Anyone notice the mistake on the quilt behind Jenny?? I LOVE IT!!! Seriously, quilting seems to be about precision and perfection, so when I see a mistake kept in, it fills my heart with joy because it reminds me that even the _best_ quilters are still human!

Jenny!!!! You are a natural at teaching. Your steps and explanations are done in a way that first time quilters feel 10 foot tall because they (me) too can sew such a beautiful quilt!! Thank you.

I made 2 of these quilts for the Newman Nursing Facility for the Elderly. I had sooo much purple and Lilac colors. They LOVE these quilts by Jenny and I love making them to help the patients stay warm. I make some to take there and they argue amongst each other sometimes on who's getting what......LOL Its kinds funny. Thanks Jenny

I'm catching this tutorial 6 years after it aired and immediately went looking for the fabric. I'm not finding the exact collection but oh my goodness the ones I did find! If not Robert Kaufman then Boundless is a great place to look. Unless you awesome people at MSQC can point a girl in the direction of the one this is made from.

@@candydeister I'm still looking for a machine that sits my needs and that's affordable on a fixed income. I put crochet and knitting aside and I've been doing needlework and quilting. @@susanvanvleck3957 I’ve collected a few vintage Singer machines over the past couple of years and I love the Singer 201, which I night for$50. I have the 301 and a Featherweight too, all of which I’ve serviced myself. It was fun to learn. Go vintage!

I noticed it too, being a visual person something was jarring visually but it took me a while to figure out what is was. However I love it being there because it proves that even if something isn’t perfect or exactly as originally planned it can still be beautiful. I love that they didn’t bother to change it because they love it and the work involved in making it. There are so many life values that we can learn from this. Also please don’t have a go at people for pointing it out, they’re not neccessarily criticising just observing and if we can be encouraged and learn from this then its a win win situation all round. Just be nice.

I've been quilting just over one year, and I've reinforced my basic skills and quilting terminology through your videos. I've also tackled flying geese, paper piecing, machine binding, machine applique, and quilting big projects on a small machine! I used all of those skills to complete my 2nd quilt this past summer, participating in Michigan's Row by Row Experience. And my favorite video is... the Quatrefoil Quilt. The "Fresh Lilacs" fabric collection is absolutely gorgeous, and the quilt is simply stunning.

Every Friday morning after breakfast I sit down at my laptop with a cup of coffee waiting anxiously to see what other project I will learn from Jenny. I have so many inspirations now and once I like a pattern I then plan to see what fabric I will choose! Thank you for sharing these simple tutorials, and giving us beginning quilters excitement to know that we can accomplish a quilt without being overwhelmed with the complexities of some of the old patterns. I am always amazed to see beautiful quilts, and now know that I too can at least learn to put the quilt top together and will now try to learn machine quilting also. Many of the ladies at the U.S. military base craft shop discuss some of your videos so know that you inspire us even in Germany!

I'm making the background out of fabric from the Lady Slipper Lodge line. I is same cream background color of the lilac line but it has little dragon flies on it. My sister is a breast cancer survivor and the dragon fly is her survival symbol. It is going o be beautiful. Thanks for this great video.

wow. super pretty quilt. As mentioned by others, I too will never live long enough to do all these great quilts ... I was lucky enough to recently "ADOPT" a Bernina and my sewing has improved dramatically, really it has. I got the machine about the time Jenny put out the "orange peel" quilt. For ME, a month is monster fast to accomplish a quilt. I couldn't have done it without that machine and MSQC tutorials / templates. And it really would have been done in a month if my hubby had not asked me to enlarge it to queen sized! Looks like this one will "have" to be next :D ... Happy Quilting everybody !!

Love this quilt pattern and the fabric used...it is gorgeous...I do spy one little mistake though...3rd row...4th block...looks like the top 4 patch got turned the wrong way...just makes it more beautiful! :)

That was so much fun. I have learned more in the past few days watching MSQC videos than I have in years. Thank you so much! I am not scared of binding a quilt any more! ;)

I've watched this several times and just noticed a boo-boo on the quilt on the wall. Third row down/right side.
See? Finished is better than perfect. GORGEOUS quilt - will be making this soon!

I bought a quarter yard bundle and the pieces are only 9" wide, so the fact that you cut the layer cake pieces into 4-1/2" blocks will work out for the 9" squares that I've already cut. Coincidentally, the fabric is variations of green and lilac. I've had the fabric just sitting and waiting for inspiration so I'll be using this pattern for those squares to make a quilt for my sister-in-law for Christmas. Thanks!

I'm doing this quilt top right now, in red/white/blue from the Summer Cottage line (Red Rooster). I love this block--it looks great, but comes together so easily.

Jenny, once more this is just lovely and the fabric is perfect for this block. I have seen this block before in a more scrappy combination of fabrics and it never excited me, but this combo is perfect. Thanks again for always inspiring us even way downunder ;)

I just completed sewing all my blocks and sashing together. Now to work on the borders. I used the Country Manor purple, today's Daily Deal. The only problem I had I lost some of my points. The next one is for Christmas and I will snowball the corners with 3" blocks. Beautiful blocks.
