@@okayegg4597Bro, Lego sells the most overpriced toys on the market today. 87 pieces of plastics, no matter the size or quality of the plastics, is not worth $40 to anybody who has other things they need to buy aside from Lego. The fanatics do this because they are completely in love with Lego, and the Lego guys do this because the fanatics, whether happy or unhappy about the prices, buy the toys anyway.
I mean it is a 4+ set with mostly bigger parts (those brown walls, the at-st legs etc) so you can't always go of price per piece. Definitely at least $10 overpriced but not as bad as some recent sets like Cad Banes ship that retailed at $170! o.o
My big question as someone who works for walmart and has visited 100+ walmarts: WHY HAVENT THEY CLEARANCED IT!? Literally every store I visit has 30 of these on the shelf just collecting dust. Clearance it for 10 bucks and we might buy it walmart
i second that went to a lego store and was almost about to buy it but changed my mind when I saw the piece count. For the same price it's better to invest in a dark trooper attack set or lego hoth at-st
Exactly why I buy “off brand” legos… just as good… at 1/10th the price… the brand doesn’t always matter when the name itself makes the price inflate by so much.
@@Edwardify Exactly, as long as you’re careful you can always find a better product for less. I’ve found that Temu has the best selection of legos for cheap, and my brother couldn’t even tell they weren’t Lego brand Lego until I told him and he saw that 1 of the studs on some of the blocks had that fill spot in it that’s normally associated with offbrands.
This is why you wait for them to discount if something is too expensive and isn’t that high in demand yet you want it, you play the waiting game until they mark it down reasonable enough to you, yet if they don’t then just don’t bother unless you really want to pay the price for it
I actually got this at one of the local targets and it wasn’t 30 dollars but like 15 or 20 bucks. It’s a pretty decent set, get a free Ewok and Scout Trooper out of it so it was worth it for me and for my LEGO Star Wars OG trilogy collection. Having a small AT-ST is pretty cool too
All of the sets in the 4+ line have a high price/piece ratio. It’s because of the special chunky parts they have to make for the 4-year olds, and can’t easily use in other sets. It’s high priced, but does include 3 minifigs, which retail at $5 a piece (and you can’t buy SW ones separately). Another $5 for the little stump, maybe, and then the $20 AT-ST with the special parts is what drives up the price. Every “4+” set is like that.
This is because they used specific solid bricks such as base to simplify the assembly, that are commonly made out of smaller bricks in other sets, and the mould for the new lego peace is extremely expensive
I was going to get it for the ewok, but it costs way too much! It just shows you what Lego thinks they can do with all the overpriced sets they have today!
2.15 per piece! It’s crazy
I don’t know about that 😂
40 cents per piece
or like 2.15 pieces per dollar
@@goop04 All I know that it's expensive
The x wing poly bag has 87 pieces as well and it costs $5. Would you rather 87 pieces for $5 or 87 pieces for $35?
30+ dollars for a 4+ set is crazy
You'd rather get caught stealing then paying 30 for that shit lmao
There was a really good batman set that was 4+ but it was like $50, its unfortunate because it had an amazing Joker and Harley Quinn minifigure
Well, all 4+ sets are that way with their larger pieces, usually unique molds and printed pieces
Called inflation my guy
The fact that Kenobi’s ship was like $30 and has like triple the pieces and the same amount of minifigures is just crazy
That’s crazy, the price to piece ratio is more than any CMF price to piece ratio.
Should be like $10
real
tbh i think an alright price for it would be 25 dollars you get an ewok and an at st pilot

15 is good imo
It should've been illegal for them to charge that much for an 87 piece set...
That has the same amount of pieces as this year’s x wing poly bag, no joke both 87 pieces each, $5 vs $35 I would take 87 pieces for $5 any day
@onetwothreesixeight Yet they still include smaller pieces like the minifigs that a toddler can still easily choke on...
Yea. 30 dollars should be the price a year after retirement. Not while ON SHELVES!

This is the kind of set that would only get a parts list in the mid-2000s LEGO Magazine, instead of the paragraph-long descriptions.
Its a set i honestly want for all the characters because they are awesome but that price is just horrendous
Yea. It sucks because from what I know, that is the first ewok in a few years
No one is gunna spend £40 on a set for a 4 yr old that will lose the pieces or chew the figures 😂
I have 6. All bought for £22.50 or less at sainsburys
Lego is not meant for braindeads
bro the price is like 6x for its value
Just wait for it to go on clearance and buy their entire stock for the price of one of these regular
At this point you should just get the 501st battle pack that some how has more pieces

Lego Star Wars prices are like Venezuela inflation right now
I go to Walmart a bunch to get lego and every other time I go the only set there is that thing. I have began to hate it a lot.
Agreed 😂💯
My grandma bought this for me after learning that my lego endor moc didnt have an ewok
I always wanted a Lego Ewok minifigure as a kid
My big question as someone who works for walmart and has visited 100+ walmarts: WHY HAVENT THEY CLEARANCED IT!?

