    Helpful review! Do you think it can fit 4 adults comfortably?

      It’d be a little cramped but 4 adults could fit I’d say

    Don’t you worry about the moisture doing damage to your joists, walls etc.

    I am in wisconsin bought mine on black friday. Had it setup the same day in the basement, though reading the manual sounds like you can have it outside.

    • @ericm5515
      @ericm5515  2 роки тому +1

      Pg 10 of the manual makes it sound like the outdoor temperature should not be lower than 42.8 degrees for a long period of time. Personally I’m not comfortable putting it outside in our Wisconsin winters.

    I’m confused about keeping the spa on during winter. Our overnight temps are above 42.86 and we are not using it daily. I’m a little concerned about cost of heating it if the heater stays on too long. Can someone mention if it’s a costly operation to keep the heater/pump on?

    • @ericm5515
      @ericm5515  2 роки тому +2

      I don’t know the cost yet since I just got it but someone else that has the pump on all the time said it added about $30 a month. I don’t unplug mine at all since we use so frequently.

    I've been told that using a hot tub indoors can lead to the development of toxic mold because of the very high humidity that's generated.

    Hate to bother you again I could use some help understanding the heater button. I just filled It up and pushed the heater button and it says 55 I keep trying to turn it up to 85 it blinks a couple of times and goes right back to 55. Help? I'm lost. Thanks!

    • @ericm5515
      @ericm5515  2 роки тому +1

      The heat button should be red meaning it’s heating up the water. Once green it’s at the set temperature. It should warm up for you at about 2 degrees per hour. Blinking means you have it set at that temp (85). You just need to leave it be at this point.

    Do u have to set the timer to keep it at temp? Or does it stay heated without setting the timer? How does that work? Thanks 😊

    • @ericm5515
      @ericm5515  2 роки тому +1

      @AnnaTurner go to about the 6:40 mark in the video where I talk about settings. The 2 illuminated buttons that are on on the bottom left and right - one is the heat. I always leave them on. To set the heat just unlock and arrow up to your desired temp. That temp will flash and that’s the temp it’s set for then. No timer needed. I never use the timer actually, I have no need for it personally. Hope that helps!

      @@ericm5515 Thanks for the info. So to clarify, when you have it on the heating setting, it will automatically heat until it reaches the temp you set (let's say 101 degrees) and then turns off until it drops? I could have sworn my brand new saluspa was at over 101 degrees in temp, but when I set it to 90 degrees since we weren't planning on using it, the heater and/or the filter stayed on? Does the filter always stay on even when not heating when the heating button is selected? Thanks in advance.

    • @ericm5515
      @ericm5515  2 роки тому

      @@koryj2 Correct. Yes, as far as I know the filter is always on when the hot tub is plugged in.

    FYI I’ve had mine since April and it’s outside (In Illinois-and it’s actually just fine so far in Illinois-it’s been fine and held temp at 32 degrees for 30 mins (only let it drop to 99)

    Great video and information. My question is , what about ventilation since you are using it in your basement? I would think the chlorine smell would be overwhelming inside.

    • @ericm5515
      @ericm5515  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you. It's not as bad as you'd think. Only after adding in two teaspoons of chlorine and running the bubbles after each use can you smell the chlorine inside and it dissipates fairly quickly.

    Thanks for the show and tell. I have owned and operated two of these inflatable hot tubs and for the price and convenience they are great. Mine have both been located outdoors however. They give off a lot of moisture and I would be very concerned with the indoor location and consequent mold and mildew in the house.

    • @ericm5515
      @ericm5515  2 роки тому +2

      Thanks for the message. We have bare plywood right above the hot tub and there has been no moisture or condensation shown at all after each use.
