Loving the list guys! unfortunately haven’t gone through and made my own top 100 but we have tons of overlap so far. Paperback adventures seems awesome and also love slay the spire. With a really cool tower defense-like mechanic. So much fun.
I really want to play War of the Ring and Paladins of the West Kingdom. I'm also interested in trying Project L and Empires of the North. A buddy just got me the Wonderland's War with all the premium upgrades and I love it so much!!! Completely agree with Nick that even in games where I've been destroyed I find something to love and a reason to want to play again and again. Other than that I've not played any of these...I need to hit a board game cafe and open my horizons a bit lol
I really need to try Woodcraft. Wonderland's War was in my Top 10 new-to-me games last year, and that game made me realize I don't like the combat in Blood Rage by comparison. (Even though I prefer the Blood Rage theme...)

I have a lot of games that I haven’t played in years. I really want to play them again, but I don’t necessarily want to read the whole rule books again. Any tips? How do you bring back a game you haven’t played in a long time?
Yes, I think the rule books will be inevitable… I also think starting by setting up the game in front of me might be a good way to do it. Once I see all the pieces laid out, I think the mechanics will come back to me 😅
