what? I think the biggest definition of a superteam is having 6 former and current all-stars all playing at a high level on the same team. 2014-2016 they weren't a superteam, if you consider them a superteam you also consider the showtime lakers a superteam which is just not the case. 2017-2019 was fully manufactured through trades and free-agency, which is the definition of a superteam (Definition: Any team who adds an All-NBA level player via trade or free agency and - including the new player - has a roster with at least three All-Star players during the season or partial season following the acquisition.) they added KD and Cousins to their roster via trades and free-agency, which literally makes them a superteam.
The Ws had a lot of luck too. David Khan drafted 2 PGs ahead of Steph, they unsuccessfully tried to trade Steph 3x. To PHX, but Amare had health issues, Steph/Klay for CP3 but Cp3 vetoed, and to Bucks. Instead of Kerr they offered the head coaching job to Stan Vangundy 1st but he turned it down to be Pres of Det. They agreed to trade Klay for K Love but Jerry West talked them out of it. A David Lee injury help them discover Draymond’s greatness. Steph’s bad ankles caused him to sign a less than max rook ext which helped them sign KD. But hats off to them cuz in the end the correct moves were made and a dynasty was built.
Definitely were favoured by lady Luck during that stretch. They had a lotta great people in the front office though, their scouting team could find a diamond in a dumpster. What sets Curry, Thompson and Green apart from other great players is they allow themselves to be coached. They know they're great players but they never stop listening and working with their coaches. Draymond Green has had fights with Steve Kerr but he never tried to sabotage games and make their coaches look bad. He could have left the warriors and "prove his worth" with another team. Players are imperfect and so are coaches. Kerr's deficiencies as a coach have been exposed many times but his star players are still willing to listen to him. Whether it be your basketball videos or if you ever decide to branch out you have talent for editing and telling a story.
Its crazy how Warriors sidelined tons of opportunities to a fast win for the franchise. Instead, they choose growth and depth in the team rather than picking up or trading their own for better players. They trusted their players that eventually in the long term, years later, will grow and all their hardwork will pay off. I love how slowly but surely they get better each season despite the set backs. It did not made them break, it made them become better and stronger. This is what no other team in NBA can replicate no matter how many great players they collect because this team, they built it for several years to be this great.
Good choice. Consider talking about the formation of the BK big 3. You could tie in KD in Golden State, Harden in Huston and Kyrie in Boston and then Philly's situation with Simmons and how it all culminated in the trade...
It is so insane and amazing to watch videos on how people used to view Curry when he first came in the league. Or the disgust Warriors fans had when they traded Ellis over Steph. I mean hindsight is 20/20 but looking back, the idea of trading Steph is ludicrous.

@@JOANNIE. blame Cleveland from 03-10. Had they built a good team around LeBron then he would’ve never went to Miami. I have no problem with LeBron controlling his own legacy.
@@stratosphere2323 the downfall of the Warriors was due to injuries mate. KD was out, Klay was out, Cousins was out, literally leaving Steph to get massacred by the Raptors' Kawhi Leonard and Lowry. And even without their best players, the Warriors were only 4, I repeat, 4 points away from a game 7 which they still would have probably lost, but still pretty damn close. You're the only hypocrite in this reply section, pal.
@@michaelspetsquirrel5372 That's why 2019 doesn't hurt as much as 2016 did.
Who’s here after they won again?
I’m here after 2022 championship
Not me
It’s all thanks to Jerry West. He’s by far the best front office guy. He’s built dynasty after dynasty starting with the showtime lakers
@breadandcircuses8127 Jerry west formed that team. Look up the teams he’s put together. He’s the best GM/executive in NBA history
The last 3 years have been just as impressive ,the team culture and belief to come back from rock bottom is amazing and unique, strength in numbers in action .I think that deserves its own video
Your videos are always so great man, shocking to me how someone who makes such high level content and averages the views you do is still below 100k subs but I'm sure you will get there soon and beyond. Whether it be your basketball videos or if you ever decide to branch out you have talent for editing and telling a story.
As a Spurs fan 2013 was fun and I will always worship the Manu buzzer beater in Game 1
Crazy I was young in 2013 I remember watching the spurs vs heat finals and I was pissed when heat one I was mad
@@trewilliams8411we got em next year
And it still ain’t over. 4th ring baby 💍💍💍💍
Bro u deserve a like right off the bat. An hour long Warriors video is what I needed rn. I'mma watch this with some popcorn 🤣🤙🏻
Hell of a documentary by a natural born story teller! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Agreed!!!
Dear Klay Thompson,I love you so much.
Dynasty just rose again we back
Outstanding documentary . Great job! You deserve a lot more attention.
Bro they are so patient and really wanted to develop players, this team is unreal
Man I love your vids there’s so well put together and it’s just a joy to watch !!!
