As someone who's had my own experiences on the Navajo Rez and has lived in big cities and small towns I can tell you they are everywhere. I've had elders tell me they're more common in the city since some ppl see it as if it's not real and unknowing welcome them in when they're disguised as "pets" or wild life.
Love you, Loey- you responded to be on instagram one day and said we can cry on my bedroom floor together lol. I was having such a hard time but it was so sweet
I just wanted to say that Everytime I see you have posted I get a big smile. I love your personality, your content and general love for the spooky. I'm so glad you are feeling better, but please take care of yourself.
I work with repairing and fixing roads and often spend 8-9 hours alone in the forest without any internet connection. I sometimes whistle weird melodies to try and scare away animals or people, I hope I haven't attracted some weird shit
I've always thought that mimics and "flesh pedestrians" are different things, I think you can say the s-word, but you should be careful where you do it and at what time, even the original Navajo word is fine to say. Talking about them period draws their attention, but you don't summon them by saying their name three times like you do a different demon in a striped suit. Mimics are basically doppelgangers, which is German for "double walker". They've been documented for many centuries and seen by famous people, if you see yourself it's an omen of death, but they can also be heard. Abraham Lincoln, Catherine the Great and her guards, Queen Elizabeth I, and Percy Shelley, husband of Mary Shelley the author of Frankenstein, all saw their own doppelganger shortly before their deaths. The other thing is mostly from Indigenous legends, specifically Navajo, and will most of the time take the shape of animals that are wrong or will replace people, but they are more visual than audio. Either way, I just ignore the sounds and things in my house, and try not to whistle outside at night.
There seems to be a misconception of what "night terrors" are. One of my kids was diagnosed with night terrors when he was young (2 or 3). Night terrors are NOT really bad nightmares! When night terrors happen, the child seems awake, but isn't. He had absolutely NO memory of any of the horrible things he screamed about. He would scream for help and stare into empty spaces like he was being chased or attacked. When we would try to soothe him, he seemed to not see or hear us at all. Think of night terrors as sleep walking in a nightmare. Sometimes not fully mobile, but seemingly awake. The biggest thing is that night terrors are NOT remembered by the person experiencing them!
but honestly how do mimics think it will work when they imitate our voices? like, do you hear your own voice from another room? aha, I'll definitely go there! i wonder who is it lmao
For the record, almost anything can be anywhere. But to be more specific, "fleshpedestrians", as have become infamous in recent years, are outcasts of certain southwestern native american cultural magic systems, most well known being of the Dine/Navajo culture. In their culture "witches" are those that pervert and forsake a concept they call Hózhó (hope/ beauty/ community/ balance/ harmony) and their closed magic system based around it, seen as the antithesis to it and inherently negative individuals, if not even evil or malicious as a rule. They are generally known for violation of other taboos of the cultural social contract, most of the ones I've seen talked about actively harmful or at the very least least toxic and unhealthy. SWs are the extreme of this group, allegedly having to do horrible things to get the power they have over the natural world. By this origin, theoretically SWs could be anywhere as there's nothing stopping these "witches" from going wherever they please, and there's seemingly no reason they'd want to stay in the region/culture if they're seen that way. Going further _THEORETICALLY_ these witches could possibly be anyone. They would just need to be taught this magic system and then taught to reject the values it stands for and misuse it. There doesn't necessarily, as far as we know of, have to be any blood connection to someone in the Dine/Navajo tribe, BUT by this logic the line would've MOST LIKELY started from someone who was originally taught the system from the source. It's not impossible someone could spontaneously embody those same systems as a part of their personal practices and then come to reject those principles and we can't know for sure that couldn't have the same result, but from what I've read, it seems like the cultural meaning of this system is a BIG part of what makes the refusal of Hózhó such a fundamental choice, for lack of better wording. Being educated in this system itself seems to be a big deal in Dine/Navajo culture, and the desecration of that trust and responsibility seems to be a part of what taints these "witches", so I doubt highly that teaching/learning the system for the sole intention of misusing it would accomplish the same effect. If one wanted to pass on their ways, they would likely have to teach a pupil the system in earnest and then present them with the opportunity to mutilate it of their own will, and then take the risk that their student will be a "better" person than them and never adopt their view. So very very big emphasis on "THEORETICALLY", for that second idea especially. But yeah! By the nature of what SWs are, it would make complete and total sense then that they could be anywhere they want to be. However, the Dine/Navajo words for these beings (both "witches" and SWs) are the ones you're not supposed to say. SW isn't actually what they're called, that is just an english replacement term to refer to them just like "fleshpedestrian". If SW did work to call on them, FP would logically have the same result. I think moreso, like with most partially spiritual or mystical beings, INTENTION in saying any name for them is what matters. If you're saying SW in a rejecting manner, the same way we say FP, then attention likely won't be drawn to you. But if you're saying SW or FP in a scared, interested, or in anyway enticing manner, someone might feel that and they might come see if the call was worth their time, and they might get mad if it isn't! So it might be better to focus more on intention than worrying about the exact words one is using. Just my opinion, of course. Mimic however seems to be used as an umbrella for any entities engaged in mimicry, which could be any vast number of things, so that seems like a safe though nonspecific term to use for these topics.
ur so beautiful loey i love ur videos. ive been struggling with depression for years & ur channel really makes my days better & happier. i recently found ur channel again, i used to watch u years ago & im so happy i found u !! so happy to see u thriving 🖤

