One thing you missed is that pass products & add ons are not offering the monthly payment plans, like Cedar Fair legacy parks. To get a payment structure you have to buy the gold or prestige membership, which cost more. Gold pass at the lower tier parks is $55 to $59(rop end parks are $75 to $79 ), meanwhile a gold membership is 5.99/month for lower tier parks & 6.99/month with a non refundable $20 initiation fee. So for low tier park gold 12 months membership it's $72 + $20 fee, total $92. A gold pass is $55 to $59 and since it's good for rest of 2024 you're actually getting 16 months of access vs 12 for the membership. 16 months for the membership would be 4 more months of payments making the total $116. Also, if you get the new membership products you are charged an initiation fee for add ons...Flash pass is $60 and $30 for meal plans.

Guess we will see if they clean up or clarify that or any info I receive when I call and ask.
If you had a legacy that was grandfathered in then there’s no need to buy a separate all parks add on. Doing so could cancel your past grandfathered perks. I would contact them eventho their customer service can be infuriating to wait on hold for. Buying any new passes under a different name/have another adult do it could help avoid this.
I have actually never bought a season pass for any park, but with how many times I go to Cedar Point each year (its my home park) and how many of the other cedar fair/six flags parks I am planning for 2025, ~$185 really isn't bad for the entire season.
Update (if anyone cares) I just bought a my first Gold Pass to Cedar Point, along with the all park passport! And I am heading to Cesar Point tomorrow! This video was super helpful! Thanks @AirtimeThrills
@@AirtimeThrills Six flags plus is now the gold membership $20 initial fee and $5.99 for the smaller parks $6.99 for top 5 parks. It actually costs much more than a gold pass at the small parks which have gold passes for $55 to $59 while the gold membership is 5.99 X12 + $20 fee, it comes to $92 total(12 months) vs $55 or $59 pass with the same benefits and since the passes are good for rest of 2024 & 2025, you're getting 16 months of access for $55 to $59 vs 12 months for the membership for $92, The larger parks gold passes are $75 to $79 , while a gold membership is 6.99/mth so $84, plus $20 fee, Still about $20 cheaper for a pass that gives 16 months access. The only reason to buy a membership is if you want monthly payments and it comes at a cost. It doesn't seem SF legacy parks are offering 6 or 9 monthly payments on passes like in the past or like Cedar Fair legacy parks still do. Some Cedar Fair legacy parks offer 11 months after initial payment, which makes it a pseudo membership b/c you're last payment is right before when you could renew. Also, just realized when doing some research that if you get a membership and get add ons they also have initial fees....ie..the all park dining is 12.99/mth, which is $155 like if you got it as a pass add on, but the member plan has $30 initial fee that is non refundable, the flash pass has $60 fee. The memberships are not a good product from the consumer stand point. If you do an update might want to mention membership excessive fees. I don't think anybody has mentioned this in any product videos, probably b/c not many people are doing the memberships so aren't making it known all the fees associated with them.
Can someone help me here please, I was planning a road trip across the US in 2025 with my son, flying into JFK from the UK and renting a car, then fly out of LAX after about 3 to 4 weeks. So if I’ve understood this right, I can buy a pass that will get us into all the parks in the new chain with parking and a meal plan. The meal plan will just be for the chain I buy it from? @@AirtimeThrills I’m hoping they add an option where I can purchase those for six flags without having to buy a legacy six flags pass. Right now, I can only get those as a pass add-on, but I don’t need all parks twice
@@AirtimeThrills for sure. You'd certainly think/hope that's the case. Besides, my bet is that both parks near me (SFDK/CGA) are closing soon anyways. SFDK has been an absolute joke. Every time I've gone this year has been busy but they have half the rides closed and one train ops. Really sucks!
I'm actually scared with how much the Gold plus All Park option stayed the same if not dropped in price. The employees at the park are basically being paid minimum wage and that isn't going to improve with price cuts like that.
I really want to keep my $8/month SF+ membership but I also want to go to Cedar Point this fall. Since I can’t use the all park passport for CF parks until next year, I think the math benefits me to just get a cedar fair pass and add the all park passport to that.
But at that point, if I already have a season pass to a cedar fair park, I might as well add the all park passport to that and stop paying for the SF+ (when my 12 months is up, since I bought it this May).
If your home park is a Cedar Fair park, that makes sense. I'm surrounded by Six Flags parks (home park is SFNE), and probably won't get around to a Cedar Fair park until the summer.
The membership appeal is it's 12 monthly payments and the membership prices in the past don't change much, while pass prices can. These are the new memberships, not as old legacy ones. But, I have an old legacy membership where I pay $18.95/month for all park access, chain wide meals with 2 per visit with snack, drink bottle included. The current meal plan for all parks is $155, it's only 2 meals and no drinks(extra $35 to get bottle)..so for both it's $190/yr My entire food plan/drinks is just over $7.30/mth of the $18.95 total I pay(tax included)
Wait, is the new Six Flags chain really charging around 190$ for having year-round access to all legacy Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks (at least in the us) ? That's unbelievable ! Laughs in Disneyland Paris charging at least 290€ for their two parks lol
They raised my price without notice, them lied about sending notice so I cancelled my six flags pass. Not worth the money when they have no security at great adventure.

