- Honestly some much hottub work! But I’m not complaining. It keeps us going through the winter!!
I know there will be a lot of people saying that they could have bought a new one for the price I would have charged , well not quite but nearly. Also it just means they’ll have to go out and get one then set it up and then throw away a working hottub which is quite wasteful. So it think it makes more sense doing it this way!

The pink stain will be a form of limescale i think mate. My area has that colour, depends on what minerals etc i think. So some kind of limescale chemical may help.... probably something acidic aswell as limescale is alkaline 🤙holla ya boy for the science lesson 😂
Bleach is fine. It's pink mould
Yeah, Serratia marcescens usually. It’s a bacteria even though we call it a mould, but antibacterial soap won’t help get rid of it any better than other cleaners. Even if you kill most of the bacteria it still leaves behind the pink residue.
I get it off my shower with Barkeeper’s, but that’s for mold that hasn’t been sitting for months so it’s easy to scrub away. Oxalic acid is pretty rough on your skin too.

I have the same tub! Just had to put it away for the winter. Won't keep up below -10c and was using 1kwh per hour! 😮

I love my 1152 TST, it gets the job done and doesn‘t care if you handle it a little rough or drop the lance.
Have you tried Bilt Hamber Surfex HD? It's a multi purpose cleaner and degreaser from the car detailing world and cleans just about anything.
It's really, really simple to maintain these guys, keep some bromide tabs in the dispenser and it will stay crystal clear.

Pink legionella? Endosan or geocell will shift it strong stuff though
You think it’s legionella? Isn’t that the dangerous stuff that gets in your lungs? I know the pink mold in showers is usually just regular Serratia marcescens bacteria, but If there is a possibility it is actually Legionella maybe he should test for it before power washing it without PPE on?

What causes the pink stain?
If it’s the same harmless stuff found in some showers it’s a bacterium called Serratia marcescens, but everyone just calls it pink mold. Someone else on here mentioned Pink Legionella though, which is not common but it can grow in hot tubs and air conditioners and stuff. It’s the stuff you get Legionnaire’s disease from and you can get kits to test for it.

it might be because of the HDR. Too be fair. Never seen any videos with HDR on youtube that doesnt have problems. (UA-cam wants their premium money )