That price is a crime.
Should see the prices in canada, some places have it for 60.
Oh hell no.
Hmmm yes would you like to have almost any video game of your choice or 87 lego pieces
@@scaleos8370 video game :,)

I got it for my 5 year old, she built it herself and was super happy. That was worth it to me.
U made a mistake
Im sorry 34 bucks? Lego and Walmart must be high as a kite if they think anyone would pay that much for a set with so few pieces.
Exactly why I buy “off brand” legos… just as good… at 1/10th the price… the brand doesn’t always matter when the name itself makes the price inflate by so much.
We've been buying so much off brand lego lately, I've got to say, you can't even tell the difference anymore and its so so so much cheaper
@@Edwardify Exactly, as long as you’re careful you can always find a better product for less. You can save a lot if you don't pay for licensing, designers, quality control, customer service or advertising.
@@JSchroederee The quality control is fine for the offbrand I’ve found, so literally 0 downsides for me.
Yea. Just got a 750 peice MAX set for 30 dollars. That crap would cost 80 dollars if it was lego.
i once saw a five piece set for twenty dollars in a Christmas catalog…
💀
Def not $10, but $20 would have been nice to see
decent set MID price
It's an awesome lego set, but it's the worst
My jaw dropped when you revealed the piece-price ratio. What is Lego thinking?
That price makes me want to literally cry
I've decided to build every AT-ST just to see how they're constructed, so this is in my future.
I was even dumbfounded by the price, but it was on clearance for $17 at my Walmart
Believe me I was playing with Legos back in the late 70 South a 2000 s still kind of new to me
You could buy a Lego advent calendar for that price
If the price was reasonable, I would buy because I don't have a ewok in my collection
Lego had a price raise but jeez
The AT-ST build reminds me of the OG 7127 set I had as a kid
It’s 4 dollars more than the Lego 2021 tie fighter when it first released💀
The Crimson Firehawk is even worse 😭
Reminds me of how stores here still have that one Rogue One buildable figure years after its production stopped
God! I wish Lego playsets weren't so goddamn expensive.
Shotties like a melody in mai head
Looks like a $15 set from the mid 2000’s I still see em at my target too lol

Really hope this set goes on sale soon, should have just been considered a battle pack like the 501st
I only like the scout trooper. But it's cool that they attempted to make an Endor set.
I got it for the memes. I want my money back

15-20 should be a reasonable price
"Do (lego price assigners) feel pain?"
"Force I hope so."
When you said overpriced I thought your meant 15 or 20 dollars, but 35?. Thats insane.
It’s like 15 bucks at my local target 😂
“That is the worst piece to price ratio I’ve ever seen”
Me: pfffft who at lego does the price math
What I think is “to the windows to the walls till the sweat drops down to my balls”
While you wait you should get 3 and combine them.
I got swindled by it without knowing. Will never make that mistake again
Man i remember back in the day where that would have only been like $5.
I feel like a boomer now... i am not even 23 yet... oh god i am turning into a 90s kid
you must be at my walmart cuz that’s exactly what the section looked like on saturday
15-20$ at most
Picked it up on sale for ~25$ dollars. I still feel ripped off lol but I needed that scout trooper and at-st driver in my collection
Probably felt dissapointed when you saw the snow trooper battle pack.
That looks like a $5 set
34? Its 45 where i am!
I think it should’ve came with one more minifigure, either an Endor Rebel trooper or Chewbacca
highway robbery
Love the scout trooper.
If I had a Walmart gift card as a gift from someone, MAYBE I'd get 2
AT-ST in this lego set look curse 💀
$3497!? Oh wait, nope.
Found this set at the clearance isle at Wal-Mart today, and it was $14, I said "Finally" when it was set at a somewhat decent price.
My box was so messed up that I got it for 10$
Good mini figs but not a great build and for 35 dollars!? That’s insane!
What in the Canadian ahh prices💀🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I bought this for a mic I’m making
I got it from Target so the price was less

Would buy but only for the Scout Trooper 😂
This is because they used specific solid bricks such as base to simplify the assembly, that are commonly made out of smaller bricks in other sets, and the mould for the new lego peace is extremely expensive
I loved Ewoks so I asked for any LEGO Star Wars set that had an Ewok in it for my birthday. Yeah... now I have two of that set.
can’t wait for someone 5 years later to ask can I buy it for retail once it’s 3 times the oricey😅
It has a few neat pieces, but not even I would fork over that much money for them!
I just usually change the price tags
It’s gonna be great when it goes on clearance
J-J-Just 30? 💀
Just took a photo today showing that obi wan’s starfighter is 30 for 250 something pieces while this is 35 for 87
I found it in the airport of Frankfurt for 49.99€! Along with other overpriced legos too
I was going to get it for the ewok, but it costs way too much! It just shows you what Lego thinks they can do with all the overpriced sets they have today!
I need to replace my scout trooper's bike from like 2007. This would be an amazing set to use for a replacement bike, but yeah no way.
I’m stealing straight up
I like how it has Wicket, he’s hardly in any small sets. I’d buy this set for $15
Bro it sold worse than the Wii-U
30 dollars, for 87 pieces that's targeted towards 4+ is absurd
That's crazy, here in Sweden I saw them in a toy store for like 9-10 bucks
that set is pretty ok bcs my local target sold it for just over $11
It’s only $30 less than what a video game can cost in my country 😬
Agreed, I kinda want to get it for the minifigures. But €45 just ain’t worth it

With like 6 more dollars you could get a Hoth AT-ST
35 bucks for 87 pieces nah my 2023 hulkbuster has 385 pieces and is 50 bucks
i actually have 2 of them and i used the catapult in the set for a portable catapult for my small army of Lego knights
Ive been waiting for this to go on sale for a while now...
It might be because it’s based off a older set type theme maybe
I would by it only for the wicket fig but I got it anyways as a gift from one of my Amazon LEGO orders.
