I woke up about a month ago at midnight hearing knocking on my window. I thought it was my younger sister playing a prank on me at first, but immediately got scared and stayed quiet without moving. I refused to open the curtains because I could hear my sister sleeping in the other room, and my window is on the third floor facing the street.

There is a reason I've started sleeping with a bluetooth sleep mask and listen to raining sounds. I have heard something saying my name so many times at night when I'm trying to sleep that I've finally just decided to drown out the voice lmao. But I've heard it since I was a kid, I remember even telling my grandma one day and her telling me "You didn't hear anything, but do your grandma a favor stay in your bed, shut your eyes , keep your rosary under your pillow and never go looking for the noise okay?" I knew if my grandma was acting like nothing was wrong but giving advice like that it was something sinister and that you don't talk about. Miss that woman everyday.

I used to live in a haunted house, and it's true that eventually, you just get pissed that the entity won't let you sleep. Toward the end whenever it would growl or start banging on something I'd just tell at it to STFU because I had to work in the morning. After I started getting mad rather than scared, the activity dramatically decreased & eventually stopped altogether until the last week we were there. I told it that it couldn't come with us & it was PRESSED about it. I think it liked us because we made a deal. We had a spare bedroom & I told it that I'd stay out of that room if it left the rest of the house alone. I still drive by that house pretty regularly & I've seen at least 4 renters move in and out within the last year. When we first rented it, we actually took over our neighbors lease & while he was showing us the house, I thanked him profusely because the house was twice as big as the house we were living in, but the rent was the same. (Now I know why.) After I thanked him, he silently looked me in the eye for a solid 30 seconds, then said, "Don't thank me." I got chills & we left soon after. I wonder if no one stays there for long because of the activity. We lived there for 3 years because we could've afford to move, so I just learned to deal with it. I took a photo of the front door the night we left & i swear you can see the entity looking out the window of the front door. That phone was stolen, but hopefully, my dumbass backed it up SOMEWHERE.

Omg that's so scary!! I lived in an apartment for a year that was HAUNTED I was so scared. I started staying up all night and sleeping all day, bc at night it would MESS with me, so badly. But it never seemed to come into my room (idk why) and when we moved, I said whatever you are, you are NOT coming with. That night right before I fell asleep (an earlier than usual time 3am) I saw what looked like the hand of the freaking grudge very slowly go up my TV. I tried to brush it off and blame it on being half awake, but the next day, the fing handprint in the dust literally brings years to my eyes to this day🥺🥺 we left the next day, and someone else lives there, but there is something so dark and so sinister about that place and anytime I go by there I get such a bad feeling. It used to mess with my kids too it was all around a terrifying experience 🥺🥺

I officially moved from Siberia to Appalachia when I was about 6-7 years old, and I can tell you, there are very similar rules between the places. My dad was a sundancer and what he learned from the Lakota was when you MUST and only ABSOLUTELY MUST say something to them, say “thank you for coming, now you may leave” if you’re at home or in a space that’s yours. DO NOT tell it to leave if it was in that space first. And y’all don’t get me started on the coyote people…if ya know ya know.

    • @calliew311
      @calliew311 7 місяців тому +32

My dad was a Sundancer too. A medicine man healer also adopted me. We are from the west, so Sundance isn't in our tradition, but my dad had some friends and would go up to North Dakota every summer to sun dance. He even was pierced a few times.
One time I was in going to a healing in my hometown, we sent for the healer from ND, and I started my period, which is "powerful", so then the poor healer had to do two different sweats a day because I couldn't be in the healing sweat with the men. It's called me being "on my moon." In Paiute, and my Washoe tribes we didn't have any exclusions like that, or not any that I knew of.

I used to work in a library where whenever I was reshelving downstairs a book would fly off the shelf directly at my head from across the room. Always the same book (the Red Badge of Courage). While I worked there several patrons all claimed to have been talking to me only to find I hadn't been in the room, and had definitely not been talking to them. We all just sort of chose to ignore it.