Not the Walmart Halloween mask at 13:30! 😂 I knew these videos were fake already, as I was already sure I'd heard that Dustin addressed that these are videos for his film classes, but the fact that I have the exact same mask as decor (they're name is Demon, and I love them) really solidifies these as for entertainment purposes only
Girl one of my kittens (the one named Bonnie, Bonnie and Clyde lol) started hissing at the wall with his back arched like crazy, then his brother also started staring at the same wall but he was growling with his back arched instead of hissing, like wtf
So as someone who has had decades of paranormal experiences that continue on a daily basis ,I can tell you for certain that when it's authentic & really happening you do not have enough time or think to record because it's terrifying & you are praying & waiting for it to leave. I understand it's all for entertainment & views ,money ,ect . But it's not something to mess with for fun. I've had phantom touches the most, mimics alot ,disembodied voices, music playing, shadow people, footsteps when noone is here, objects move and I'm so used to it that it's actually annoying and I just yell at them & demand they leave. I always had encounters but it got way worse after my NDE. Just please be careful the spirit realm is very real & once they know you can see ,hear & feel them they never leave you alone.
@@kellynh9303 Yep, we instituted a “if I can’t see and touch you then text me if we aren’t in the same room” policy because this thing steals our voices. All of us will hear each other when they’re either asleep or not home. It’s not remotely fun. And never once have I had the presence of mind to grab my phone and video. I do get frustrated when things are flying or doors are slamming and will scream for it to shut up and leave. And for a while it seems like it does. But it always comes back. The worst is the feeling of being watched when you’re alone. I have literally closed and locked my own bedroom door because it feels like someone is staring from the hallway.
To add: as we were moving in.. we have a line of women with some intuition that you wouldn’t believe. My aunt walked in the door one time and said “research this property. You won’t be alone here, but you won’t like why.” I’m currently waiting on info from the courthouse as the house is relatively new… but I’m in the smack dab middle of civil war and old plantation territory. (I thought these people were a joke but were actually serious when I looked for wedding venues and this beautiful manor everyone suggested… had us tour the old “slave quarters” for a “rustic feel”. I have never been so disgusted or left a place so fast in my life. You want me to take wedding photos in places where people were abused and killed in chains?!?! What is wrong with you people?!? I still see these photos go up of people I know … well, knew, because they got the same tour I did and booked and did photos in those same areas… that’s a way to become an ex-friend extremely fast in my book. It makes me feel sick to even type it but I am nothing if not honest).
@@laurensmith43017 goodness... I wouldn't want to get married anywhere with such horrific history either. And they were literally trying to sell it to you as a "rustic feel" Yuck!

And their screams are horrifying even at a distance but if it sees you running… it’s a cat. What do cats love to do? Chase and play with their prey. The rules here are not just for the paranormal but for lots of practical reasons as well.
Cus it's not real. It's an arg
23:15 the way they/it walks is ✨iconic✨ get them/it to a modeling agency NOW!

STOP!!! Everyone tell her that her wigs rocks, it’s SO cute, especially in the braids ❤ love you loey
I hate that I lose interest the second I find out something is just ARG or a storytelling, it just immediately becomes a little goofy :^(
Same... it becomes so much less interesting & entertaining!
I love Nurx! I use them for my birth control prescription and they're great. So cool to see you sponsored by them! Can't wait to watch this spooky video!
50?!!??! girl you are SPOILING us and I love it
You're so sweet and i love to hear you call people "my beloved "❤

