You might want to put a level on the ram so that it applies force equally on the sleve ! IF it starts pushing unevenly it could wedge the ram in the hole !
@@joedoakes8307 lol 😂 no payments. We just got the permit a couple months ago. It’s a 53 x 32 of big town. I just don’t have time to start it right now.
Nice work man, next time get the stick welder and run a few welds inside the old bushes let it cool and it will shrink and slide out easy, leave new bushes in the freezer overnight will make then go in smoother
The plan was to use the welder but like I showed in the video, I forgot to get a new cord. The bushings had also been in the freezer for over a week now lol. Still, good advice! Thanks for watching!
I just used a dremel and burr to cut a slit in the bushing to relieve the pressure and popped them out with a hammer. Replaced many on my mini excavator.
Yeah there’s a few good ways to do it like yours I’ve done before. I didn’t get the other top loader arm pin on film because I thought it was rinse and repeat. However it took a 20 ton bottle jack to press it out after drilling a hole through the center of it
Good work. Around 11 min mark you are knocking out a pin using an old pin. I have a pin with a steak welded to it at the end to keep peoples hands out of the way and it help with the vibration issue. Biggest thing is the hands though. One small error and your hands will never be the same
Good THINKING, GUYS! Porta-Powers are very useful. I have a 4 & 10Ton! BRANDON @ ELITE recently did a 500 hour maint on his machine. Like YOU, HE's always staying on the MAINTAINANCE! Hey these are all insurance AGAINST "WINTER" breakdowns plus MACHINE longevity! Well done GUYS & thanks!
@@mickyoung1146 honestly, I can’t argue with you on any of that . You’re 100% right I have seen it happen before. Unfortunately I didn’t practice good safety on this one. Thanks for watching.
It was nice hangin with you guys. Great stuff.

Maybe on the next one I’ll level a parking spot for the machine to sit on. Thanks for watching.
Or , maybe you'll have built your 40 x 40 shop and a $400 a month pymt to the bank ! , Thanks

Thanks sonny ! Yup we try to take care of this stuff being the the new stuff is so expensive
Where is your pressure washer?
Cheaper than brake cleaner.
I can afford a few cans to clean parts on a paid for machine 😂
Blowtorch the bushing
Please please dont hit two hammers together an apprentice i worked with lost an eye doing that again with no safety glasses on
