Pound for pound the greatest, Roy Jones, Jr. I have watched his fights with awe and joy. Roy is one of the greatest. Matt and Stack your interviewing skills are getting better and better.
I LOVE Roy Jones Jr. Commentating on fights. He gives you that special inside scoop from a fighters perspective and uniquedialogue about what fighters are thinking, strategy, knowing how to accurately assess their condition. Simply the best, never get sick of him.
Watching Roy box in his prime was like watching Tmac hoop when he first got unleashed in Orlando. The combo of natural talent and confidence/flair was on a different level
First of all this is the best podcast in my opinion going right now. I’ve been waiting for this interview for a while. Roy is one of the best and hilarious at the same time.
Roy Jones Jr. & Sugar Ray Robinson are my top 2 fighters of all time! Roy was special. So much respect for what he accomplished in the ring. Roy in his prime? Damn!!!
Roy Jones Jr. A real people's champ. Showman of the sport. Gave us everything he had #RoyJonesJr none better to me. Salute @allthesmoke. I think Roy need a podcast he do just once a month love hearing him talk.
The reason I tuned in was for his thoughts on fighting Mike Tyson. He said it felt like a horse kicked him in his chest and it hurt for 3 days. 😂😂😂Mike still hit hard🥊😊
Wow this is my first time ever watch Roy in a interview, and this is one of the best interviews I’ve ever watch , this guy is awesome , great guy , smart and intelligent as hell , and he loves GOD !! Salute Mr Roy Jones JR , one of the greatest to ever do it the Boxing 🥊 Sport !!
Can i just say, and i know nobody cares, but Roy Jones Jr., Tyson and Ali, in that order are my favorites of all time. Im sure others put Ali and Tyson above Jones Jr., but my favorite to watch was always Roy. I LOVE all three for their careers and even more for their character. I really respect this man, and i think he was robbed twice, in the Olympics and his first professional loss. That first loss robbed him not only of his perfect record, which i believe he could have maintained if he hadnt had the loss, but also the purity of the will to win after that. He was still ferocious after but it did take something from him, and me for him. I wish him all the best in his life.
If Roy would’ve retired after he won heavyweight championship he would’ve been known as the greatest fighter to ever live. I still agree that he is but it would’ve solidified for the naysayers
Definitely, or even after he went back down his next fight and beat Tarver he should've called it quits. He didn't need to fight Tarver twice again those 2 losses kind of blemish his legacy

I had to tap in to this! Roy Jones Jr is my favorite boxer of all time (James Toney is my 2nd)! He speaks truth about the weight movement and how much it takes a toll on the body. I was mad that he didn’t make Tarver move up tho to fight because if I’m not mistaken Roy went from Middle to Light Heavy to Heavy back to light heavy. Nobody is doing that not even Floyd who makes his opponents drop to his weight. “if you got on tennis shoes and a fitted mouth piece you not gon beat me!” 😂