My kitchen/living/dining room lights used to flip on/off after I went to bed, and because I have a cat I'd have my bedroom door partially open - so naturally I'm laying there getting flashbanged every once in awhile.
One night I was supremely tired and get comfy, get settled in to scroll twitter a bit before I pass tf out. Boom - all three lights are on. I THREW my bedroom door open (dented the wall a bit), stormed into the dining room and yelled "What F***ING bills are you paying to be messing with the lights!?" turned them all off, went to bed. Never once had that problem again. Next morning, something I'd misplaced that I'd been looking for for weeks was sitting in the dead center of my desk as though it was like 'sorry my bad.' Was ready to risk it all on it being malevolent but I was so done.

That one of the Dustin guy hearing his own voice talking is so creepy. Especially when the voice mimic said "Will you talk to me?" It sounded so clearly like his voice behind the door, that's terrifying! And, when it was knocking at the door loudly that was terrifying. It really sounded like a spirit that was trying to see if Dustin would open the door to let it in. Yikes!

I have PTSD, so I used to think when I heard my parent shouting my name in the shower, it was because i'd done something wrong or I just didn't hear them.
Till the voices started to sound like others, especially those dear to me.
I can talk to the dead and so I'm used to hearing and seeing spirits run around and talk to me, but this is different -
It's so distinct, and it's so clear. It isn't like flashbacks.
I still respond out of panic but unless mimics and tricksters begin to cause problems/act maliciously I usually don't pay them mind.
Don't disturb me and I won't disturb you.

i think the influx of appalachia stuff is more that we just never really talked about it outside our own families and communities before. things have been known and accepted for generations. but just about every story that i've seen on social media, i've heard a similar story from my grandpa decades ago. my grandma would also give me a similar set of rules before i went out to play. i didn't really even understand them...until i did. it's really kind of cool that other people are into our experiences now, but it's still surprising sometimes. i've never lived anywhere else and it makes me curious about what is or isn't creeping around where other people live.

I remembered one time when we were talking to each other in front of our house, then suddenly we heard her sister calling out her name ── not her real name but her nickname, it came from their house (our house is right next to them) then she tried to answer saying 'yeah?', and then she remembered that her sister wasn't home and that she was home alone. My mom also heard it coz she was with us that time too, we kind of freaked out coz we heard it loud and clear.

All the videos of stuff in the Appalachian mountains makes me so so happy to live in a suburban neighborhood with houses on all sides besides my backyard (there’s a small stretch of woods but basically a mile (if even) of woods till you get to another neighborhood) and while I’ve experienced some weird stuff, nothing even close to those levels and I’m so greatful for it. The mimics are the reason I play my tv and watch something on my phone, I don’t even want to have the option of possibly hearing something, I’ve never heard anything I don’t think (not that I remember) and I’m not even going to chance it.

Birds absolutely do tweet at night. I'm surprised you've never heard it - unless you live in a very urban area. Some species of male birds tweet at night to attract tmates during spring. It's quieter so potential mates can hear them better. They will also tweet if they feel they're in danger to alert other birds. They can also become confused and think it is morning in brightly lit areas. I've always lived in rural areas and hearing a bird tweet at night isn't very uncommon.

Always protect yourself from these demons & never ever bring haunted dolls or items in your home cuz they're hard to get rid of. hi loey!! i love your videos so much and i just wanted to share one of my stories with you. it’s kinda mandela effect-y. so basically on my dads side of the family, there have been some weird incidents with knowing something before it actually happens. the most extreme one i’ve heard is of my great grandmother. it was something like she had a dream about a plane either malfunctioning or crashing, and so she called the plane company and told them that this certain flight was going to have something bad happen to it. they of course didn’t take her seriously, but a plane actually ended up malfunctioning in the sky, but i dont think it crashed. then my grandpa, my great grandmas son, has had many experiences with similar stuff. when my dad was about 12 my grandpa told him to be careful because he has a bad feeling about something. then a few days later, my dad fell down a hill and cut his arm open on a branch. wasn’t that bad but he had to get stitches. my grandpa was like “thank god that’s all it was”. there have also been times when he could tell that a police car was up the road, way before any of those navigation features sometimes told you. he even drove all the way home from his work one time because he had a bad feeling, and came home to my dad and his brother playing with matches and accidentally catching the rug on fire. my dads never had anything like this happen to him, but i have had one experience. so i horseback ride, and we were driving up the hill that the barn is on, and i told my dad “i have a bad feeling about this” but i went anyways. it was like a feeling in your gut, like it was tight. and i fell off a horse for the first time that day. nothing bad happened from it but it was really odd, and i didn’t even realize i said that in the car until after. anyways sorry if that was a super long story, but if you ever see this i hope you liked it!! love you!

