? I haven't done a coastal camp in a few decades.

Never seen this coastline in any of these videos yet! Totally reminds me of the coastline in my hometown Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape South Africa and also Garden Route Tsitsikamma, We also get dolphins and whales