At the completion of purchase, your All Park Passport will be automatically added to your Legacy Membership.
@@AirtimeThrills I have a similar issue. My home park is Discovery Kingdom. Renewing my Diamond Pass makes it a Prestige. Or adding the All Park Passport to my Diamond Pass seems to error out and makes me re-enter my membership number.
@@AirtimeThrills I just went to the online portal and in the app and whether I enter my new pass number or old pass number, both times it says "this pass is already added" - but it only shows 1 pass which is the "All Park Passport - Presitge All Parks Membership"... So maybe it is just saying that but I still have my legacy membership with the Passport on top, but it is just presenting it weirdly, because under benefits in the online portal it still references my Legacy Diamond status.
Will there bee season passes that combine two nearby parks? (ie Six Flags Over Georgia and Carowinds)
For next year it doesnt look like it, but the passes are cheap enough for all parks to make that unnecessary for now
@@AirtimeThrills I looked and yeah you're right. I hope so cause many people only visit their closest parks.
I just upgraded my Cedar Point gold pass to prestige literally for the parking and the skip the line
Is six flags plus a prestige pass? I'm curious?
Its different, six flags plus looks like its no longer being offered
Have I got it right?
Many thanks 🙏🏻
You got that right
I find it absolutely hilarious that a Michigan Adventure gold pass is same price as a cedar point gold pass 😂
@@RedPilledDan seriously
What’s the point of the prestige membership if it’s more expense haha?
@@Brandon-qd2lb people who want to pay in installments
I wish I could laff react to this. If it needs a video to explain, Six Cedars needs to make one themselves!
Thanks lol
They'll take my SF platinum membership from my cold, dead hands!
@@sharktooths same. I keep thinking its toast but it keeps on keeping on
So, I have a 24 Diamond pass for SixFlags, how do I renew that on its own before it expires 12/29? I'm looking around but I don't see where I can do that.
It seems as though Diamond memberships can carry on but Diamond passes cannot. It would great if I am wrong though!?
@@RevNoch it doesnt seem like you will be able to renew a season pass, youll have to buy one that's available, gold or prestige
Why can’t I get preferred parking at Great Adventure 😭
If I buy a season pass at dorney will I be able to get all parks dining and drink at six flags?
It doesnt seem like that will be the case
@@AirtimeThrills I’m hoping they add an option where I can purchase those for six flags without having to buy a legacy six flags pass. Right now, I can only get those as a pass add-on, but I don’t need all parks twice
Good lord could they have made this any more confusing haha
@@MacRay14 hopefully just this year
@@AirtimeThrills for sure.
@@AnalytiKroll depends, if they raise the price too high people wont buy it
@@AirtimeThrills True but now the passes add so much more. I would've expected it to be $250 for an all park, not $175.
I'm happy that its only 75 dollars and i jumped on the opportunity as fast as I could lol
Is the 99 a one time fee
For the year yes
@@AirtimeThrills but will renew next year?
@@Z.D.G.Entertainment745 the $99 is good for 2025. After that I imagine they will overhaul the pass system but we'll see
@@AirtimeThrills let’s hope not. Pass says valid till 2100 so I assume many will throw hands if they try to do that.
They're going to have to pry my legacy Six Flags Plus membership out of my cold dead hands.
I really want to keep my $8/month SF+ membership but I also want to go to Cedar Point this fall. Since I can’t use the all park passport for CF parks until next year, I think the math benefits me to just get a cedar fair pass and add the all park passport to that.
@@Bfyobrian12 Or keep your membership and just get a Gold CF pass (or daily tickets if only 1 visit).
It seems like a ripoff to get the memberships, when you get the same thing for cheaper with the season pass.
This is a lot to understand
Wait, is the new Six Flags chain really charging around 190$ for having year-round access to all legacy Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks (at least in the us) ? That's unbelievable ! Laughs in Disneyland Paris charging at least 290€ for their two parks lol
Day 26 of asking for best coaster in each country

Cheap! The merger so far looks great for customers, but it’s probably a matter of time before they’ll double their prices.

They raised my price without notice, them lied about sending notice so I cancelled my six flags pass. Not worth the money when they have no security at great adventure.
@@AmazedBunion they did raise my legacy membership price also, used to be 31 for 2 passes and dining now its over 37
