I’m a sign language teacher and my uncle is profoundly deaf from birth. I’ve grown up signing and have friends that are deaf. This video is so so beautiful and encapsulates the strength and emotion of sign language. Thank you Chris, Johnny, Will and Guy for not only being the best band ever with the most beautiful music, but for also genuinely caring and loving people. I know you guys probably won’t see this but I need you to know how much you’ve impacted my life and supported me through some dark times. This was filmed in Odeon of Herodes Atticus, in Athens Greece! It is an ancient Roman theater which was built in AD 161 and renovated in 1950 with astonishing views just under the Acropolis! All artists performing there have a mesmerizing experience especially if there is full moon on the sky

I spent all of my teenage years and early 20's suffering with anxiety, daily panic attacks, depression, not being able to leave the house and not wanting to be here if I'm completely honest with myself. I'm 27 now and I have just returned from Malta which is my 3rd solo trip. I listened to this song quite often on my trip and the words "You're throwing me a lifeline and this is for a lifetime" really resonated with me because I feel like life has thrown me a lifeline, a second chance to live which in my younger days never felt it was going to happen. Thank you Coldplay for years of touching, loving and poetic music. You have helped so many people with your music and that's magic within itself.

I'm a communication major, and a few years ago, my job began hiring deaf people. Since then, my journey with sign language has been interesting. I learned that inclusion does not always mean accessibility, prompting me to start learning sign language and implement measures to make their jobs easier, allowing us to genuinely be part of their experiences. I didn't fully grasp the impact of learning a few signs until we began receiving messages from their families, expressing that, for the first time, they felt included. Reflecting on this now, I realize my journey began when I learned about Coldplay's efforts during their concerts while volunteering with the Love Button Movement in Mexico City back in 2022. You continue to inspire me every day, and this video made me cry a little the first time I saw it. This amazing band not only saved me a few years ago when I was in a very bad depressive episode, but also inspired me to become a better person. Thanks guys
