Hi this was yet again a very interesting video. The people of Dalyan were nice to you because you are a very relatable and lovely couple. Enjoy your travels and stay safe. If you do come back to Dalyan keep in touch hopefully we will be living there by then and you can visit with us.
Hi Doreen! You’re so sweet, thank you so much. We would be so thrilled to meet when we’re in the area again. You’re moving to Dalyan permanently? That sounds so amazing! Please keep in touch ❤️
Hope you’re both well. Really enjoyed your video, it’s definitely made me think. It’s funny that when we consider our Villa we capture all revenue and expenditure - yet when we visit I don’t think to capture our spends. Will definitely look more closely at our outgoings next time we visit.
Hi Sarah! Thanks for watching. Yes, we never used to track our expenses when we vacationed, but now that we're travelling full time, we are trying to be able to stay on the road as long as we can, and that means watching our budget. People seem very interested in the costs of these places too, so we thought we'd share our experiences.
I loved to you as well you were so good couple, very positive and it’s like from long time ago you were my old neighbours :) you have a good energy.. please let me know for next time l really would like to see you and host you again. The video is so beautiful!!! We love it. Thank you so much.
Hi! Thanks so much for hosting us in your lovely place and for being so kind and lovely. We hope to come visit Dalyan again one day and will certainly say hello when we do!
Hi guys, great informative video ! You mentioned towards the end about health care. Being. Canadian myself with similar plan in 2022, what exactly did you mean by extending the government health care for 2 years or was it being away for 2 years from Canada? Who do you use as your primary travel insurance in Canada?
Hi John. We were able to extend our provincial health care plan to cover us minimally for a year while we're out of the country. We'll have to reapply, after year one but were told that up to 2 years won't be an issue.
Nice to see you guys are having a good time How long is this journey going to last As someone that’s retired how much money would I need to live for the next five years travelling that way I’d like to see you guys take a cruise somewhere along your journeys and give us an update on how expensive it is to be on a boat hope you guys have a good time talk to you later and happy new year
Hi! I guess the journey will last as long as it’s still fun. I think the costs would depend on where you go. Turkey was very affordable. Spain, where we are now, much less so. No plans for a cruise anytime, but I’ve heard that there are long term cruises that go around the world. Happy new year and we’ll talk soon!
Hi Nirvana! It's a good point, and we thought of this, but as we travel around the world we'll be visiting places where most people might not be familiar with the local currency exchange rates from their home currency. Most of our viewers are familiar with the USD or Euro currencies so we used them. It's not perfect, as we know exchange rates can vary across time, but it's what we've chosen. I'm Canadian, and not even using our home currency as many people won't be familiar with the rates. Thanks for watching!
No, in Lira is not a good idea. The lira is in a downfall. It's getting more expencive here by the day, but in dollars it will be more or less the same.
Yes. My country is fucked. The inflation has completely ruined the lives of millions of people. But i'm glad you guys get to have your cool holiday with your American Dollars :) Come back next year and you'll probably spend half as much
Hi! Thanks for watching. We loved the Turkish people and sympathize with the economic issues they are facing. We tried to make sure that we spent our money at locally owned businesses to help how we can. We would love to visit Turkey again and our hopes that the economy is in better shape for all of the people.
Hi Mohamed. You're absolutely right, but when renting for only one month at a time we know we'd get a better price if we rented for longer. Thanks for watching!
Hi, I live in Candir at the other side of the river behind caunos. Let's have a coffee if you ever come back to Dalyan. I love to meet people that also make youtube videos.
Hi! Thanks for watching! We've watched your videos and think you're great. We would be so thrilled to meet for coffee, but we've already left Turkey. We'll take a raincheque on that coffee when we're in the area next ☕

🔥👍 heyyy thank u for sharing this about the cost of living there 👌 the weather looks amazing 👍it's freezing here in London 😅
Hi Ahmed. Even when we left it November the weather was beautiful. Turkey was so wonderful in so many ways and we look forward to going back one day.
how nice to see a Canadian in Turkey
Hi Murat, thanks so much. The Turkish were so welcoming to us, we hope to come back one day

Great video guys but it would of been better if the costs were in lira as that helps planning future travelers

@@PureDetour hey guys. I do understand. I really do enjoy all your videos.
We appreciate that you take time watch these videos. Have a great day, Nirvana

Nice video. Two “m”s in accommodation.
Nice catch there. I normally proof read these multiple times. That one slipped by both of us. At any rate, thanks for watching
I think you may find even cheaper than 615 $ for accommodations depends on season location over view and size of flat