My husband calls Flesh Pedestrians Ambulatory Epidermises
Loey it is midnight… honestly this is the best time for scary TikTok’s on mimics. Slay girl
coffee at 7pm is so relatable and you being hyper is so cute loey hahaha
As someone who's had my own experiences on the Navajo Rez and has lived in big cities and small towns I can tell you they are everywhere. I've had elders tell me they're more common in the city since some ppl see it as if it's not real and unknowing welcome them in when they're disguised as "pets" or wild life.
Soooo is no one gonna mention the animal (presumably a dog) that obviously triggers the security light at 6:10 😂😂
She said in the video that those weren’t his dogs and he doesn’t know where they came from… so nobody’s mentioning it because they listened
@@ThriftedsoulllI’m not sure this little comment warranted that much rude. If ghost TikTok’s make you fussy maybe take a break

Dustin, my guy, even if it isn’t paranormal, you don’t open the door!!
AR, real paranormal, a skit, whatever...That car video was enough to do me in. And it's these videos that make me glad I can't whistle.
The first few are actually so convincing if you think of it as a mimic. These are so good, he is so talented
AHHHH THE VIDEO WAS FREAKY ASFFFFFFD 10:08 ;and the way you can hear it's not a real person 12:00 ;OHH MY GOSH LOEY YOUR TRYNNA KILL MEEEEEEEE 13:54 ;
I needed this video this morning. Living in the U.K. it’s 9am and my body is ready. Let’s goooooo. ❤
Your body is ready?.....huh?
His videos would be a super dope way to express a talent of ventriloquism.
The way I wouldn't even be able to go outside in general if that shit happened to me, what if I let it in when I go to work/the store???
35:56 i got so excited when i saw the gaelic writing i recognized it immediately since im learning it lmfao
I was going to watch this last night when it dropped but my husband was working and i knew i would get too creeped out home alone 😂 Love you Loey!
The "screaming in the wood's" video is definitely a big cat. Mountain Lion, Bob cat or panther.
Omg I enjoyed this so much! Making my boyfriend watch part one then heading over to watch part two! This storyline is sooo creepy and entertaining.
I was about to go for a nap but can't anymore time to get Spooked!
i’ve literally been binging old loey videos all day AND THEN LOEY BLESSES ME

Yknow what thank you Loey bc I’ve been struggling to sleep recently and I actually tend to have better sleep after binging your videos all day
THE QUEEN HAS POSTED ✨🫶🏻
Love the hair!! And makeup u ate that!

Ahhhh new big Loey video! We have been blessed 💖 I hope you’re feeling better!
sure it’s four am and i have tutoring in six hours and i haven’t slept in weeks but it’s loey so who cares :D
Literally just finished reading part 1 of Salem's lot and was thinking what to do and here comes your video 😂
Not the Walmart Halloween mask at 13:30! 😂
I knew these videos were fake already, as I was already sure I'd heard that Dustin addressed that these are videos for his film classes, but the fact that I have the exact same mask as decor (they're name is Demon, and I love them) really solidifies these as for entertainment purposes only
7:05 he’s so darn sweet…”I was tryin’ to get me some trail mix…” no one should deal with what he’s dealing with! Poor kid.
Just got home from university and it’s my favorite thing to rest while watching loey’s vids! Love you loey!
I’ve always been skeptical about mimics and shapeshifters, but this was genuinely creepy.
you uploaded it at 4am, i had to wait for it to be light to watch it now!
Girl one of my kittens (the one named Bonnie, Bonnie and Clyde lol) started hissing at the wall with his back arched like crazy, then his brother also started staring at the same wall but he was growling with his back arched instead of hissing, like wtf
I also have a cat named Bonnie!! I also had a bearded dragon named Clyde :)
the queen is back! i got to this vid late since yesterday I was writing, but today is animation day! I can watch now! Yyayayaya
I think his whole tiktok account is all for fun or a good RPG. So far so good 😊

You won’t be alone here, but you won’t like why.”
I’m currently waiting on info from the courthouse as the house is relatively new… but I’m in the smack dab middle of civil war and old plantation territory.
Makes sense why I've always heard it's advised to never acknowledge an entity... Bc of the last part of ur comment. They never leave you alone & it'll get worse.
@@CourtneyDeez that was my exact feeling. Like chills down my spine and “nah, this isn’t what we were looking for”. BYE!

I don't wake up and watch the news, I come to Loey for all the breaking spooky stories 🖤
HI LOEY! TY FOR THE UPLOAD!!! it makes me feel better when I’m going through a lot
10am and already i'm being entertained by you? Love it! 💕much love from germany!
Guten morgen!!! ☀️
It’s probably attached to Dustin because he might be easy for the mimic to replace they usually go for those who are easily mimicked and easily accessible to them trying to replace them by getting them to respond the more you respond the more powerful they get and the more they gain the ability to mimic you
You guys are like ITS THREE AM lovey what?? But rn for me it’s like 5 pm 🤨

Loved the whole Dear David ARG and think the guys videos are so cool, despite them being like a fake story, its just so cool to me.