It’s so amazing to watch this a day after they made it back to the finals 3 years removed from 2019
Its crazy how Warriors sidelined tons of opportunities to a fast win for the franchise.
This is what no other team in NBA can replicate no matter how many great players they collect because this team, they built it for several years to be this great.
what a great video 💯
high quality production and your efforts really shine through 👏🏼
2019 playoffs finals was heartbreaking.
2016 will always be worse.
Good choice. Consider talking about the formation of the BK big 3. You could tie in KD in Golden State, Harden in Huston and Kyrie in Boston and then Philly's situation with Simmons and how it all culminated in the trade...
Who care about whack bk lol
It is so insane and amazing to watch videos on how people used to view Curry when he first came in the league. Or the disgust Warriors fans had when they traded Ellis over Steph. I mean hindsight is 20/20 but looking back, the idea of trading Steph is ludicrous.
0:10 Forgot Iggy as well lmao
Loved the new intro bro, really adds to the professional feel of your vids
The Legend Continues
Should’ve waited until this years playoffs to make this video
klay + steph 2015-2022, best backcourt ever?
ps. dude your videos are seriously GREAT, thank you, you are appreciated
They fucking won again wow!
I watched the whole thing and omg this is so good. I do not know how first off you can just sit down and make these videos, I mean that takes dedication. Then secondly, not even have more that 100k subscribers. You deserve more subscribers, keep making content dude 😁
As a lifelong Warriors fan this was a spot-on EXCELLENT video. Born and raised in Oakland, I truly hated when they moved to San Francisco.
As a Warriors fan myself, they originally played in San Francisco when they moved west in 1962, and were once known as the San Francisco Warriors.
I love your content.. Your really good at this, you really capture the emotions of the moments and process of the culture.
This channel deserves more attention. It's extremely underrated and yet produce so much high quality videos, almost like documentary-level quality. I am glad I have discovered this channel a few months back and hopefully I can see its growth for years to come.
I so agree!!!
it’s so crazy to look at the dynasty from a different perspective. this has to be one of the craziest stories ever in the history of everything. people don’t give enough credit to the warriors for all the shit they went through. yes they were a dynasty but they built that from the ground up and it was crazy how they did it with the amount of haters they had
They still are a dynasty they’re going to win one more this season hopefully 🙏🏻
Competent ownership and patience. I remember Jed York tried to compare his ownership of the 49ers to the Warriors….lol. He got roasted so hard for that.
@@al821 Jed York is the complete opposite of Joe Lacob, he doesn't care about winning, only money, along with two Super Bowl losses to show for it 😠
After the Warriors won the Championship in 2022 I’d like to see a part 2 of this video from 2020-22
Yes Yes Yes, although there is already a 51 minute mini-documentary on the Warriors 2022 Finals Win.
@@zacharyyamashita8554 I like this Style of Documents and this has no 2020-22 Version of the dynasty. So this is a 53 Minute documentary of the warriors reign of the NBA between 2010-2019
Kerr did his thing, but Jackson deserves credit for maturing them. Kerr didn't have to really coach that 1st ring 💯
Curry and the Warriors missed what could possibly the best season ever in history on the 2016 season. That was the best basketball I have ever seen, period.
As a warriors fan I agree the level they played at that regular season was some shit I’d never seen before and I was around for the 96 bulls.
Yo whenever I feel bored I just watch your videos and it works every time (:
And from what we are seeing this season... It's not over yet.
This is very well written. The slides, video clips and audio are all greatly selected. You stay awesome!
Ok bruh, you got me. I didn't realize the NBA youtube scene had another great youtuber I overlooked. Wow.
Here after their 4th chips
These videos are better than espn docs. Keep it up man!
Ankle braces not only saved Curry's career but provided generational wealth for the Curry bloodline. Insane.
Lesss go I was waiting for a new video to drop! Good stuff keep it up!
The quality never disappoints, keep it up!
We have #4!!!
Always a good day when dylandoesbasketball uploads a new video
Dude called steph a guy with no ankles I’m dying
Looks like you need an update :)
Still can't understand how this man hasn't milions of followers
I know!!! I don’t get it .. his content is another level 🔥🔥🔥🙏
Steph, Klay, and Dreymond are what everyone thought KD, Harden, and Westbrook would be
This video definitely needs an update!! 😉🥳
Soo... Can we get an updated version? #4rings
Hey man, great video. This took alot of hard work and im thankful you made it. One of the best videos on youtube!! You earned yourself a sub!
Warriors were very lucky, it was really hard to predict Steph Curry as a future legend with how often he would get injured. But in the end he changed the game and made 3 pointers king. Well done Curry.
Literally every dynasty relies on luck to a degree your comment is pointless lol
If anybody watched this after the 2022 wcf against the mavericks than your awesome
