Just a question in your ingredients it says shredded cheese is the only cheese you can use for this ingredient Trinidad cheese? I can order it but before I do it Trinidad cheese the only cheese you can use? Do you know if you can use another cheese that America offers?
Gosh... Long time i haven't had coloured chesse paste sandwiches... Used to love this at birthday parties .
I remember as a child in Barbados having coloured bread sliced sandwiches too!
Had this every Christmas with my family. Miss those days.
My mom used a special butter knife to ‘spread’ the cheese paste and my job was to cut off the crust (brown part). Miss those days.

To make it lighter we eat with crix and sometimes to sneak in veges we add in shredded carrots and sweet peppers
I just add some minced garlic 🧄 and it makes it perfect……that’s how my mum made it and that’s how i make for my family now and they all love it🥰