In the third one that she posted where is trying to get in his house doesn't it sound like this thing is saying in this ominous whispering tone "I will kill you" that shook me to my core it's kind of hard to hear :|

I lived on a reservation for several years because of my parents jobs, the house we lived in was definitely haunted. I heard my family calling me but I always text them to ask ‘did you say my name?’ And 4/5 times it was a no. First few weeks in the house I would hear children running around outside my bedroom, idk if they were playing or not but it was terrifying. When we were moving out of the house I saw the clearest embodiment (?) of a woman, she was a fully white appertain and was watching me pack my things for about 4-5 seconds before she vanished. It scared me so bad. Our basement was also very haunted, but whenever I went down there I always felt like I was being watched and found it difficult to breathe, hated going down there and I avoided it when I could. My teachers taught me how to safe and cleanse areas so even though I live in a Christian household I still do this, makes me feel better and it’s so relaxing. I moved out some time ago but it still scares me to think about sometimes.

My day just gets better when Loey posts. I love watching your videos while I write!
In the video where the guy heard the talking and barking outside of the house I thought it said something like, “Hey. Hi. Open up. Open up. Can you talk to me? Where are you?” Don’t know if that video was real or manipulated in some way, but that’s what it sounded to me. The first two videos with the barking and the first one with the talking sounded more real than the other ones.

as someone who grew up with a native american grandma. when you hear things like this. don’t look, distract yourself, don’t think about it, don’t answer. get away as much as you can. most importantly turn on all the lights. if you live in north america, they don’t like the light. they like to be focused on. so stop thinking about it.

24:09 why did you describe exactly what my mom described to me after we BOTH woke up at 3am to a screaming/groaning/shrieking sound that sounded like a cat in pain. it sounded like it was RIGHT by my window and moving around, away from my window and close to the street lamp. she said in her dream she woke up bc she was getting chased by a cat man and she poked it with a needle to make it leave her alone and that’s when she woke up to the noise. WHEN I TELL YOU I COULDNT SLEEP FOR LIKE AN HOUR. it went on till i fell asleep and probably longer tbh.
makes it even creepier when i consider the fact that my mom and i are more spiritually in tune than the rest of my family (meaningful/prediction dreams, feeling energies, other paranormal experiences, etc.)

27:23 …. I JUST GOT TO THIS PART WHAT. WHAT IN THE PARALLEL EXPERIENCE?!?! i pretended not to hear it too, but i did NOT look out my window. i was very intimidated by the energy, and i didn’t want to see if it was a real cat or something else more sinister

The reason why there's been an uproar of supernatural is due to the veils guard lowering. (witches/empaths please confirm, I know I'm not crazy on this) something is changing in the atmosphere, environmental, whatever it's called and making it much easier for the supernatural/spooky things to come through and more frequently

So nice to know I'm not crazy. My family supposedly comes from a long lineage of witches so I have some natural abilities. I've been with a narcissist until recently for the last 8 years so my natural abilities have diminished, I'm trying to get them back.

Had a dream a while back. The person whose point of view I was in within the dream sheltered with some other beings (a troll/bridgewatcher and some others I can't recall) It was one of those little patios with benches and a roof like you would see at a park. All of the others averted their eyes during the light of the midnight sun and kept their heads down. If you looked out though, you could see the veil dissolving.
I don't know how much of it was more than a dream if any, but it felt a bit too real.
