Imo you should never think of what you make as being "good" or "bad" when you start out and i'd just focus on making shit and experimenting, its all too easy to fall in a rut where you think you have to make certain things that sound "good" aka things other people make & like, id try to get of that mind set and just do stuff you want

because the hi-hat, snare, and kick are so quiet...this actually sounds more like a Tyler beat from 2010...as 2011 turned into 2012 and onto 2013, hip-hop trap drums got louder and more digitally distorted...kids were downloading the Lex Luger drumkits, and those files kept getting more and more distorted, as they transferred the files from user to user, over and over again...by the mid-2010's we started calling that sound bass-boost and ear-rape, but that's how it all started: low-bitrate poor quality pirated .mp3's LOL

why did people stop making cloud rap
It just kind of happened slowly over time, almost faded away by 2016 where as 2012-14 their were so many good artists dropping music in that kind of style
it still exist, its just different now
