I’ve owned one for a few months now. The base trim is what you want, no flimsy awd or air suspension systems but still has a lot of luxury features like leather memory seats, built in air compressor, etc.
I got the 3rd gen 02 bravada with the 4.2 inline 6 and the 2nd gen bravada with the 4.3 v6 and both are very solid whips, 10/10 recomend. Less issues then modern suvs and cheaper to fix
I've got the 2004 Bravada. 252,000 miles. It has a burnt valve, Service engine/AWD lights on, tailgate is stuck shut, but still going. Plan on trying to fix it up within reason without spending over the total value of the vehicle. Gonna ride it til the wheels fall off 😅
I really miss mine. It was my first car. Had it for a few years until my dad was borrowing it for one day (because his work truck was getting fixed) towing a trailer and the transmission exploded. It was the one time it ever towed anything only had 120k on it. Needless to say since it was his fault he replaced the car with an even better one for me but I still really miss that car.
@@LUIGILIMPLUS he bought me a new one because he broke my car. I bought my first car with my own money. He had to borrow it for one day and he destroyed the car so he bought me a new car.
Mike, quick question, have you thought of doing a handful of Mike C morale patches as a limited run? I know there are some of us with Toyota’s that would like to stick them on our head liners. Cool logo you created. Have a good one.
I've thought about offering something with my logo but wasn't sure if anyone would want it. Good to know there's at least one person! I'll keep it in mind :-)
i looked at and nearly bought one of these today . It is a 2002 . body was mint as well as the interior . but the engine a vortec 4.2l i6 is very new to me and it was very noisey , sounded like a diesel . The test drive was fine but the fear of a blown motor scared me off . The car is listed at 2500 . is this engine noise normal. The owner claims it has knocked like that for years is this true , should i go back and buy it?

I will be buying a 2002 Bravada on Monday.
Great daily driving vehicle to drive anywhere in any part of anywhere that isn't just the city, but in the wilderness.
I love them 3rd gen bravada
Great job on the review. Straightforward and to the point. Sub+

At 7:45 about the built-in inflator. Is it possible to get it fix or replace to a new inflator?
Thank you for a review. Appreciate it.
Yup, buy the 4x2 in this platform. Way less headaches
If I get one I'm replacing the taillights with the Saabs and the interior door panels with an envoys if the inside matches

Ps how do I go about ordering one of your decal stickers?

I just bought an 03 Bravada AWD, hoping it will be good for me after selling my old 04 Santa FE
@5ive6ixcely78 how’d the vehicle hold up?
How to change the plugs on a 2003 Mercury Bovada
Considering buying one locally for knock around vehicle. Rather a XUV though.

Yes rock solid reliable
Usually they are very quiet engines.
His probably has a gummed up vvt sensor.
What does it mean when service AWD mean? And how do I fix that?
Reminds me of my 05 Ford Escape.
I think it’s good looking
If the Bravada existed into 2007 the 3rd generation would have debuted in 07 and taking the Buick enclave and Chevrolet Traverse, body style.
Olds is to Chevy as Mercury is to Ford.
@Adeline Nicholas
Buick is to Olds, as Olds is to Chevy.
Old..Chevy.. Buick.. Pontiac.. Cadillac is all GMC
Infiniti is to Nissan as Kia is to Hyundai

Why are they so very rare
Because oldsmobile don’t exist anymore
lol 5000$ usd for a garbage plastic envoy... just get a same year highlander
Highlander for $5k will probably have 250k miles and this has well under 100k
@@DrivenCompanion yes. We all can't afford toyota suvs.
Have fun towing with a Highlander
The Highlander is a lame girls car. The Bravada is a tough truck, and has GM's legendary Atlas 6 motor. Way better than a Highlander!

Do you recommend this suv?
